I spoke with Ben from Let Alliance and honestly, his customer service is the reason I decided to take out the policy. When he first called, I had no intention of signing up so soon because I was busy getting ready to go on holiday.
But the way he started the conversation, asking about my day and my holiday, just felt really genuine. It didn’t feel like a typical sales call at all. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and made the whole process comfortable.

EXCELLENT SERVICE: Household content insurance
I recently arranged household contents cover through Let Alliance, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, the service was professional, clear, and genuinely helpful. Insurance can often feel complicated, but the team at Let Alliance made the entire process straightforward and easy to understand.
I was assisted by Benjamin Glaister, who was absolutely outstanding throughout the process. Benjamin was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and patient while guiding me through the available options. He took the time to explain every product in excellent detail, making sure I fully understood what each policy included and how it would benefit me- and I asked a lot of questions. His approach was friendly, transparent, and reassuring, which made a big difference when making the decision. What stood out most was how committed Benjamin was to helping me choose the right product rather than simply trying to make a quick sale.

The final verdict is in ! As always insurance companies do anything not to pay
The final verdict is in. Let Alliance insurance would not cover the missing rent arrears when my tenants skipped without paying. The insurance is specially for rent protection - this is how it was sold and this is what I paid for. However, like all insurance companies the devil is in the detail (very fine detail they do not want you to see and they bombard you with lots of final decision paperwork, clauses etc....) and they will do anything not to pay out. I have yet to come across any insurance company worth the premiums except Pet Plan and Direct Line).My advice - skip their rent protection by this company, protect yourselves and put the premium money you would pay to one side to cover your own costs, or go see what Direct Line have to offer! Otherwise you lose twice over, when the tenants don't pay and when the rent protection insurance won't pay. Policy not worth the paper it is written on.

I normally don't do reviews but I spoke with Ben about insuring my future home and he's an absolutely great guy. I loved his 'simple and to the point' yet in-depth and clear explanation of everything provided to me with an odd joke in between that made it feel like I am speaking to a human looking after a human. 10/10 service received mate, you're great at your job.
