Scam letter
Opened a new Ltd co and received a letter from these scammers. They are relying on people not reading the (very) small print that it is an optional service, but at first glance it appears very official from the government service that you need to register for. You do not need their services, hence why they try to pretend that they part of the government.
almost paid £47 to this scam.
almost paid £47 to this scam.
letter shows 3 steps 1 to visit websire 2 to active account 3 to pay to secure account. Also mentioned in the letter is that "your company registry account is currently in pending/unclaimed status. There's something fundamentally wrong…
There's something fundamentally wrong with the brain behind this potentially brilliant company.
The idea is good in that they claim to help you organize your documents and send you notifications - as a business owner, I know how difficult document organization can be.
However, this company's leadership is downright faulty, you could see it through the letters they send to addresses. It screams arrogance, suffocation, and a terrible culture.
The letters come in and poses to be a follow-on of the company registration. The content of the letter itself sounds as though until you activate your account and pay, you business is not functional. If you are a newbie, that would scare you into following through.
That said, the tone of voice of the letter is sickening, unfriendly, and serves as a deterrent to even do business with them. The faint, near-invisible footer notes where they put a disclaimer is so badly written and has subtle scares to it.
So many faults in a single letter - shameful, distasteful, and disappointing. Rework your leadership and marketing strategies, your company may earn some trust afterwards.
I received this letter and this is just…
I received this letter and this is just a scammer who’s trying to steal people’s money
SCAM - DO NOT PAY
Unbelievably arrogant and rude attempt to obtain money from newly set up companies.
Really can't believe that this can happen in the UK and this 'service provider' hasn't been shut down yet for trying to scam people.
Received a letter that looked like I am obliged to (must) make that payment.
Do not fall for it, this is not a government organisation but just a business trying to look like it is related to the government and make people pay them money for their so colled services...
This is clearly a SCAM. DO NOT PAY anything unless you really think you need their services.

I am happy that this is a genuine site which offers a service to business. I was so impressed with their attitude that I dedcided to continue with my purchase.
