This was a superb response to my request for assistance,the repair to a punctured tyre,after my attempt with an inflater sealant failed.Chris was friendly and proficient in his actions which got me mobile again.Just to mention the call centre staff were very good also handling my call in a proffesional manner also.Many thanks AA.

I didn't have to wait for very long after requesting assistance. The estimated time was accurate and the AA mechanic alerted me to his arrival within 10 minutes. Very friendly and helpful so I had full confidence in what he was saying and doing. I have been an AA member over 30 years and the service has always been excellent whenever I needed assistance, particularly as I am a female usually travelling alone.

Had this weird "Power Failure. Stop carefully" and then after a short drive engine temp started rising.

Tried to check coolant level etc and saw the Crankshaft pulley lying at the bottom of the engine bay.

Called AA for recovery to mechanic near home, who I had discussed the issue with and booked a provisional slot.

AA Mechanic came over and proposed to fix it right there in the car park.

Off the mechanic went to Euro car parts to pick the part up for £167
Luckily the belt was intact and no damage done by the wayward pulley.

Part was installed and off I went to carry on with my day. Cannot appreciate AA Mechanic enough. 5 Star service.

The car is 67 Reg 520 RWD G31 and has done 78k miles. I hope this helps anyone who comes across this issue.

Only had to wait 20 minutes for Patrol Man to arrive.

Disappointed at being "held over a barrel" before even considering to help me, because not having Home Start, and paying, what seems to be an exhorbitant price first. Only had 2 small callouts over numerous years.However the response time was then good and Paul was excellent!

The cover was excellent arrive before time checked car and got it to start dropped me at my garage so new fuel pump could be fitted a very pleasant gentleman thanks

After what I felt was an unprofessional way my call was dealt with I raised a complaint. Today I was contacted by Elliott from the complaints the department who had taken the time to listen to the recordings from my dealing with The AA and made a fair judgement that the operator was correct in what she told me but her manner should have been dealt with in more professional manner. He has found in my favour and arrange a suitable compensation

Prompt arrival, as the young man was already in the area. Friendly efficient service, couldn’t be any better so deserves 5 stars.
