I had several shipping issues when I purchased my grill. The grill showed up severely damaged, but customer service was so helpful and friendly. They sent the parts I needed quickly to get me grilling. The process was very easy and the staff was knowledgeable about the process.

The product itself is great. Very simple and easy to use. I have zero complaints about it and have used it many times this summer without any issues.

I've had my grill and used it many times this past summer. It's always worked every time. It helps to keep the grill clean! There are tips online how to do that.
The only thing that I didn't love was that it didn't come with the temperature controller that had ports for the meat thermometer. Knowing the internal temperature of your meat is critical, so I think ALL grills should be sold with that. I bought from Zgrills and installed one that has two ports, and I love it having two meat thermometers monitoring the meat's internal temperature.

Zgrills is very easy to work with. I got my grill just as stated and assembly was easy.

Placing the order was a breeze! The item arrived on time and looks great — you can tell it's well made. The grill portion feels sturdy, though the stand seemed a bit lightweight and flimsy.

I joined the Zgrills Crowdfunding plan in May of this year. I ordered the 700D4E Model and it arrived in about a week. The shipment was well packaged and it was very easy to assemble. I'm new to using a pellet smoker and find it very easy to use. I'm thoroughly enjoying my new smoking experiences! Very happy with the product and the customer service team. I'm very much looking forward to getting a new smoker every 5 years. Plus even though I'm retired, I can transfer my plan over to family or friends.

fast and simple love having grills for rest of my life. easy to put together just a little heavy if you struggle you may need help. it works great easy on easy off. easy temp easy smoke. use mostly as grill works great not allot of smoke if you dont like that like i do its not overpowering. use foil under grates for easy clean up.. love it would definitely say go for it...

This is my second z grills I love the brand and I'll continue loving it the only issue I had was the fact that FedEx stinks at their job the box came with a couple holes in it but luckily enough the girl wasn't damaged due to the magnificent packing job your staff does, keep up the great work

I bought my smoker through their bonus 5yr program. I have had nothing but good experiences with mine. From assembly on, it has produced nothing but smiles. My WiFi is sometimes a bit off, but that’s just a lazy feature to have anyways. I’d buy this smoker again and again!

I’ve had ZGrills for several yrs and love them. I just signed up for the 777 special. I am looking forward to having a Z grill for many more years now.

The delivery was exceptional. It was less than a week . Assembly was quick . My 18 yr old daughter helped me with that. The determining factor for getting the grill was from several of my friends having one and making some exceptional food .

The purchase was easy, shipping was quick, and the overall experience was great. I have always been a traditional "stick burner" when it comes to smoking meat, but this smoker/grill has completely changed my approach. It is simple to use and works amazingly well. Definitely worth the price.

I was excited to receive my new Z Grills 1025B smoker. Assembly was a little challenging at first, but the instructions were clear enough that with patience, everything came together nicely.

So far, I’ve cooked on it at least six or seven times—everything from pork shoulders and spare ribs to a whole turkey. Compared to my Traeger, I found the grill on the Z Grills cooked a bit faster, which meant I had to rotate the meat during longer cooks to ensure even results. After a few tweaks to my cooking routine, the smoker performed very well, and I was pleased with the results every time.

Some standout features I really enjoy are the large hopper, which holds plenty of pellets for long cooks, and the Bluetooth capability that allows me to monitor and adjust from my phone. I even tried an overnight pork roast, and it came out excellent the next morning—tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

Overall, this is an excellent grill that fits my needs perfectly. The combination of cooking performance, convenience, and the peace of mind of knowing I’ll have the option to I will receive a new one every five years made this smoker a great purchase for me.

I purchased the 7002C2E back in July 2025. Assembly was easy and the construction is top notch. I have used it several times since including a 14 hour cook. It performs flawlessly! You definitely can’t go wrong with Z-Grills! Do yourself a favor and pull the trigger!

Very happy with Z-Grill has my first choice of pellet smoker. Easy “set it and forget it” usage. I vacuum the ash from the previous use, fill the hooper with pellets. While it preheats I get my meat together and that’s it. I’ve done chicken, ribs, tri-tip, Picanha, turkey breast and burgers, which by the way were the best burgers I’ve ever grilled! Now I wish I would have purchased one of the larger models

I purchased this smoker and literally with my first smoke the temperature would not regulate. The smoker would run hot. I contacted the company and they sent out a new control panel and probe.This did not work, they sent me a probe again which did not help. They wanted pictures of how I installed these components which I sent them. They sent me another control panel which was for a completely different model. All I want at this point is the whole hopper unit. Why with a brand new smoker should I be rebuilding it?

Final update(7/28/2025): Zgrills has responded and asked lots of questions for me to answer, which I have. Unforutunately, that all they were able to do: ask questions and not offer any solutions. So I finally decided to replace the fan for the burner. This did the trick. So if you have trouble with your grill getting up to the set temperature, try replacing the blower fan.

Update: I finally DID hear from them (once they got my sour review here). We did some back and forth troubleshooting and the problem still persists. They "escalated" my issure to their technical team. I haven't heard a word back from anyone for several weeks now. I stand by my first assessment: Great until you need help with it.

I've got a Z700D grill and have had it for about 4 years. As things have stopped working, I've replaced parts. I'm very handy and can troubleshoot most electrical faults. Lately, my grill won't heat above 325 degrees F. I went on their chat support and have been waiting for 3 hours and no one has even responded yet. I'm NOT impressed with their response time. I called and I only am able to leave a message.

I have had my Zgrills smoker for a few years now. Hundreds of Lbs of meat been through the grill. Many many delicious dinners served.
I had an issue with my temperature probe not reading properly, I contacted the company and they had a new probe sent out. changing the probe was easy and now everything is working fine again. Will definitely buy another Zgrill in the far future when this one is completely worn out (hopefully 10yr down the road)

Initially I started out frustrated with getting connected to WiFi. The setup was a bit different than expected. I reached out to Zgrill support and got a reply right away. I did what was shared in detail and was connected in 5 minutes or less.
The app works as expected and is easy to use. Thank you Zgrill. Awesome budget friendly backyard smoker. The only con for me is not getting one sooner.

I have owned a ZGrill for almost 7 years now. Never an issue! Love the product so much I just ordered a upgraded model.
