A year ago, I paid for “3 premium drawing tips every week, absolutely free, for life.” This clearly implied a one-time payment. Without any warning, reminder, or communication, $89 has now... See more

AVOID - they are cheating

First offering one online class for 10USD, a year later charging 89USD without any announcement of renewal. It took me 20 minutes to find unsubscribe option. The page is designed that way, it is almost impossible to find Account section. Pages likes this should be banned.

Scam

Scam! They get you to sign up for 10 dollars than in a years time when you forget they charge you $89 and won't even have the decency to refund you when you ask for one. The products are trash. The art sucks and you can find way better resources for free on YouTube. Or from companies with integrity like Proko, Schoolism, NMA, and many more. Avoid supporting greedy, selfish, money-hungry, scheming artist like this bum. I hope those $89 go a long way you greedy bummy artist.

They have predetory subscription…

They have predetory subscription renewals. They get you in at a cheap price and then they renew the subscription without any warning at 10X the price. THen hwen you reach out for a refund, they simply say "Sorry, thats not our policy". I contacted them within a few days of the renewal telling them if I had been warned I would have cancelled and I had not logged in and they just said. Sorry, we don't do that and then they offered an upsell for another $197 product.

Be careful with the 90% discount at full price for new members. I signed up paying $10 and completely forgot to cancel this service. I was charged for $100 a year later. Not worth the money! Just another internet scam.

It's all about repetition.

It's all about repetition.
TFC comprises several workbooks which can be downloaded as PDFs or online.
The key is to follow the exercises ad nauseam until your hand is nice and loose.
The idea is rather simple and if you keep at it, you'll start drawing faster.
As far as the controversy, the pricing is a bit weird and might be disingenuous. That being said, you can download the workbooks and then cancel if you like. I paid for the full suite and I found it a bit short of the promised quality. I would stick with the basic workbooks if I were you.
Also, there are a ton of typos.

Same experience as others here. I accepted the offer of Lifetime Membership with the guarantee I would never be charged anything in future. I have made sure with my automatic payments that this company will not be allowed any more money from me. Webpage is in Spanish but at bottom of page click on English. So that seems to have sorted things out.

Same as everyone else

Same as everyone else. I paid 10$ snd got charged later 89$.

Immediately before even asking for a refund they sent me a big bogus email on policy of no refunds. How do we all get our money back?

They are snakes just as I called them in my email which got no reply. They hide in the grass and can't run a real business

Scam!

Hi, training for comics is a scam. I was just checking it out for 10$, did nothing with it and thought nothing of it. Then a year later I got charged 89$, just like the previous reviewer. I asked for a refund 10 mins after getting charged and was told that that their policy is not to issue refunds, and then proceeded to inform me how much of a deal I am getting, and even tried to push their VIP lifetime program. Absolutely unacceptable and I feel utterly scammed!
