I meet many bland people during my travels so was really pleased to be greeted by the smiling and genuinely friendly young chap at CoffeeLink within Bury St Edmunds railway station.

Theo was polite, engaged, efficient and communicative... traits often missing these days.

It was so nice to meet another person happy in their day.

In comparing this Wetherspoon's, The Liberty Bounds, Tower Hill, London, to many others around the country I rate this one highly.

I prefer to eat upstairs here as it is well kept, tables cleaned and condiments topped up and plentiful. The food we had on Tuesday, curry each, was hot and well flavoured, drinks well kept too.

The app worked well, drinks were served at our upstairs table in good time with the food following shortly afterwards.

It's only a Wetherspoon's but made to feel so much more by the friendly, pleasant and always busy team-member Mark. This conscientious gentleman makes it way more than the average outlet and it's always nice to meet him again, however fleetingly because he makes all customers as his priority.

I have real pleasure in recommending this busy, bustling place and will be back again.

A hectic Central London week deserved a reward for our hard-work & controlled-tempers, don't ask, we decided upon a guaranteed great dinner feast.

We were welcomed back to our favourite Angus Steak House, Leicester Square and shown to a quiet table with great views of the bustling Street outside.

It was happy hour so, "in order to help the local economy", we ordered cocktails, niiice.

Then the mains arrived... Sirloin and skinny fries and my Fillet with chunky chips. Onion rings and coleslaw were shared between us and we both enjoyed our chosen sauces.

Time for more cocktails, hic.

Creme Broulet to follow, so thick, so creamy, so rich... equally moreish than the main. Then coffee to finish.

A great meal served by a fab' young lady, Andreea. Nothing was too much trouble for her and fellow staff. Another very pleasing visit and, well fed, we bid farewell promising we'd defo be back again (soon I hope).

So it was time for new headlights (seeing how the latest ones fitted only lasted 4 months and an Amazon refund will be requested).

I visited Halfords in Bury St Edmunds and was served and advised by the friendly and customer focused team-member named Thomas.

My purchase of 150% Halfords brand headlights fitted my Volvo halogen units with a reassuring snug fit, cables connected and all seemed well.

I'm pleased to say that the headlights are working well and light up the dark well enough for confident night vision, even compared to the 200% Philips bulbs that let me down one after the other.

Wow, what service. From the moment I entered the store to the time I left I was tended to professionally, courteously and patiently.

Pre-checks and OCT done then Optician Ezinne conducted a thorough and engaging eye test, explaining as we went and consideratly answering my questions and thoughts.

Finally to Andy, a focused chap, pun intended, who helped me choose a new frame style and spend appropriately for my glass wearing needs.

Tha branch has adequate parking, counter access, staff serving and stock choices.

The instructions did not include enough description of the car park itself and, because of this, I parked in a different Barker Road B&Q car park and was given 2 x parking fines by the local council. They were utterly disinterested in my challenge so I had to pay £50.00 in additional parking costs (which is not how I conduct myself).
If the instructions had advised of multiple parking areas with the same name around the same building of an unfamiliar town I wouldn't have ended up paying nearly £93.00 out.

I phoned ahead and received a professional and courteous response. Stock was available and put-by for my arrival 1 hour later. Covid-19 precautions were followed without issue and the transaction was smooth with a little conversation as well.
