I think the gym is actually pretty good. I signed up for the premium 24-hour option but, sadly, on 2 of the 4 occasions I've visited in my first week my pin hasn't worked and I've been locked out. There is basically no customer services to sort this out. When I entered 'pin not working' on website help page I was helpfully advised to 'enter the 8 digit pin and press enter' with no option to follow this up. So I basically cannot enter or fix this. I've cancelled my membership today.

Went to sign back up to puregym to get use of all gyms around country as I work all over and the price has gone up alot. Its insane nearly £40 a month when it wasnt even £30 the beginning of the year.

Why has it gone up so much its supposed to be the budget option. If it had better equipment I'd understand but its very basic

Ease of access, good variety of equipment, availability of PTs, convenient location

Horrible gym, they claim to be 24hrs and have shut down the whole bottom floor which includes a studio, a grass cardio area and a whole weights section. I cannot believe that they have shut this off 10-8am, what happens to all of the people that go gym in the morning? Its an absolute joke and waste of money

Good but the clips for the equipment could do with a change. There's only 1 clip I can use on the sled pulls and the clasp is broken

i used to enjoy using this gym, however i have fallen out of touch with it in the last year, and have paused/ will be cancelling my membership, since the manager of my personal gym misused his power on two occasions.
the first occasion being the manager allegedly blocked my gym code, which i had to ask another member of staff to give me a new one as i hadnt violated any rules. i discovered the manager had been asked by a girl he knew to block my membership, as she ‘didnt like me’, due to the fact my friend had been on a date with her boyfriend (at the time) a year before they had even met.

the second occasion was this same manager threatened that my second ‘bring a buddy’ code would have to be removed, unless i agreed that he could use my account to sign up to internal gym classes, to improve the performance statistics of the gym he managed.
i used to really enjoy this gym, hence not giving it 1 star, and my experience doesnt reflect everyones, however i have also noticed that the gym has become overcrowded in the last year compared to when i joined 4 years ago, making it less enjoyable to workout there.

Fantastic gym! great availability of equipment, plenty of great features on the app. Very clean gym with lots of facilities. The Staff are EPIC at Elgin Puregym. Thanks everyone :)

my problems been sorted

It was my first visit to the gym, and I really enjoyed it. I joined the MIND class with Natasha, who was great. The gym has excellent facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a really positive first experience!

What makes PureGym Airdrie stand out is the staff!

The team are always friendly, welcoming and approachable, and genuinely seem to care about the people who train there. There's a really positive atmosphere in the gym, and a lot of that comes down to the attitude and professionalism of the staff.

Having been involved in the fitness industry for many years, I know how important a good team is to the overall member experience, and the staff here deserve real credit. They're a great example of how much difference the right people can make.

Keep up the great work, team. A real credit to PureGym!

Amazing equipment, clean and friendly. You never have to wait around to use any of the equipment as there are nearly two of everything.

A pleasant atmosphere which helps you fit right in, even if you don’t really know anyone there.

I am a member of PureGym at Bury in Greater Manchester and recently received a significant number parking tickets when I was training very early mornings.

I have appealed but after speaking to both Ollie and Josh they immediately put my mind at rest and dealt with the situation for me.

Not only a great gesture to support me but the gym is so professionally well run , great equipment and the trainers are so helpful and freindly.

A pleasure to train there and the trainers are a credit to the business.

It is one of the worst gym I had experienced and making fraud to your account even if you stop they taking a money out of your account.In addition if you froze your balance it is not working they are making unfrozen!horrible surface and poor system .
