Disappointed with this service at home. Have not used it before, usually use a local garage but thought I would try this as they were offering £40 off for members for a short time. There was a mess up with the booking for a start, I booked for Tuesday 18th August, this was on the 6th I think, then an email came saying it was the next day! I had trouble getting hold of anybody on the phone, eventually got through on the complaints line at a 2nd attempt. Sorted date out. Came yesterday, he only seemed to change the oil and filters, according to the rac lights should be checked, I don't think he did that but as had mot done 5 days earlier I was not too bothered about that. He took it out for a short drive, presumably to check brakes. Now on my full services at the local garage I have used, the wheels are removed, brake pad and brake disc wear are checked. Why is this not checked on their service? Cost was £288.48 with the discount, I have paid over £300 at the garage but that included an MOT as well. I don't think I will use them again.

Magic was the RAC man who came to install an auxiliary belt. He rang me the day before to confirm details and schedule a time to visit. He came on time and repaired the car as per instruction. Very polite, friendly and professional young man. I would highly recommend using the RAC motor repair service

Peter was on time very efficient and pleasant all very good and we saved 100 on main dealer price also 150 on Halfords price. Will certainly use service again when rear brakes need disks replaced.
