Shocking service just called into the Dewsbury branch now and there were 6 reduced fence panels. There was a member of staff sat on the floor restocking a shelf and my partner asked him how much are these normally, the guy tutted and said the price is right there on the end. My partner said I know, I’m wanting to know the price they normally sell for. The guy signed and said well you if you walk up there to where the others are you’ll be able to see. Despite his unwillingness to help, we decided we were going to take 4 of them. My partner said to me I might ask at the till if they’ll do a bit more of a deal of we take all 6. The guy then dropped what he was doing to follow us to the till. When we asked if took all 6 could we have them for £15 instead of £18, he interrupted us and said to the girl serving us no, don’t let them they are already reduced, no further discount. The girl who served us seemed shocked by this and said sorry we usually do but looks like I’ve been overruled, she was lovely and apologetic. As we were leaving we decided we really weren’t happy with what had happened and his attitude towards us and wanted to raise a complaint. We went back in to ask for the name of the guy. The girl on the till wasn’t there, we asked another guy and he said James, why? We said we are making a complaint and he said well then I’m not giving you his name. Appalling customer service.

The designer was at my house for around 10 mins. He asked what I wanted while doing quick measurements, I asked to see a brochure but he didn't have one. How am I supposed to choose what I want. The lady who booked the appointment said he will have one for me, he said it was the ladies fault for not telling him.
He didn't seem very interested, said he'd just quote for cheaper worktops. (I had a workman here at the time doing a job for me, he said the say as I did about the designer. ) not very impressed

Looking for a paint which was not in the aiees but the staff found it for me

I can’t thank Hayley enough for designing both our kitchen and bathroom, following through the process and coming and checking , when finished, if I was satisfied. Hayley never made me feel guilty when I changed anything and made me feel like her only customer. I feel I have made a new friend. If I could award her more than 5 stars I would. I would like to commend Ian for going above and beyond the call of duty when assisting me.
After a very upsetting experience at the Oxford store, I called customer service feeling extremely frustrated, and I must admit that I was quite short with Ian. Despite this, he remained helpful and professional throughout the conversation.
What particularly impressed me was that Ian physically went to check whether the item I wanted was actually in stock, rather than simply relying on the system. This extra effort was greatly appreciated and demonstrated a level of customer service that is sadly quite rare.
Ian is a credit to your organisation, and I would like his efforts to be recognised. Thank you, Ian, for going the extra mile to help me.

Fantastic service from Keeley in the kitchen design team. She helped plan out the layout of the kitchen in our rental property and helped us to get the best price. When we return returned to change a couple of items, nothing was too much trouble and Keeley got this sorted for us straightaway. We’re really happy with the result! Thank you to Keeley for all her help.

I want to rate my delivery driver AJ who went the extra mile. I had many bags of heavy compost delivered and he so kindly placed them in my back garden so I didn’t have to struggle with their weight. He was a very friendly, helpful and professional delivery driver. Thank you AJ

I had a great trip to Wickes today. A gentleman called Kingsley was extremely helpful and very friendly, but manager Nargis went above and beyond to help me with an unrelated issue regarding a return. Her professionalism, charm and kindness could teach other managers in other companies a thing or two.

The advisor was polite, helpful & knowledgeable but the final quote for our en-suite refurbishment was excessively high due to the labour content (£5000+for 2 weeks work) plus the long lead time prior to commencement was unacceptable.

Ordered a bathroom which they failed to deliver as agreed. Two months on still trying to get my money back

We had such a great experience buying our kitchen from Wickes Hayes. We did shop around but found Wickes to be the best at price. Mr
Shahin Aziz was our kitchen designer who went above and beyond to get us the kitchen we wanted and in the budget we had planned. From the home measurements to designing it and showing us how it would look like. He gave us a great deal, helpful advice and made sure we were happy. Theres finance options at Wickes as well. Highly recommend!

I’m doing renovations on my garden. Wickes is just around the corner. Every time I have been in the staff are friendly, and very attentive. The store is well stocked with everything I needed.
