possibly the worst fudge I have ever…

possibly the worst fudge I have ever had, firstly all the paper they wrap the fudge in sticks to the fudge and is a pain to get off. the wife brought for me for Christmas and I have just chucked the last 2 bars away its that bad. Tesco bags of fudge are much better.

Beautiful fudge

Beautiful fudge, packaged beautifully and tastes even better. Always on tiktok lives they run, always answer as many comments as they can and are always super polite. Lovely company, lovely staff and lovely fudge. I have had 1 block not arrive with one of my orders to which they had refunded me for, within around 24 hrs of receiving my initial message. Keep up the great work 👍 👏

Disappointing.

Disappointing.
Order 6 bars for friends, two were incorrectly packaged so wrong order was given out. Customer service didn’t really help. I found the fudge was not as nice as a previous order, but probably because I had to eat one I didn’t order myself due to the packaging errors. Wouldn’t purchase from here again as a result.

Delayed & disgusting

Ordered a special valentines themed gift a week before the day and the dispatch took so long, it arrived late. Waste of time and money ordering from them when they provide a themed gift but dont despatch in time (the courier delivered in good time, it was the company dispatch which took ages) When the fudge did arrive, it wasn't nice at all. Don't waste your money

All of our dispatch timeframes are clearly stated at checkout and on our website, and orders can take up to 5 working days to be dispatched, particularly during busy seasonal periods such as Valentine’s Day. Once dispatched, your order was delivered promptly by the courier within their timeframe.

Would not recommend

I had ordered from this company and after waiting two weeks never received my order. I contacted them and was told they resent it and also provided a "full refund". By the end of the next week, I still hadn't received the reshipment and my refund was partial. I contacted them again and was this time provided the remainder of my refund and was again told they resent my original order. It never came. At least I got the refund.

This was my second order. We like Dulce de leche. But that's it. Not worth getting again. The halloween order was horrid.

Who tasted these fudges and thought, oooh lovely, I'll sell this to some poor unsuspecting victim.

That is certainly not something we would ever want or expect, and I completely understand how upsetting this must have been.

All of our fudges are made using food-grade ingredients and flavourings, and they are tasted internally before being sold. That said, we fully appreciate that flavour is subjective, and we’re very sorry that several of the flavours did not meet your expectations.

Regarding your sister’s asthma, while none of our ingredients are known to cause airway closure, we would always advise anyone with allergies, asthma, or sensitivities to avoid consuming anything that feels too strong or causes discomfort. Her health and safety are, of course, the priority.

We’re really sorry that this order, and your previous Halloween order, disappointed you, especially as you’ve previously enjoyed our dulce de leche flavour. That’s never the experience we want our customers to have.

Please could you let us know your order number so we can look into this properly and see how best we can resolve this for you.

Terrible service from the finest fudge…

Terrible service from the finest fudge company, after calling in at the fudge factory i was told you can only buy on line or from some markets, i live 2 minutes away seems a bit strange that you can't call in to buy fudge at slotted times, i ordered some fudge on line three weeks in still haven't recieved my fudge got in touch with the fudge helpline got no response a few days later tried again No response nearly four weeks later got a message to say my fudge was on it's way when i did finally receive it after tracking it had been to Preston and then back to Clitheroe this to me doesn't make sense, sorry but i won't be buying from here again and won't be recommending the fudge was a birthday present and it came too late, the customer service is terrible at least have the decency to reply to any queries and who is Lara is she a real person when i have read the replies from her it looks like AI

I’m truly very sorry to read about your experience, and I completely understand why you’re feeling frustrated. This is absolutely not the standard we aim to deliver, and I’m really sorry that we’ve let you down, especially with this being a birthday gift.

To clarify a couple of things... our Clitheroe site isn’t a retail shop, it is where our kitchen is based... which is why we can’t offer walk-ins. But I do understand how disappointing that must have felt when you live so close. We’re a small team and still working on improving how clearly we communicate that to avoid situations like this in the future.

Regarding your order, it’s clear that our communication fell short. You should never have been left waiting for replies, and I apologise sincerely for the delay in both your delivery and our response time. The routing issue through Preston is a courier error, not something we control, but it’s still our responsibility to make sure you’re kept updated... and in this case, we didn’t do that well enough.

Just to reassure you, I’m Lara, & I personally handle all customer communications. I’m genuinely sorry that my replies came across as impersonal, that certainly wasn’t my intention.

I asked why its delayed on live, didn't answer my questions, completely missed my comments on purpose, then I get muted on the live! :(
There was a few people also chasing their orders.
What business does this to their customers.

Great fudge but..........

I'm not going to lie, I absolutely love this fudge. I have purchased on numerous occasions, however on the last occasion there a was a fair delay on my delivery. I contacted customer services on 2 separate occasions with absolutely no response to date! I did eventually receive my order but I will be thinking twice before ordering again sadly. I'm not entirely sure if the delivery delay was down to The Finest Fudge co, or if it was down to the courier unfortunately but I feel that communication would have been more than helpful!

Avoid

Terrible Service

I ordered over a week ago. I too wish I'd read the reviews. Terrible service. At the moment I'm not sure I will get my fudge. Time to goto my credit card to get a refund for goods not received.

Terrible fudge bought at Xmas market. Really sweet and artificial and a corner missing! No allergen information. Rolys fudge ten times better !

Fudging Disappointed

Daim Bar Fudge: The Daim element was almost non-existent. There was so little of it that my wife didn’t get any Daim pieces in her portion at all, and I had to show her proof that it was even included.

Chocolate Orange Fudge: This was surprisingly more enjoyable only once the fudge had started to go slightly stale, which isn’t exactly a positive point.

Peanut Butter & Jelly Fudge: I usually love this flavour combination, but it didn’t translate well into fudge. It was disappointing and didn’t capture what I enjoy about peanut butter and jelly.

“Arctic” Fudge: This had a blue line running through it, but I couldn’t identify what was supposed to be special about it in terms of taste. It looked more distinctive than it actually tasted.

Birthday Cake Fudge: This was essentially standard fudge with sprinkles. It lacked any notable “birthday cake” flavour and felt quite basic.

I can’t even clearly remember the final flavour from the box, which probably says a lot about how unremarkable it was.

Overall, despite the appealing marketing and variety of options, the flavours were weak or indistinct, and the experience didn’t feel worth the cost. I wouldn’t be inclined to order again based on this purchase.

I bought build a box so I was expecting…

I bought build a box so I was expecting 3 fudges when I only got one not that nice bought biscoff and it tasted horrid that wasn’t biscoff I’m am so angry. Also they sent me the rappers of 2 other fudges don’t buy waste of money do not recommend

Really shocked by the majority of…

Really shocked by the majority of negative reviews on here. The fudge from here is amazing. Im addicted!! (Although my bank account doesn’t like me with the amount I spend on it 😂) quality is great, soft silky and just pure delicious. You only need to have a small bit to satisfy the craving. Always keep mine in an airtight container to make it stay as fresh as when I receive it. I’ve tried their crumbly fudge which is nice but the soft fudge is my favourite. There’s been some flavours I’ve not enjoyed (baileys) but that’s because I know I don’t like the drink but I’d have FOMO if I didn’t try it.
