AA breakdown service

AA breakdown service, was a great help. Informed of the approximate time of arrival, on nearing address told will arrive in —- mins. Straight onto my problem either the car, had it sorted in a short time. The old parts removed by AA for recycling.

Thankfully Stephen arrived

Thankfully we had Stephen turn up today to help us with the brakes slave cylinder on the car. Piston and seal leaking. He repaired and chaperoned us back to the dealer in Exeter.
Great fella, excellent duty of care.

Excellent

Excellent! Vehicle failed at home so not that inconvenient and high priority but still Matthew, the patrol man, arrived within 2 hours. Following a brief explanation of the fault, Matthew set to work and had the problem identified within minutes. In the time it took me to get him a cold drink he'd fixed the problem and started the car. Such a nice person and a great service. Thank you AA!!

Excellent service from AA patrol

Excellent service from AA patrol. Flat tyre at home so not a priority, but patrol arrived within 4 hours. Wheel removed and taken to local repair centre by AA patrol. New tyre fitted and wheel re-fitted to car. All within 90 minutes. Well done Stefan, the duty AA patrol.

Steve who came out was very…friendly knowledgeable

Steve who came out was very knowledgeable also rang garage for me he spoke to manger of garage unfortunately garage was very busy so told Steve would see if I could get a garage that could do it quicker for me as I have to work Steve also advised me one of my belts had excess wear and would recommend getting it sorted . Great work Steve 👍🏼

Never experienced anything like it

Never experienced anything like it.
The app wouldn’t accept my postcode. Managed to speak over the phone and for first time ever no estimate time was given. We were on the road waiting 6 hours +
My partner is nearly 80 years of age
People came to bring us water. The temperature was 34c
The mechanic was shocked that we have been waiting so long
Amazing and fast service. He was gone in no time
Our day was ruined

Factually incorrect inspection.

Factually incorrect inspection.
2nd inspection requested and confirmed the first inspection was erroneous missing items which would have failed an MOT. I have been bounced from department to department since.

The AA requested I get Estimates for missing items on the inspection - these total over £5,000.

Still waiting to see if they offer any compensation.

Made an appointment for a battery…

Made an appointment for a battery replacement. An appointment was available same day. Harry let me know when he was arriving, he tested my old battery to make sure it needed replacing and checked for other possible faults. He changed the battery and got me to test it before he left. Long hot day, but Harry didn’t rush the job.
