I cannot praise this practice, highly, enough.

We were checked in quickly and dealt with by a very friendly, helpful team. As we were handing over our very poorly nine week old border terrier puppy we were naturally very anxious; however, vet Lionel made us feel very much at ease and treated little Henry with real care. Cannot thank the team enough for helping to fix our boy.

Seen straightaway and my dog was given a thorough examination and I came away very reassured

Unfortunately our consultation was useless. Had to go back to our normal vet as he still wasn’t better 4 days after pooing blood for almost a week and the emergency vet said it was nothing to worry about. £390 pound later for a consultation fee and pro/prebiotic treatment that did nothing for him. He had a really bad ‘stomach bug’ and needed antibiotics, which they could have given to him on Sunday for a quicker recovery.

Was seen swiftly and thoroughly- worse case scenario painted ( but through animal poison centre) but fortunately cat doing extremely well. Vet was lovely with her and good at explaining what was going on.

My only criticism is that despite being seen and medicated with 24hrs worth of drugs at 1.30am, vet was adamant she needed to be seen by own vet for repeat injections the same day in the afternoon. I thought this strange as even making a late appointment would mean she would be too early for more meds, tho I took her anyway and we formulated a plan but as anticipated she was unable to have more meds til the following am. Having said this, she needed to be re-examined anyway and as she insured ( thank goodness!) I would rather take her too often than not enough ( she may not agree!). Vets now was being held in my usual practice which is always kept clean and tidy. I was grateful to them in every way and am thrilled at the way she is recovering after everything that could have happened. We used to ace to travel miles at night and when you feel shaky and upset anf your pet doesn’t like travelling and is unwell it makes you more grateful. However if I wasn’t insured it would need a different matter ( no I don’t need a breakdown of costs thank you 😊! Just feel bad for those who don’t have insurance). Bit cheeky of the poisons line ( I was on the phone when I arrived having paid them, know I will get that back, for them to charge me extra because I handed the phone to the nurse rather than forget it all cos I was in a state, had taken my night meds which are heavy duty as I’m usually a wheelchair user myself- I don’t think this is good practice but this was the poison line I think, not the vets) but just happy that my little one is eating already and just three more visits to go…..

Support and very professional, helping our dog after he was hit by a van. Vets were located close to our home. Vet was kind and caring and the out of hours service was fully staffed with nurses too.

The vet I saw was very good with my cat, have him a hug before ‘getting stuck in’. Was extremely thoughtful, explaining what he was going to do and what reaction he was looking for, so I was not thinking ‘oh my gosh he’s hurting my cat’.

Seen quickly, vet was very good with my cat who can be a bit grumpy at the vets as doesn’t like being restrained or held much.

Both vet and nurse were absolutely amazing. Gave the right treatment for my dog having cluster seizures and looked after him with great care. Can’t thank them both enough for the amazing care.

Tusker was wrongly diagnosed not kennel cough but mass in his chest ,fluid around his heart and collaped lung he suffered for days after treatment for kennel cough had to be euthanized 6days later.

From the initial phone call the service was nothing but professional, friendly and efficient. Our dog was in a very serious condition on arrival and we were helped from the car and he was seen immediately. We were kept updated on his condition, with honest possible outcomes. Their service is why he’s so much better and continuing to recover.

Very helpful, after looking at our cockapoo, explained what was the problem with his ear showed us the grass seed which was removed and causing our pet a lot of stress, and shaking of his head. Relieved it was resolved.
