Terrible, can’t handle simple payments

Terrible system. I received an invoice from a company using this system, and it doesn’t have my bank in the pay by bank list (Chase) and it doesn’t do anything when I click to pay, despite saying that Apple Pay is ok. I mean, do the basic right - put a field where I can put my card number and etc as a fallback option at lease. How does anyone trust their payment system with this amateurish software?

Excellent paint and team!

By far the best paints around. Amazing colours and the texture is unbeatable. Feels very expensive and exclusive. Remarkable accuracy of colours, which is particularly important for drenching when you are using different finishes for skirting boards, walls and ceilings. Very helpful team in the Mayfair store by the way!

Shambolic products, shambolic services

Fool me once your mistake. Fool me twice, my mistake. Well, I’ve made a mistake by trusting Dyson again. Bought a Gen5 handheld vacuum, which arrived defective - the particle counter doesn’t work. Called Dyson hoping that it would be pain free to get a replacement - wasn’t given the option and instead the operator wanted me to send the machine to their engineers to evaluate it. I’m sorry, in what universe this is how things are done in 2024? You send a (vastly overpriced) faulty machine to someone’s house, apologise profusely and send a new one immediately, then collect the faulty one and find who did the botched quality assurance process to hold them accountable. With that I decided to return the machine, as waiting for some engineer to peruse at the machine to then decide after however long how Dyson wants to solve the problem is beyond unreasonable to state the blatant obvious. Dyson booked a courier to collect the machine today in the morning. Guess what? The courier did not come. Called Dyson, who then had the audacity that despite having booked for the morning the courier could decide to come at any point until 7pm. Opened a complaint, number: 40339474. Given track record of Dyson not getting absolutely anything right I have no hope that it will be even looked into. What a shame, what happened to this company. It used to be such a desired brand and now it’s absolutely shambles. Good thing I found other options. Will probably sell my air purifier so that I don’t have to ever look at this brand again, except when drying my hands in restaurants toilets, which is probably the last market that Dyson is probably borderline acceptable. What a disgrace.

Spam too much and too many calls

Used Wine52 in the past and then cancelled because I don’t drink enough wine. So far so good - the wine was actually fine. But then after cancelling every 6 to 12 months someone calls me to try to sell me wine. The last one was particularly annoying as she phrased it as if I had been selected to get 3 bottles of wine, and then proceeded to say it would cost me £18. Come on - be transparent and don’t waste my time. Also, having hired your service doesn’t mean I’m welcoming you to keep spamming me e-mails and calling me with offers - it is disruptive and annoying.

Amazing windows, sturdy with a great period look. Clear focus on quality, and amazing customer support - there was a minor bit missing in one of the windows and the team sent the item very quickly.

I particularly recommend the Roseview Ultimate, which is the one I had installed.

Terrible product and worse customer service

Bought a Series 8 Dishwasher and the rack started corroding within 3 years. Ordered a replacement part, and not only was charged a fortune for the part (while over the internet the same genuine part was sold cheaper), but also was sent the wrong part instead. The customer service team kept insisting it was the right part until I sent the pictures, and then after realising it was indeed wrong, they don’t have a process to fix it and my case was being sent left and right with no resolution. Until I lost my patience and forced them to give me a refund label and return my money (which is yet to happen).
Forget the fact that the part shouldn’t be corroding in 3 years in the first place, this demonstrate complete lack of care for the customer and inability to fix their own issues. Sending the right part is quite basic, and if the part in the invoice doesn’t match the part sent, a process to redact that should be in place.
I used to be a fan of the brand. Never, ever, again I will buy another product from Bosch or any of its companies in the same group e.g. AEG, Neff, Simens, etc. I’m done. What a shame.

Bad form, pushy and rudeness over the phone

I phoned up Anglian to get a quote for Window replacement. It was possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had when trying to hire a service from someone… surely they must be overflowing with clients so they don’t need to be courteous over the phone. The attendant kept interrupting me and refusing to listen to what I needed, instead trying to force someone to come visit us to provide any information whatsoever.

Well, that made it incredibly easy for me to go and choose a different supplier, for a GBP 10K job.

Wishing Anglian best of luck with customers that put up with that sort of treatment.
