Ive given 4 and not 5 stars, as it took me well over an hour to get someone to acknowledge my breakdown.
However, once Darrell arrived, everything was done quickly and very professionally and I was able to continue my journey.

Speedy response - Jan was with us after 35 minutes, and was really friendly, helpful and communicative, explaining the various things he was trying to work out the cause of our problem, and once fixed stayed while I tested the car thoroughly to make sure it was all OK. Thanks Jan, you were great!

Excellent service. Broke down at roundabout on slip road from M4 heading towards London. Due to high risk, High Road Police arrived within 10 mins, deposited us and car securely onto central roundabout. AA (Naveed) arrived 1.5 hours later. Knew immediately that clutch had broken/failed. Quickly mounted car onto trailer, drove us home and parked car close to our home. Naveed was extremely helpful and efficient, a life-saver.

David Edwards arrived as soon as the car and trailer had been taken off the recovery vehicle.
He at once set to work on our Jaguar to find the fault. After what seemed like no time at all the problem of a loose air intake pipe to the turbo had been found and fixed. I would like to thank him for his prompt diagnosis and cure. He advised me to change the pipe which I will do before I next venture out.

Liam was awesome. He showed up like Superman on a mission within 3 minutes after being told it could take up to 1 and a half hours. He stayed with us on the roundabout where we broke down until delivery of new Tyre and we were back on the road again. Thank you AA. Superb Service for us as NatWest platinum clients. Fabulous service response time very fast. Gary thoroughly checked vehicle and identified issue and despite car needing to have further assistance from a garage he did a temporary fix. Very happy with that. He was very professional and explained in good detail and was patient with all my questions.

A fault on my folding roof not completing its cycle. The AA mechanic attending (Luis) was excellent. It was an early morning call and he arrived slightly early. He was friendly, reassuring and identified the issue and the explained the method to repair. For some reason, the sensor must have reset itself. All good.

Efficient knowledgeable and reassuring

Jacob attended within the specified time slot and was very pleasant. He diagnosed the problem with my car which needed a new battery. He didnt have the correct battery on his vehicle so got on the phone and ordered one. He said he would be back in about half an hour and he was. He then fitted the new battery, no issues. Very happy with his service today.

Reporting incident was very easy. The person I spoke to explained clearly the process and what I should do and gave me an expected time that the AA mechanic would arrive. A follow up call shortly after confirmed the mechanic was on his way with an eta. He changed the wheel in no time and got us out of a dangerous spot and on our way, advising us of what we should do for the remainder of our journey. Thanks

We got stranded on a very busy dual carriageway filled in the app for the breakdown as I was in a dangerous position. It asked me to phone direct in roughly an hour. Aaron came to our rescue. He was extremely polite and professional. Unfortunately the car could not be repaired as the engine had seized but he did tell us 30 miles Home a really lovely guy can’t praise him enough.

Great service from AA and Jason this morning in Devon, got us out of a sticky situation to safety at a service station.

I was kept up to date with the change in time, which for me was not a problem as I was at home.

I really hope no one ever has to experience the same experience me and my boyfriend had from the AA. Our van broke down on the M4 around 6 o clock in the evening. We didn’t get home until 2 in the morning. It took an hour for the AA to come out to check the van, then we got told they didn’t know what was wrong with it. We ended up waiting 4/5 hours and still no van. So we tried to call them which took over an hour to get through to them, when we finally did the only thing the lady was concerned about was trying to upgrade up and sell us things when we were stuck on the side of the busy M4. Then we learnt they’d only just put out for the recovery truck, 5/6 hours after we were told it was going to be done. The highway patrol ended up coming over to see if we were okay and stated that the AA should only take 2 hours max, they were more concerned about us than the AA. We ended up being there from 6pm until 1:30am and not home until 2am after a family member was able to get us. Honestly shocked.

Although I waited for 2 hours I understood it was a very busy day on the roads and I was in a safe location. I was kept informed of the changing recovery time. The main reason for the top marks was for Luke the guy that came to help me. He was relaxed and calm, very personable and filled me with confidence for my onward journey. I can’t thank him enough for his excellent professional help, he made up for the 2 hour wait. He is an absolute credit to the AA
