Off to Great Start

Have had my new grill for couple months now and things are going great. Customer service got back to me quick during initial setup (brain fart on my part) and were gracious and helpful. Grill is built solid and the fam is asking me to grill out more than they did when I cooked off propane.

Great product and value for money!

I've had this grill for little over a year.

In this time, i've put the grill through it's paces.

Food prep for work lunches, Cooks for family events. The smoker has delivered each and every time.

Today, on mothers day (2025) i had an issue where by i needed to contact customer support.

The customer service dwarfed the excellence of the smoker it's self. i was contacted, given verbal instructions on how to fix my issue.

The grill and customer service, continue to be outstanding.

wifi app sucks, customer service sucks, if you buy from them you are on your own dont trust there reviews probably in house reviews, face book is just them posting things that there employees do no help if you purchase good luck

Just bought my second Zgrill and am…

Just bought my second Zgrill and am very happy with it. The first one was about 5 years old and still running great. (Only had to replace the internal probe in 5yrs). The only reason I decided to upgrade was to get more grilling space! I am extremely happy with the length of time I get out of these grills for the price I paid.

Do not buy from this shady company

Do not buy from this shady company! I just purchased their 600D3E and received the 2021 version of that model. How?? I contacted their customer support 3x and after sending all of the pictures and documentation to them, they basically told me to return it and they weren't doing anything about it. I had no idea that this version still existed in 2025. I feel like I've been part of a bait & switch program by Z Grills. I would also like to add that they advertise a 3 year warranty with their smokers and the fine print says the warranty starts on the date of manufacturer so they basically sent me a smoker that is out of warranty.

So far so good

So far so good! Assembled and seasoned the grill and did my first cook today. Chicken thighs and drummies… Cooked at 300 degrees, just a slight smokey flavor, will try low and slow on the next go around to draw more smoke. Can’t wait to cook pork shoulders next!

Quality smokers and reasonable prices

I love my Zgrill smoker and just bought my second one. Zgrill is a quality smoker that is well built and has performed beyond my expectations. I have already upgraded to a larger model after a year of awesome smoking. Customer service has been great and the smokers have been shipped quickly and securely. The quality of the smoked food I’ve been able to make rivals the food friends with much more expensive smokers makes. Can’t go wrong with a Zgrill.

Won't give me a refund!

I ordered a grill from Z-grill about two weeks ago and decided to return it the day after I opened it because I discovered they shipped a different model than I ordered on Facebook. Since they have a 30 day return policy with a free return shipping label, I decided to send it back since I didn't order this cheaper model! I have called and spoken with the customer service 4 times and they were always very nice but would always say that they will need to have a manager approve it and they will send an email back to me with approval within 24 hrs. It has never happened!!! I have called them 4 times and also emailed them but they won't refund me or return my messages saying that they will refund me. From what I have seen so far, they are NOT holding up their refund policy and I am running out of time to return the grill. I would not recommend purchasing from Z-grills and find another company that has better customer service and reputable. I will update this if they ever get back with me now that it is on Trustpilot. UPDATE: At first I gave them a 1 star but now after writing a review, they responded back and are giving me a full refund with a prepaid shipping label as long as I pay a restocking fee. Since they are taking care of me, I ordered the correct one again so hopefully I receive the right one this time so I can get smoking!

First Pellet Grille

The Z-Grille was easy to set up and get started. Used it for the first time on Saturday and smoked chicken to perfection. Was moist and juicy. My wifi pit module came in so after I install it looking forward to smoking all sorts of meats.

For my first time trying out my new Z grill I was willing to smoke some burgers. I was super excited to see how it would turn out. I was 100% satisfied with my purchase the burgers turned out amazing and everyone kept wanting more. Can't wait to try a brisket on this bad boy.

Easy process from order to burn in

The grill was easy to set up I added the wifi pid module and added the android app to the phone very simple to set it up and started the burn in process. At the top setting the grill did almost hit 500 degrees back it down and it held temp well for the rest of the process. Then we made some smokes peperoni pizza slices.

ZGrill Smoker + Smoke Tube = Pork Roast Perfection

Tried out my ZGrill smoker with a pork roast this weekend and added a new smoke tube packed with hickory and mesquite chips—game changer. The smoker held temp like a pro, and the extra smoke from the tube gave the roast a deep, rich flavor without being overpowering.

The bark was spot-on, and the meat was super tender and juicy. Cleanup was easy too. Honestly, the combo of the ZGrill and smoke tube took things to the next level. Definitely doing this again.

Extremely Disappointed – Poor Quality and False Hype

I purchased a Z Grills Mystery Box in March 2025 and couldn’t be more disappointed. What I received was cheaply made, arrived covered in leaking oil, and completely ruined my carpet. The product was wrapped in a plastic bag soaked in oil that had seeped through the box — a total mess.

Beyond the packaging disaster, the grill itself is low quality. The hard plastic components feel effortless and flimsy. It burns through pellets in less than 4 hours and doesn’t hold temperature consistently, making it unreliable for any real grilling or smoking.

This was not only a waste of money, but also a huge hassle. Definitely not the exciting surprise Z Grills promised. I won’t be buying from them again.

I bought a Z Grill after my Traeger…

I bought a Z Grill after my Traeger quit working. I found it easy enough to put together and easier to use. The thing I like the best is how the consistent it performs on every cook I have done. The performance is much better than any other equipment I had previously.

I bought 700D4E and it is very versatile. I make ribs, chicken, tri-tip, pizza, and prime rib. Every different entree has turned out very well. This brand is the best value for the money. In fact, I'm going to upgrade my control panel so I have WiFi capability going forward.

700D4E WiFi

I bought the new 700D4E WiFi, built it, hooked it up to WiFi, and everything works great. I am able to do almost everything I need to run the grill from the app, and have had no problems with connectivity. There is plenty of room to make anything I need to cook. The cabinet is awesome, so now I can keep my extra pellets and tools out of sight. Came with a very nice cover. Holds temp extremely well, and I live in the PNW and it is not summer yet. Barely used any pellets and I first smoked some wings for 30 minutes, then crisped them at high temp for about an hour.
