Started great but after 3 or 4 weeks it was very difficult to contact my case handler for updates.
The medical exam to me was a joke and took only 15 minutes after being cancelled once. My injury wasn't fully understood and I am still suffering.
I was not advised my case handler had left the company which led to further delays.
I eventually accepted the offer due to stress.
It was a young man called Charles when I phoned who moved things to completion.

Do not let your insurer throw you to the Lyons (Davidson).
You have the right to choose your own solicitor; it's that simple.
This company has only one goal; to make money from your insurance company.
My journey began with a paralegal assistant, then progressed to a paralegal who did not track what he had/hadn't asked of me, or of our previous conversations. He was patronising towards me, and made no apology when proved wrong.
I found it strange that the rate for a solicitor (qualified???) was not much higher than that of a paralegal.
In the end I was simply told that Lyons Davidson was unable to help me. This was truly a blessing in disguise.
My interactions with this company were between October 2025 and February 2026.

Personal injury claim I have clear evidence of what happened to me and the object that caused my injury and the expenses that it incurred because it ended up breaking a tooth. Almost a year of discussion between Lyons Davidson and the other party and the other party just simply said we have mechanisms in place to prevent this and they deny responsibility. I've wasted a year of my time with legal insurance that I paid for for an injury that I incurred from an object in a piece of food that I purchased and Lyons Davidson was absolutely incompetent at helping me get compensation for my expenses for the injury that I incurred. Horrible service and rude.

Whilst I have given a 5 * review that is purely in relation to our solicitor Liam Price. Liam has been professional, helpful, forthright and his work ethic serves him very well.
The process of getting to a solicitor under legal assistance is cumbersome and a bit of a saga. Your case is initially assessed by junior staff which was very frustrating as it wasted 6 months and held up a case that was pretty much 'court' ready having been transferred from another experienced solicitor.
Thankfully, once we got to Liam, we moved forward and presented a very robust case to the court. Liam listened, engaged and advised. If I were to be critical of Liam in any way, then I would suggest that there were times when I should have been more involved and copied into correspondence sent to the other side.
Overall, thanks Liam and I wish you very well in your future career.

Had 3 different case handlers
Each time I was not informed of the change ; i had to make contact to find out ( each change causing much delay )
There was considersable dalay in getting a report ( 6 months ) and the standard of the report was exceptionally poor ( eg wrong leg mentioned )
The original assesment of damages was too low
Tia took over and sorted things out , thank goodness!
The report was corrected and estimated damages increased by 80 % and I got regular replies to my questions
Settlement took about 6months longer owing to delays by the previous 2 case handlers

I made a review last time months ago, and this company pretends to be pro active, and that they are actually replies to bad reviews., but in reality like in my case, I been trying to contact my case handler for the last 2 months on any updates but they dont reply , no communication at all. My case are with them for almost a year but until now still not completed. Very slow progress, they reply on your queires.
