Outstanding building faults in The Shay Wake.

I am writing about the Shay Wake in Shaw, Oldham.
I wrote to Customer Services about 3 long outstanding maintenance items requiring urgent attention. They will not tell me what action they propose to take to remedy matters, stating that it is a matter of confidentiality! Why it’s so top secret I don’t know. Unbelievable!!!!

TV Programming

I am posting this on Trustpilot because the “Contact Us” facility on their web site is impossible to find.
I visit the Shay Wake in Shaw, Oldham most mornings for a coffee. Until recently the TV has been switched on to a news channel, but recently it has been showing a video promoting their hotel business. There is only one very small TV in the building and it is virtually impossible to read the very small print. I have raised this matter previously and received no satisfactory response. The staff, who I might say are very good, say that they have been instructed to show the hotel video. Could I suggest that the easiest way of resolving this problem would be to instal another TV purely for this purpose.

I am currently trying to book the YORK…

I am currently trying to book the YORK FISH AND CHIPS RIVER CRUISE but on the web site when I am told to enter my voucher number nothing happens, I have also tried ringing the number shown on the web site but I then get the message “not recognised”.
Hopefully this will instigate a response!!!!

Very poor "Chat" sevice.

I used the on line Chat service to discuss my Home Care renewal quote. The price has increased due to 1 call out, which I couldn't remember. I asked for the details and got completely nowhere. I was then given details of another customers chat! Very poor service.
I used the chat service because the time to answer on the phone service was estimated at 50 mins!!!!

The good and the bad!

Everything on board the Balmoral is very good. The staff and food cannot be faulted. However beware of the trips offered when you land at the various destinations. They are very poor and very expensive.

This Company should be avoided at all…

This Company should be avoided at all costs. I ordered a car tracker and the instructions that came with it were worse than useless. I sent them email after email for assistance but even with the information they provided the tracker would still not work. I accept it was outside the 15 day return period but surely because it is faulty they should accept my request for a refund. However they are adamant that I can’t return it.

We are very sorry to know what happened to you and we sincerely sympathize. At the outset I would like to inform you that even during operational tenure, AOI TECH SOLUTIONS has never charged any customer with Direct Debit, our company only allowed pre-authorized payments.

About Operation Closure:
The company has not been operational for more than 2 years now. and is only providing FREE SUPPORT and ASSISTANCE to handful of customers with "ongoing Support Plans". But one thing I can assure you is that AOI TECH SOLUTIONS has not charged any customer any payment in the year 2022-2023.

I suggest that you contact your Bank and find out which Bank Account/ Company has been charging your card on Direct Debit. If you currently have an ongoing plan with us you can send an email to support@aoitechsolutions.com and if your Support Subscription is valid ONLY THEN you will be contacted by the SUPPORT TEAM and even they WILL NOT BE CHARGING you any amount for Support service.

Due to the lack of information we have on your case (as we did not charge you this year) there is almost nothing we can do with your case.

We always pay the extra £3 each way to…

We always pay the extra £3 each way to be able to carry hand luggage into the cabin. What I would like to know is who checks that the passengers who use this service have paid. No tickets are issued and luggage isn’t marked in any way.
I would also like to know who has come up with the barmy idea of disembarking the plane in seat row order? I assume it’s to do with social distancing but what is the point when you are then crammed like sardines on a bus to take you to the terminal. The joke is that the windows on the bus are plastered with signs saying “Keep Your Distance”. Unbelievable!!!!

The most disturbing aspect was the horrendous so called “help line”. When I rang I was number 8 in the queue and after waiting 1 hour my call was eventually picked up. Simply not good enough.

Very poor service.my test took 3 Days my wife’s 5 days.
Help desk worse than useless and in the end the agent simply hung up.

Very poor Customer Service.

I ordered jeans size 42ins but received jeans that only measured 40ins even though they had the correct label. Jeans returned and refund received but no full apology. They say that they were within the allowed tolerance of 1 - 2 cms but according to my calculations 2ins equates to 5cms. Very poor Customer Service.

Very dodgy firm.

Very dodgy firm. In May 2020 we paid £130 for McAfee and 5 years Firewall + Support. This week (Feb 2021 ) they rang to say that our Windows was out of date and we needed to update to Windows 10 Home at a cost of £119.95. When it got to payment we said we wanted to pay by card but I wasn’t happy about doing it over the computer so I said why don’t you just send us a bill at which point the guy lost his rag and said “have it for free happy Valentine’s Day”. We therefore think our computer has been hacked.
