I needed to come here and write a review it’s not often I do but Andrew at wickes went above and beyond in store for me he not only answered all my questions but he gave me time and effort even going as far as explaining to me three different ways to do the project based on cost efficiency I’ve not really seen that level of effort or help other DIY stores or in a work place at all really so yes I will be coming back to wickes for my next project now that my arched doorway is complet and I hope to see Andrew again!

What a helpful and cheerful member of staff Richard was. Came through straight away, helping me load my car. I hope he is there every visit I make. A lovely gentleman

Placed a click and collect order and the wrong item was picked. Despite this Morag was very helpful in locating the correct item (last one in stock and not on shelf). She was friendly, helpful and upbeat - great customer service.

Emma has been great at helping us put together our dream kitchen. She listened to what we wanted and provided that, and when we weren’t sure she provided options to help us decide. She’s really knowledgeable and friendly and made the whole experience very enjoyable. I would thoroughly recommend Emma to help you design your kitchen.

Emma made our experience pleasant and non stressful from coming to our house to do measurements to helpful tips to the actual design of the kitchen, Emma has great knowledge.
Can’t review the actual fitters or the finished kitchen has still waiting on fitters to get in touch

Purchased 3bags of their Top Soil a few weeks ago and I was happy with it so I went and purchased 1 more bag, same store, same Top Soil, absolute crap, full of stones and bits of wood, yes the soil was lump free but it definitely wasn't rubbish free. Won't being buying any more.
I don't know what is happening with this company, I stopped buying their own brand white emulsion as it was like painting with water and now this crappy soil. It's like buying something once and it's great but the minute you follow up buying more it turns into trash. No more.

A big shout-out to Gemma from the Huntingdon Wickes store—she really knows her stuff and knows how to help a customer.
She helped me choose the gravel color and handled the payment quickly and without any stress.
The whole visit took maybe 15 minutes.
I left very happy! I highly recommend it—Thank you

I ordered the items online and got an instant response closely followed by by an invitation to collect. Online payment was easy and secure. In the store, I was given a friendly reception and my goods were handed over quickly. First class service by Tracy N.

Needed to buy 4 x 5 Litres Barrettines Wood Protecter Treatment. Total £160 + £5 postage. Looked online for a Discount Code to use - found several - but none worked. Phoned Wickes spoke to a Scottish guy- explained and asked for 10% discount for first time buyer. Answer was No. Asked for free delivery - Answer was No.- Ok so I looked around online and found Wood Finishes Direct and found exact same product for £117 with free delivery !

I ordered bags of cement and sand from Wickes and was told via text by their delivery company that my order would arrive the next day. The delivery never turned up. Instead, I received the same promise every day for the next five days, with no delivery and no explanation.

After five days of waiting, I cancelled the order. Eighteen days later, I'm still chasing my refund.

This has been an incredibly frustrating experience from start to finish. Poor communication, broken delivery promises, and an unacceptable delay in issuing a refund. Based on my experience, I would never trust your money with these scam merchants.

I bought some tiles back in June this year. I needed to return 3 packs of them as i ordered too many. Since the 3rd July I have been trying to get them to come for them and give me a refund. Now today I've spoken with a lovely lady from customer service and she has said that the supplier will not come for them as its past my 30 days . I explained to her it is now but I've rang every other day to get these sent back and no one has done anything about it, its not my fault the 30 days have expired. So now I'm not entitled to a refund and its over 140 pounds. Im disabled and live on my own its ridiculous how they treat people. I've asked for a manager to ring me as im taking this further, but I know I won't get a call .so it will be legal advice I need. And to the person who reads this and asks for more information to get this sorted dont bother as im still waiting for your company to sort out my bathroom carry on.

Brand new layout at Chesham. More logically organised than before. Emily was very helpful despite everything being new to her as well.

Great experience today. Simon (ex-army!) helped me sort out a decorating issue. Pleasant, helpful and willing to ‘ think outside the box’. Great customer service - golden and rare these days!
