I was given a delivery date and a three hour slot during which the item would arrive. On the day itself a specific time was given and the van arrived on time. Ryan and Chris were polite, friendly and helpful. They unpacked the tallboy, placed it upstairs and took the packaging away. An excellent company to use!

I popped in for a browse of the store with my daughter. I spotted two lovely side tables reduced from £150 to £90 each. I could really envisage these in my living room, at each end of our settee. Jess served me & explained that there was a further 30% off each table. They were duly purchased & Jess very kindly carried one of the tables out to my car, with my daughter carrying the other. They look perfect in position, even though one has a light grey frame & the other charcoal. Thank you for your help Jess.

Always lovely to visit the store rather than ordering on line because you can feel the fabrics and try out the furniture. Your staff are always so helpful

Excellent customer service at Stow store

Gavin and Ross delivered my furniture today. They were very polite and very carful bringing it through my very narrow hallway. They unpacked it outside before bringing it in and placing in situ.
I would highly recommend the the company. Lovely furniture.

Excellent Customer Service
Absolutely brilliant service from the team in store. Everyone was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and there was absolutely no pressure to make a sale, which made the whole experience really enjoyable.
A special mention to Louis, who was fantastic. He kept us updated when the item we were looking for came back into stock and was extremely helpful both over email and on the phone. He also went out of his way to give us information and advice on arranging a courier to get our purchase from the store up to Scotland.
The level of customer service from Louis and the whole team was excellent, and it really made a difference. I would highly recommend this store to anyone. Great staff, great service and a genuinely helpful team.

**Very disappointed with the quality of Cotswold Company furniture**

I bought a side table from The Cotswold Company and was so pleased with it that I decided to purchase matching drawers and cupboards with a white painted finish.

Unfortunately, when the new furniture arrived, it had a very strong chemical/off-gassing smell. I initially assumed this was normal for new painted furniture and expected it to disappear within a few weeks. However, months later, the smell is still incredibly strong.

I contacted customer service and asked them to investigate. I was charged a fee for a carpenter to come out and inspect the furniture. His conclusion was that the smell was simply the wood. I find this very difficult to accept, particularly because I already own other drawers from The Cotswold Company which do not smell like this at all.

The smell is not just noticeable — it is a strong chemical/off-gassing odour that gives me a headache and causes itchy eyes. Visitors to the room have independently commented on how bad the smell is. As a result, the cupboards and drawers are effectively unusable.

I am extremely disappointed that, after spending a significant amount of money, I have furniture that I cannot comfortably use and cannot, in good conscience, resell to someone else.

I expected much better from The Cotswold Company, particularly given the quality and price point of their furniture. The way this issue has been handled by customer service has only added to my frustration.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying painted furniture from this company.

Untrustworthy! I was due a full refund having returned the bookcase, as it was delivered with significant damage, and Cotswold falsely stated that they could not provide a refund to my original payment method. I had paid through PayPal so raised a dispute over the refund having sought assurance from PayPal that there was no reason Cotswold would be unable to make a refund and they must be being dishonest. A refund was issued to my original payment method so Cotswold had lied to me in their communication about my refund

Great delivery from Ross and Gavin today, I missed their call but they still found my house! Polite and friendly and soon took my item upstairs and unpacked it.. the fudge was a lovely touch! 😋

The staff in Stamford are so friendly and helpful. They have a beautiful range and ensured we were completely happy with style and comfort before ordering
