I rented the car for 12 days. According to the rental conditions, the vehicle should be provided with the full tank, but this was not the case.
The car was dirty on the inside, crumbs found in all four doors and I had to hoover the car before I could put my own things in the doors.
The wipers were old and hard, making unpleasant squeaky noise every time they moved. On top of everything, the wash fluid sign was coming on, in need of topping up.
I will definitely consider if I will ever rent a car through the company again.
I have not contacted the company yet, but I am intending to complain.

I have returned my rented car license plate # KK90855 without any damage to Mariott hotel as instructed on Aug 9, 2024.
To my surprise no Carrie representative was there.
Next morning I have received damage report for $327.97.
Same day I have contacted Michal Kwap at the Carwiz desk at Mariott. He couldn’t show to me any proof of damage.
I also spoke by phone and email with Szymon Grych, customer support representative.
Again, no proof of damage was produced.
I believe that this campany use’s unfair business model to cheat theirs customers.

Meant to rent the car from this company in Gdańsk airport, very bad experience, very unhelpful staff , lots of rules which are not existing in any other car rental place , on top of that they expect deposits of 6000 złotych - for car wich is way below average, definitely won’t be using this car rental in Gdansk ever again. Still can’t get over how unhelpful the staff were, this has never happened to us in different places. Shame on you “carwiz”

These guys are horrible, they came late to picked me up at the Cluj Napoca airport and said that my reservation got canceled becuse the courtesy hour was gone. My flight got delay and we arrived tight on time but I called him to pick me up in that courtesy hour
The guy who's name is Daniel Marinel arrived late to charged me again for the reservation.
These business shouldn't be running as they make Romania look as threaten people in front of the tourists.
The sad part is that booking.com who supposed to be a reliable website to book for a rental car does't take actions and allow this dissapointing behavior with their customers.
DO NOT RENT A CAR WITH THEM

Carwiz in Montego Bay, booked through Priceline for the 3rd of August 2024. This was a prepaid booking, months in advance. Two days prior to booking, called to check that all was OK. Three hours prior to arrival from San Francisco, we get a whatsapp message saying they could not provide a vehicle and would cancel the booking and arrange a refund. This was appalling, creating major last minute issues of trying to get a car. They did not reply to messaging and did not arrange a refund. After 3 weeks, still no refund. Avoid this company like the plague as well as avoiding the use of Priceline for any bookings as their service is also extremely bad. They seem to come up with numerous delays of processing a refund, despite being provided with email evidence of the cancellation. Providers like Carwiz give the industry a bad name. Avoid using these "no name " providers because they are all about the charging and profits without any customer responsibility.

They are bunch of thieves.
We returned car in the middle of night in perfect condition. After few hours the send as fake photos of several damages to the car. From the photos you can't tell what car it is at all. No reg nr or milage ,provided. They don't want to talk to me through the phone and don't answer any emails. Extremely unprofessional staff and really rud to.
They charge as £720 extra.
Unbelievable, for sure won't use it again.

THEY FOUND DAMAGED WHICH WERE NOT MINE AND THEY STOLEN MONEY FROM MY CREDIT CARD.
NOW I HAVE TO DO THROUGH DISPUT PROCESS WITH MY BANK TO GET THE MONEY BACK.
I HAVE TRIED THEM ONLY ONCE AND WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

It's been almost a month since I made a reservation from July 8 to 31, 2024, for a vehicle,

The amount is 658€ 54 equivalent of
76,690.50 RSD paid online by credit card on July 1.

When I arrived I signed the document to have the vehicle, the vehicle was not given to me and I was not reimbursed.

I ask for the immediate reimbursement of this amount, otherwise I will be forced to post notices on Google and on other visible platforms to warn your customers during the peak season.

SCAMMERS! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!
Trading under various names(i booked with Carwiz) , i had the worst car hire experience of my life with them! Booked the rental 5 months in advance, I contacted them 2 days prior to my arrival and confirmed the reservation details, arrived in Cluj 50 minutes late due to a Ryanair delay (I contacted the company from London to let them know about the delay), at arrival they ask you to ring them to arrange shuttle transfer which i did straight away, they claimed that it was a “NO SHOW “ and have no car available for me!!! They admitted that they got my message regarding the delay but it is still their company policy. All this over the phone while stranded at the airport and not other available options! The rental agreement doesn’t specify “no show “ terms whatsoever. SHAME THAT CLUJ IS HOME TO SCAMMERS LIKE THESE , AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

And please read all the genuine reviews, you will never book with them! Spend your money with professionals! Leave the amateurs in their little whole on Traian Vuia street 259, phone number 0040747134901 , trading under Premium Rent, Carwiz and others!

This company is a SCAM avoid at all cost
I arrived at the airport expecting to pick up the car that I had booked five days ahead of time, and discovered that this company Holidaycars.com steal the identity of other car hire companies, So as to make the booking look completely legit. They immediately withdraw the money from your account and give you nothing in return. You arrive at the airport expecting to pick up your car, only to discover that there is no car for you. You call the company. In this case it was carwiz.com Only to discover that your booking doesn't exist and be told that it looks like you've been scammed? It amazes me that they have not been shut down. Arrested and put in prison.

Absolute sharks! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM

If you do not take there massively overpriced insurance, they will not rent you a car and they cancel your reservation leaving you stranded.

Understaffed at airport pickup so an incredibly long wait before we were served (& missed a ferry connection).
‘Offered’ an alternative deal of extra cover + empty fuel tank on return (stating fuel was cheaper for them) + reduction in deposit. However did not at any point say how much this would cost (£250!), which included a fuel charge for more petrol than a full tank that the car would hold.

DO NOT...I repeat DO NOT hire a car from these scammers even if they are the cheapest hire company on the planet. You will regret it. I returned one of their hire cars after using it for 10 days in Poland. It had a tiny stone chip on the front bonnet about the size of a grain of salt (which may or may not have already been there when i picked it up) and they charged me 300 euros for the supposed damage. When i asked for them to send me photographs of the car when it was repaired they told me that they wouldn't carry out the repair as the damage wasn't causing a danger to the car. They had already previously downgraded me to a smaller car than the one i thought i had booked when I collected the car, giving me a toyota aygo with a tiny boot instead of the skoda fabia which was listed when i booked the car. This is the worst car hire company I have come across and I will NEVER be tempted to use them again and will warn everyone I ever come into contact with that they should be avoided with a large barge pole. You have been warned..

I paid 360£ when I booked the car (separately from the flights Bucharest) and to my surprise they made pe pay 390€ to insure the car plus 100€ deposit, all this to use the car for 10 days! 10 days!!! 100€ a day for a skoda rapid, never using carwiz again, when you book Ryanair they have another name(direct rent) this company is a big scam. AVOID

Paid for a higher class car, received a lower class car as they said this is their standard and none oath available but for extra cost.
Reserved toddler seats, none available.
Charged me 50 euro for cleaning the car, we were in vacation at the seaside so expected sand and dust, there was none mention in the rental agreement, paid as we didn't want to loose the plain fighting back and forth

on the positive side transfer from and to airport was ok

never will hire from them, what seems cheaper compared with known car rental companys, in the end will be paying same or even more with bad attitude and service

They claim damage and keep the deposit with no evidence, and refuse to call back or release CDW for insurance.

Rented a car in Dubrovnik and never got the deposit back, absolute scam. They don’t pick up the phone nor answer emails.

Worst company ever. Will never use again. First getting the cars went to some flat then a little office so much work to get the car. Then £1200 deposit. Then 259zl to drop it off at the airport. At the airport they want us to just drop the keys with no checking of the cars. Just trust them. Force the person to go over the car. We drove over 1000km in a week then they found the lightest of scratches 1cm and so so light, and want to charge us. Never again. Use a normal company like Hertz or Eurocar. Worst service ever. I was so shocked how bad.

Scammers. Avoid at all costs. I rented a car from carwiz in Antalya Turkey. Its been a month since I returned the car with no issues and got the documents signed and everything in perfect order. They said they would return my security deposit after two weeks. They haven’t. I called them multiple times which they claimed different reasons on each call. There aren’t any problems. The deposit is on its way. We have sent instructions for your deposit. The bank is holding your deposit etc. May I remind you that the deposit 10x the cost of the rental. I will never again rent from any similar company. Avoid at all costs. They also go with the name novacar and ESMEN OTO KIRALAMA A.S..
