The service was good, however, I wasn’t notified when they kept my car overnight. I was very worried as I was told the car will be returned on the same day.

Really easy to book through the AA app. Car picked up and returned, which meant I could use the service while at work. Good communication.

The booking process is simple and fast, there are a few options of service garages. I had requested that my car be collected which is very convenient as it is less disruptive to my work day.
On this occasion the garage had an issue and had contacted me to see if I could bring my car in,for which we arranged a time first thing in the morning.
Problem was in attempting to update the booking on their side, AA smart care ended up sending me a cancellation email the evening before my service was due. This happened without any attempts to contact me and since their phone lines only opened after my arrange service time, it left me in a position of stress for the whole evening and next morning (seeing as making a new booking would have gone beyond my MOT expiry date).

In the end I was able to get my service and AA smart care corrected their mistake. Can't complain about the car service and the price I received through AA smart care for MOT with a service was very reasonable.

Was a very easy process from start to finish i had no problems with the garage my car was sorted within a few hours.

2 hours for a simple MOT. Unexceptable. People were present but totally unresponsive.

It was quickly and professionally dealt with at our home.

It was easy to book with good communication. However the garage that was used to carry out the MOT were not great at explaining what needed to be done and no offer to do the work required to get my car to pass the MOT. I found them to be abrupt and dismissive.
I have found a different place to use for repairs MOT recommended by a friend. I thought that I would be I good hands with the AA but that was not the case.

First time doing an MOT and first impressions everyone was very friendly and welcoming, gave me a rundown on what they do and offered me tea. Lovely people defo recommend

My first and last service with them. I have been charged £270 just for replacing a rubber (offside anti roll bar dust cover). When asked to explain they simply said it’s the labour that’s costly and did not provide a proper breakdown of the cost on the invoice either.
Their service to pick and drop the car is just to lure you which also has a hidden cost.

I booked a Mot and service. They failed it on the Mot but still carried out the service anyway without informing me of the failure before continuing. I am now having to scrap the car because of the repairs being too expensive but still have to pay for the service. Further to your reply I didn’t hear from the team all I got was a telephone call from the garage to say it had been serviced and failed the MOT on several things.

Efficient and friendly

No reply to my concerns that the wrong mileage was recorded on my MOT.

Everything went to plan, good customer service & had my car back to me even earlier than expected ✔️

Poor experience.

Just a faff to be honest. Slow process as it’s a 3 way conversation- the garage called me to ask if I’d heard from AA Smart Care as they were awaiting instructions for work that they had recommended. So I then had to call AA to ask what was happening. The garage closed at 5.30pm (luckily I had already picked my car up) because AA didn’t email me until 7pm to say my car was ready for collection. I wouldn’t use AA Smart Care again I would go to the garage directly.
