Scam letter

Opened a new Ltd co and received a letter from these scammers. They are relying on people not reading the (very) small print that it is an optional service, but at first glance it appears very official from the government service that you need to register for. You do not need their services, hence why they try to pretend that they part of the government.

There's something fundamentally wrong…

There's something fundamentally wrong with the brain behind this potentially brilliant company.

The idea is good in that they claim to help you organize your documents and send you notifications - as a business owner, I know how difficult document organization can be.

However, this company's leadership is downright faulty, you could see it through the letters they send to addresses. It screams arrogance, suffocation, and a terrible culture.

The letters come in and poses to be a follow-on of the company registration. The content of the letter itself sounds as though until you activate your account and pay, you business is not functional. If you are a newbie, that would scare you into following through.

That said, the tone of voice of the letter is sickening, unfriendly, and serves as a deterrent to even do business with them. The faint, near-invisible footer notes where they put a disclaimer is so badly written and has subtle scares to it.

So many faults in a single letter - shameful, distasteful, and disappointing. Rework your leadership and marketing strategies, your company may earn some trust afterwards.

SCAM - DO NOT PAY

Unbelievably arrogant and rude attempt to obtain money from newly set up companies.
Really can't believe that this can happen in the UK and this 'service provider' hasn't been shut down yet for trying to scam people.
Received a letter that looked like I am obliged to (must) make that payment.
Do not fall for it, this is not a government organisation but just a business trying to look like it is related to the government and make people pay them money for their so colled services...
This is clearly a SCAM. DO NOT PAY anything unless you really think you need their services.

Hi - just to be clear we are NOT a scam, we have NOTHING to do with incorporating a company using your name or address. The letter clearly states we are an optional service and it’s a solicitation for your business. We offer a legitimate service providing business owners with a secure storage vault, digital business cards, SMS tax filing reminders and more!

SCAM!!

SCAM!!! They even called me asking where to send the letter, trying to get more information from me. Then followed by 100 calls from electricity and mobile phone, all with Indian accents. I had to put my phone on silent due to the amount of spam calls.

Hi Aldrin, just to be absolutely clear we do NOT call anyone as we do NOT have access to your phone number. Whatever experience you've had is nothing to do with Company Registry. The letter you received clearly states "Not affiliated with any government agency. This is a solicitation for your business". Any spam calls you are getting are from a completely different service.

SCAMMERS

No return address on the letter, company, VAT or other details. Alarm bells ringing.

What protection can they offer? ZERO.

We own the web domain, company and trade mark already. These guys are complete scammers.

£155 for activation dues, less £86.00 for COVID-19 / Business Relief and you end up with £47.00.

Again a complete scam.

All of the the 5 star reviews are written by fake accounts by people who have only written one review.

Contact Action Fraud if you receive one of these scam letters.

This is not a scam website

This is not a scam site as I posted before. After contacting them, I was contacted by a very pleasant man who refunded my money promptly, explained the misunderstanding and thanked me for my time. I am happy that this is a genuine site which offers a service to business. I was so impressed with their attitude that I dedcided to continue with my purchase.
