I rarely leave negative reviews, but after four months of trying to resolve a simple issue with Wayfair, this experience deserves to be shared.
We have been trying to obtain a replacement tabletop and had finally reached a manager who opened a case and told us we would be connected with the manufacturer. Wayfair even emailed us a case number confirming this. After hearing nothing back, we called to follow up.
We asked to speak with a manager and were eventually transferred to someone named Noah. Unfortunately, the conversation went downhill immediately. His tone was condescending, dismissive, and unprofessional from the start.
Despite us providing the case number that Wayfair itself had emailed, he repeatedly insisted that he could not find the case. Rather than trying to investigate, verify the information, or help move things forward, he simply repeated that he couldn't see it. When we asked for the issue to be escalated, he refused, stating that he was effectively the final level of escalation and that we would have to call customer service again—sending us back to the very beginning after months of trying to resolve this issue.
What was most frustrating wasn't that he couldn't immediately locate the case; it was his complete unwillingness to help, investigate, or take ownership of the problem. There was no empathy, no attempt to understand the situation, and no effort to find a solution.
After four months of back-and-forth, this level of customer service is unacceptable. Wayfair sells premium-priced products, but customer support should reflect those prices. Instead, we were left feeling dismissed and stuck in an endless loop with no path to resolution.
Unless this experience is an exception rather than the norm, I will seriously reconsider purchasing from Wayfair in the future. I also hope someone from Wayfair's senior customer experience team reviews how escalations are handled, because customers should not have to fight this hard just to receive basic assistance.

Purchased a new tv stand and after a week of waiting, the TV stand came falling out of the box. its 70lbs of trash sitting by my door. All panels are destroyed with broken wood pieces inside, no instructions on assembly and get this.. an AMAZON Return label that a customer had ripped off an amazon return sheet. Unbelievable. Just how low has Wayfair gotten.. I can barely believe my eyes.

A very disappointing experience from Wayfair. We bought a light fixture from them, after installation we cearly realised that this Chinese imported product doesn't comply with the Northern America health and safety standard. I raised it to Wayfair and they expected us to pay for the return shipment cost for the return.

Lost the same order twice. Dealing with this inefficient and incompetent company is stressful, time consuming and costly. Don't buy from this vendor

I had a problem with the couch that I ordered. Wayfair resolved the issue quickly. I had an amazing experience overall ordering from them.

I cancelled an order immediately and tried to cancel. They responded that they would let me know if the cancellation had gone through within 24 hours. In a few hours they told me the product had already shipped (yeah, sure) and now I will need to go jump through hoops to ship it back. Horror show - wish I had read these reviews first.

This is a complete scam. It should be completely banned permanently in Canada. This is how they steal thousands of dollars with 0 accountability.
Please report and lets ban this scam. I paid close to 1.000$ and waiting for months nothing being delivered.

Wayfair is now using AI bots for their customer service. It is such a generic experience and very unhelpful. I won't shop at a business where I cannot talk to a person at all to solve an issue. Their agents used to be very helpful (and human) but no longer. Will never shop there again. Also my delivery was sent to the wrong address (which I can see from the delivery picture)and I have to wait 3 days for it to be resolved - ridulous.

Wayfair is a joke. This is what you get when you're dealing with just a drop shipper. Long lead times, no guarantee of stock, and zero control over shipments and delivery. Hop on a call with customer service and you will get nothing but AI generated or canned responses from their overseas call centres. There is no accountability and my trust as a customer is lost.

don't bother ordering from Wayfair, they will not hit any of their delivery targets. Even when they confirm delivery the day before, they'll cancel.

They never refunded my money for a returned car perch. I am out $197.11. It was delivered on May 22nd but I refused delivery because I had found better item. The delivery driver had his supervisor with him and he pulled up the information on his electronic manifest and I signed. I thought it was sorted out. I talked to one of those virtual chatters - and how useless are they! - and he said he saw no order for a cat perch. Their insincerity is gobsmacking!

My experience with Wayfair Canada delivery service has been horrible not to say the least. One of the main issues when ordering items online with Wayfair Canada is that they don't run their own freight shipments self delivery service like Amazon, but rather deal with independant freight shipments firms such as UPS, FedEx... Therefore if any confusion, communication errors when managing your order happen at any stage, once your order is sent independant freight shipments firms for shipping, then Wayfair Canada has relatively no control on delivery tracking afterwards. Therefore if an assembly furniture part package is missing, lost or even mistakenly kept delayed at some US state border custom for any given founded reason, thus not delivered at your home address within their claimed expected delivery time, some agents may even claim it ain't their responsibility and rather to contact the independent freight shipment firm. Sorry but when we order any item online from Wayfair Canada, we assume they will fulfill all responsibilities including shipment delivery and tracking so that all needed order parts will be delivered. I have ordered a section leather sofa more than 2 months ago. I first received an email confirming message claiming all the needed furniture assembly parts were being shipped and would be delivered in several packages shipments within a given time period. While I managed to get most parts after several phone calls, I then soon realized 4 cushions (2 Headrest + 2 Waist Pillow with each their included leather cover) were missing and still had not been delivered. I therefore called to report them to sales support agents. I then had to make several calls at this stage and they haven't still been delivered after 2 whole months now close to 3 months. An agent I first talked to, claimed not to worry and that she had filed a special request and that missing sofa cushions would be delivered by June 4th, though she lied as it never got delivered. I then made other phone calls and finally reached another agent, who managed to track the delivery location and noticed me it was hold for no given reason at some New-Jersey US custom, though he couldn't explain why it landed there nor when nor how it could get out of there so it could get delivered. He apologized and told me again he would file another special request so 4 missing cushions would be delivered in a relatively short period of time. He also sent me a 10% rebate I could claim on further orders, though in the given actual given context, I doubt I'll ever order anything from Wayfair Canada again. I then received another email on following days announcing shipment had been delayed without giving any further details. So I made another call for follow-up and request a new shipment. A last agent I spoke to finally admitted shipment had not been shipped to Canada and was shipped and still stocked at a US Custom border somewhere in New-Jersey for no explained reasons. I then asked if it was possible to file a new complete request to send me my missing cushions in a new shipment with another shipment firm. He finally told me it was impossible right now as requested missing cushions were actually out of stock!!. He then added he couldn't confirm a date but expected new ones may arrive by the end of the month. I finally reminded him that since full items delivery had not been completed after past 2 whole months, and since I already fully paid for a leather sofa, I would claim for a total money refund. Bottom line is Wayfair Canada shouldn't advertise items if they're unable to sell it and mostly cannot fully deliver items within given period of time. So you've been warned folks! Wayfair Canada delivery service is horrible and untrustable and therefore should be avoided. Otherwise you may end up with reluctant frustrations.

Read the reviews and DON'T buy from Wayfair. It has been a frustrating fiasco. We ordered a patio furniture set and waited one month before all the pieces arrived and they got the order wrong. Now we are trying to return three huge 90 pound boxes and navigate poor customer service. We will NEVER order from Wayfair again and learned a valuable lesson to shop local.

Ordered a table from Wayfair. It arrived, but the silver pedestal had scratches and multiple damaged spots. After reviewing the photos showing the damage, Wayfair stated that the support was stable and that it was unlikely to lose its strength. I found this response appalling, as it suggested keeping a rusty and scratched product. After multiple emails and days , Wayfair agreed to send a replacement. According to my communication and order review, the replacement was delivered although not to my address. It appears to have been delivered to a different city and even a different country. This situation is unbelievable and extremely disappointing.

I found 4 tables I wanted to purchase for my club, set up a professional account and received an email from my “dedicated point of contact”. I replied immediately and asked for assistance to complete the sale. I did not hear back so wrote later that same day. The reply said that unwound get a response within one hour. The next day I tried to complete the sale on my own but the price had risen by almost $50 an item. I chatted with the agent and they told me that Wayfair uses dynamic pricing- like airlines or tickets to a concert. I am disappointed in this company and won’t be back. Very poor customer service despite promises:
“Transparent Quotes & Price Locks: Get clear, detailed quotes with 30-day price locks to simplify your budgeting and planning.
Project Management Support: From start to finish, I’ll be available to guide you through timelines, sourcing, and supplier coordination.”

If I could give a negative rating I would. I ordered a TV stand that was advertised as fully assembled. It came in an 80 pound box left in the driveway and had to be assembled. I’m 60 with mobility issues so that’s a big deal. It was damaged and when I tried to report a problem through the website, you get to the last step where it says, how do you want to contact us but they don’t give any options in the continue button is disabled.

I am giving a 3 out of 5-star rating because, despite the issues I experienced, the second representative I spoke with was exceptionally kind, professional, and helpful. I also appreciate that the company honored its commitment regarding the refund, and I ultimately received my complete sofa as promised.
These actions have helped restore some of my confidence in the company and make me more willing to consider purchasing from them again in the future. However, there is clearly a need for significant improvement in the handling and management of shipments and packages, as this was the main source of inconvenience throughout my experience.
Overall, I appreciate the efforts made to resolve the situation, but I strongly encourage the company to address and improve its delivery and package management processes.

I'm beyond pissed.i purchased a rug and some pop up appeared about a points plan. I thought I had closed the page and dismissed it till I received my bill where they charged me an extra 40$ for this points dollar program. So I called to have it canceled but all the guy could offer was a 10% discount on my next purchase....I was able to cancel this subscription for the futur but they literally won't give me back my 40$ dollars. I don't want a stupid points program that will force me to keep spending. And I can't find anything on their site or through their customer contact to write to them. Order #4690057075
