Eggsceptional ( not)
Good Morning
I am not in the habit of complaining but I will make an exception this morning . We ordered three breakfasts which were supposed to have eggs. They arrived with no explanation or apology for the lack of eggs . When I tried to discuss this with your manager she said the supplier did not turn up and it wasn’t her fault .
When I suggested the app should have been updated to indicate the position she said I was rude and walked off !
A simple hand written sign throughout the restaurant would also have worked ! ( albeit your orders may have been decreased )

This is the second weekend in a row I have visited the Greyfriers in Preston, still no toilet paper in the male toilets and the cubical door locks are still broken off the door.
Surely the staff signing the hourly check have noticed this!

If I made what I just ate at the Giddy Bridge in my own home, I would be delighted! I’m buying shares in the company
Rochdale Wetherspoons terrible bar service.
Rochdale Wetherspoons this afternoon once again serving the regulars who jump the queue. I’d been waiting about 5 minutes and I was next to be served. Another customer walks up the the bar and even without saying what he wanted a member of the bar staff started pouring him a pint. I told her I was before him and her reply was ‘I’ve started serving him now’. Even though the customer told her to serve me she still carried on. How ignorant was that? I’ve seen this lots of times in Rochdale Wetherspoons. I think it’s the policy to serve regulars first and stuff the rest of the customers.
Avoid for dietary needs /allergies.
I would like to report my experience at The Good Yarn Uxbridge Wetherspoon.
Me and my partner both need a gluten free diet and we enquired the staff on the counter about the menu and they adamantly directed us to the "screen" where we would find information about allergens to which we complied and proceeded to scroll through the options on the menu. We needed to enquire further regarding what was actually going to be in the food we ordered as the information presented on the screen was not clear. For example in the burgers sections we could see a few options available with no gluten but it was not specified if the burger comes with gluten free buns or if it was just the patty that was going to be served. We asked the question to the staff on the counter to which the staff did not answer and kept repeating "you need to check the screen". We asked to speak to a manager and the staff asked the question if the burgers were going to be served with the buns or not on the staff radio, the manager answered to check the screens, again. We asked to be shown by the manager where on the screen we could find that information and he was not helpful and his attitude was bothered and dismissive. We were told "you need to make your own decision" and "we can't give you advice" and "you will have to PROBABLY have the burger without the bun". No one seemed to care to ask the kitchen staff what was actually going to be served if we ordered the burgers.
To say the way we were treated was absurd is an understatement. We were absolutely appalled at the attitude and the lack of understanding from the staff. The whole process of being told to look at the screen and being treated as lunatics, instead of having a human conversation was humiliating and discriminating to say the least.
We both felt terrible and decided to leave the venue without ordering any food.
We feel we did not deserve to be treated the way we did and we wouldn't want anyone else to experience what we did.
Giving a screen or a menu with partial and unclear information to the guests without proper guidelines and training for staff on how to handle guests with dietary restrictions is not a good way of fulfilling the company's regulatory duties. It is such a disgrace that in 2026 people with dietary needs are still treated like this.
I will urge any food allergy /intolerance person to shun Wetherspoons at all costs.
An Entire Overhaul is needed
I arrived in the evening about 8pm hungry and thirsty for food and drink at the Poyton Wetherspoons. The fish and chips arrived thoughly unappealling. What was worse, the sprat sized piece of fish, or that it was fried beyond being edible? Then there was the eight chips, again unappealling and dry. I even gave the server a smile as my 'food' arrived, thinking that he'd had a long day, and he just threw the plate at me. I left feeling seriously dissatisfied. I stopped going for breakfasts a while back, because the beans were always cold and the portion was mean. I won't be going back.
Awful staff attitude at Kenilworth WS
Awful staff attitude at Kenilworth WS. We have been going every Wednesday for breakfast but, due to the attitude of the female assistant manager, we will go no more. There are plenty of places for breakfast with good staff.

Food experience The George in Staines
Hi,
Weatherspoons Staines should improve their food experience. By all means please check with Woking Weatherspoons where the food is amazing.
Thank you,
Paul
Could have been better
Service here was very good. The staff are friendly. They brought our drinks out within a few minutes of ordering, the food quickly followed. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall speed of everything. The food was quite good for what it was. It was tasty and filling the family were happy with both the service and food.
The downside we hadn't long ordered and we were sitting in a fairly empty part of the restaurant. When in walked a family of 10 for the most part the kids were well mannered and polite. Then in walked the mum of the family who for some good no's what reason decided it was an ideal place to shout everything out!!!??? Literally at the top her voice no one else in that family were causing a scene or a drama. Why is there a need to shout out the entire menu and then repeatedly shout at your kids that they can order what they want. Why do people feel the need to shout like this? for god's sake show some respect.
This is not the restaurant's fault I do understand that. But please, please, please if you are reading this and are notoriously loud and about to visit a restaurant. Please, please be a bit more considerate for those around you. If your kids are well mannered and well behaved and not shouting their lungs out in a restaurant, then quite honestly they are showing you up.
Also another bit of advice don't bring your kids into a restaurant if they are clearly sick. For all you know there could be a vulnerable person in the restaurant trying to eat there with a lowered immune system.
Again do the decent thing and keep them at home until they are not coughing their guts up. Nobody wants to go out and feel they have to eat next to someone else's clearly poorly child
Non existent service, Bedminster Bristol
I went to Robert Fitzharding, Bedminster in Bristol and ordered a meal with a drink via the Wetherspoon’s app at the table. The food arrived quickly. I informed the server that I had also ordered a drink and she replied, that would be from the bar and disappeared. It’s a Sunday afternoon and not very busy at all. Again, as no show. I asked another employee about my drink. Still nothing. I finished my meal, went up to the bar and requested my pint which I had paid for via the app, explaining I had already asked twice for it without result. The barman seemed to be completely ignorant. After checking my order it almost seemed he was still clueless. I said I still want my drink to which he said disinterested like he couldn’t care less ‘no problem’, barely apologising as he handed me my drink.
Bloody useless.
A local pub for local people
A local pub for local people. Just been refused service at the bar for trying to get the staff to serve me who were ignoring me. Good business model . One Customer being served. Three bar staff two of which were just looking at me whilst having chat. Made me feel like I was in Paris. Good luck. Avoid like the plague

I had a terrible experience in William…
I had a terrible experience in William shenstone Wetherspoons in Halesowen West Midlands.
After ordering my food the app did not confirm my order, as usual, just took me back to the banking details page to add my details again.
I presumed my order had not gone through and went up the bar to order, l sat down with my drink and 2 minutes later another drink arrived.
I realised my order had gone through twice.
After a prolonged discussion with bar staff and the manager l asked for a refund and was told no l needed to go through the app for a refund.
I was upset as this was meeting a friend for a Christmas meal and catch up, definitely ruined my day.
The manager was rude and the bar staff agreed with me they would have refunded me.
The app was just as bad, they wanted information l didn't have such as my receipt number, which l didn't get as my order didn't go through !!! I wasn't told l needed any additional by the manager.
The person who commuted on the app said the manager should have refunded me in the pub, she then stopped communicating and l have heard nothing more.
I would say this is a great money maker for Wetherspoons as no one wanted to refund my money, terrible customer service, insist in the pub for a refund if you have a problem, feel totally ripped off.
Not bad if they do this on every customer who complains !! Nice addition income when a customer has received nothing.
Shocking be aware.
