Total Home Environment researches and chooses products carefully so our clients can be sure that they give outstanding performance. Additionally, we will only specify those that fit best with our client's plans and budget. Our services also cover room by room heat loss calculations and 3D CAD system designs. Undertaking a selfbuild or major renovation can be a daunting and complex task. For over 22 years, Total Home Environment have been working alongside self-builders, architects and project managers to advise and support them throughout the build, helping them make sense of the changing technology and how to comply with regulations. Total Home Environment takes time to understand our client's lifestyle and how they live, from the spaces that get used the most during the day to their ideal temperature in each room. What a great company to deal with !

What a great company to deal with !
Friendly, professional and excellent products.
Total home environment advised, designed and installed a HPV and HPW system in
our selfbuild home.
We are very pleased with the environment we now have in our home , clean fresh air and no noisy extractors.
The internal environment of our selfbuild was probably one of the biggest decision we had to make through the build process. We made the right choice and couldn't be happier.
Highly recommend .

Very bad experience with this company…

Very bad experience with this company and would not recommend them if you are looking for a trustworthy company to install your MVHR. They lied to us and kept money they shouldn't have been allowed to keep. Wish I had never heard of or spoke with them.

Thank you for your feedback Jini. We are sorry that you feel that you have had a bad experience with our company. When you cancelled your self-build project and hence your ventilation order with us, your account manager did discuss that over 50 hours of consultancy had already been completed on your project, including three different 3D CAD system designs and a room-by-room heat loss report and appraisal to ensure the system was right for the home you were going to build. This was a significant investment of our resources. However, we generously refunded the partial costs for these services despite our Terms and Conditions saying:

‘…10% of the contract value or out of pocket expenses where greater, will be charged or retained if order is cancelled after written acceptance’.

We obviously refunded your deposit and only kept back the 10% cancellation fee, which will not have covered all our costs.

We are therefore puzzled that despite over a year passing since we have had any contact with you, that you are only now voicing your concerns, when we believe we have gone above and beyond our contractual responsibilities. We understand that it was a difficult decision to cancel your self-build project with all the stress that it entailed, but we consider that your comments are unfair, as our Terms and Conditions that you signed, are clear.

I have no reservations in recommending…

I have no reservations in recommending Total Home Environment as a supplier of MVHR. I involved them at early stage in the design of our new build property. From initial sales contact, thru review of options, design to installation and commissioning they have been totally professional. The performance of the system is excellent. Excellent service all round

We've just completed a new build property and in our search for help with the heating and ventilation systems, came across Total Home Environment. I don't often write reviews, but I have to say the service we received was excellent. The advice was friendly, thorough and impartial, they oversaw the design for both the MVHR and heat pump set up, and provided me with really good support during the installation phase. I would recommend them unreservedly!

Great service before I was even a customer.

I moved into a 14 year old property which has a Genvex system installed with no instructions and only a red flashing light on a control panel.
I sent an email to these guys more in hope than expectation that they might be able to point me in the right direction, but Dave was really helpful over email, reacting to pictures I sent and along with Colin remotely diagnosed the issue, ordered parts and told me how to install a new chip, controller and filters. Top service, and the system seems to be warming the house up nicely.
