My first order with Watches of…

My first order with Watches of Australia and won't be the last. I've been looking for the Maserati Sfida everywhere but wasn't able to find it at a decent price till I found it with these guys. Great cost and package arrived in good condition + very quickly. Did not disappoint.

Watches of Australia is my go to for gifts and occasions. Their customer service is beyond the top, Eric always goes above and beyond to answer my questions and queries. The quality of the watches are super high, looks exactly like the images and my always meets my expectations.

I received my watch today via DHL post, very happy with the product. Got exactly what I saw on the website also satisfied with the way they comminicated regarding the parcel arrival details. It was unfortunate I did face a little trouble earlier with their reponses, but since I received what I ordered for, I am satisfied and a content customer and take back my words and will say they do deliver what you order for, thank you Watches of Australia🙏

However, please know that we receive a high volume of emails and messages each day, and our team is working diligently to respond to each one in a timely manner. We would never ignore our customers on purpose.

However, we wanted to address some of the statements made in your review that we believe are misleading. We have records that show we shipped your order on 30th March, and we were in communication with you throughout the process to ensure your satisfaction. Additionally, you had indicated to us that you were willing to wait for the new stock to arrive..

I am sorry that you feel 'cheated' we are quiet unsure why that is, since we were communicating with you and shipped your order already.

Horrible experience with this company

Horrible experience with this company. I purchased a watch for my partner and it arrived looking like it was never checked before it got shipped. So I sent it back with my own money.

Now, I got the package back but they shipped a different one, same brand but different watch; Did not even ask me to check if it’s fine. Also, they sent me a watch without the actual box, it was put in a box that the watch can barely fit on, it’s like a box for bracelets. It is meant to be a gift but how would I give this if the packaging looks like that. I would rather get a refund than give my partner a watch that looks like I just got from the market because it does not have a proper box.

They we’re communicating really well with me before this last package but now, they just stopped replying to me.

We are very sorry about the entire experience. I deeply apologize that your watch arrived in less than satisfactory condition and that you had to incur additional expenses to return it.

We try our absolute best to reply to all customers on time, as we always face a huge volume of calls, texts and email. However, you writing a review immediately after not receiving a response from us the following day, extremely hurts our business and misrepresents us. Specially, as you mentioned we were communicating really well.

The watch we sent you is the exact watch you ordered. Please check your order confirmation, perhaps you're confused with another model. I also suggest checking the model number against your order confirmation and you will see that it is in-fact the same watch. Additionally, please go through the WhatsApp chat and look at the images you sent us of the old watch, it's the exact same watch.

Up until now we still did not receive any response back from you after confirming that it is the correct watch.

We hope to hear back from you soon.

Not a happy camper

The band on the watch lasted four wears ( six weeks) before it broke. They claim their guarantee doesn’t cover broken watch bands and won’t replace it. Now any normal company would have immediately replace this band and ask for the broken one back so they could take this up with their supplier, not in this case. Also under Australian consumer law we are allowed to expect goods to meet minimal standards and this band has not met this expectation and should be replaced without question. Not a happy camper.

15th Feb - update matter is being escalated to Fair Trading.

After reviewing our warranty policy, we regret to inform you that band damage is not covered under the warranty. The warranty is designed to cover defects in materials and workmanship, and does not extend to damage caused by normal wear and tear, including damage to the band.

We understand your concerns regarding the standards of our products and we are committed to providing high-quality products to our customers. However, in this instance, we are unable to replace the band for you.

However, as mentioned to you previously we are more than happy to provide you a store credit to make up for the experience :)

Watches are NOT Australian stock…

Watches are NOT Australian stock despite being advertised as so. You pay for express postage and then find out that it’s being shipped from the Middle East. whats worse is bank charges you an international transaction fee the following day after payment is made.

We ship via DHL express, which is always a fast and reliable shipping option. You placed your order on the 22nd of Jan, and received the package less than a week.

Furthermore, please be advised that there is no additional fee charged by us. We have only charged you the amount that you have paid for the watch. If you have been charged any additional fees, please contact your bank to get more information.

Refused full refund for faulty watch…

This website sell faulty watches and refuse refunds when requested. Customer service will only offer repair and postage back and forth is at customers expense.

Hi again Lianne, I am very sorry you feel this way. You placed your order on the 26th of November, received it on 1st December. You emailed us on the 25th of December (a month later) that the watch is faulty.

We process refunds if customers received the watch faulty and informed us within 14 days. But you informed us a month later, and we offered to exchange / replace the item but you refused.

As mentioned to you by email and WhatsApp chat, we are more than happy to replace the product for you.

Submitting multiple reviews based on false information and anger really does effect our business. We have a full quality control team that asses each and every package before fulfilment, and I assure you we never sell any faulty watch. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and we're sorry to hear that you didn't have a great experience with us.

Again, we are more than happy to send you a replacement, please get back to us and let us know if you would like to proceed with the replacement or exchange.
