Emerald Ritter have been a tremendous support to us during a recent renovation project. They have helped managed the project from the initial enquiry and survey all the way through to completion of the contract. Rather than communicate through a largely generic E-mail as others did Neil took the time to talk to me on the telephone for over 30 minutes during my initial contact with him regarding a level 3 survey I wished performed on an older property. Post survey, again over the telephone, Neil took me through each of his many findings step by step explaining the significance of each in the context of established best practise. In the event, Neil's explanations guided me to abort the purchase as there were clearly very significant and long term consequences for me had I continued with the purchase.

Having recently used Neil for the second time to survey potential properties, I can confidently say he is a great buildings surveyor. Neil from ERSS is a true shining light in today's world of corner-cutting and sub-standard customer care. Not only did he examine our home-to-be with a fine-tooth comb but he was generous enough to spend time on the phone with me discussing all its 'issues', actual and potential. I feel like I have an in-depth knowledge of the property and a raft of advice from Neil on its upkeep for years to come. On top of that, he was better value than all the other companies I contacted!
