It is an obvious digital Del-boy scam
It is an obvious digital Del-boy scam. But what amazes me is that Companies House and the UK Govt do not do anything to close it down as it is clearly passing off as a part of 'Govt.uk'. If this happened in any EU country it would be shut down immediately - that is what EU did for UK - protect its citizens. Article for Panorama for PI or ST investigation? I think I may send them a short note..😉
Scam after new company registration
I registerd a company via Tide. I then recieved a whole bunch of junk mail, including from accountancy services, Monzo and this company.
The letter recieved says:
NOTICE: Confirm Your Company Details & Activate Secure Vault
They use the URL: company-registry/activate-gov
(URL is edited to allo this review to be posted)
Using gov to misslead you into thinking this is official.
They then demand a payment of £115.00 implying your company will not be "activated" without.
In the small proint it tells you: This is a solicitation for your business and has no affiliation with government organisations.
No need to pay this
No need to pay this. Just a company attempting to scam you of £47
Just read the comments below.
Massive SCAM
