Awful customer service and late…
Awful customer service and late delivery.
We ordered, and paid up front, for tiles with a delivery timeline of 6 weeks.
We were given no warning that half the order would not arrive in the committed timeframe. When our project manager followed up she was misled about the status of the order, and told different things on different days.
When my husband followed up he was also told conflicting information.
The only member of staff we could all get hold of was extremely unhelpful and unapologetic- and appeared not to know what was happening with the order.
In the end we had to arrange for collection of the tiles from the warehouse ourselves- in order to get them quicker than Östersjösten could manage. By this point we had lost all faith that any promised delivery date could actually be relied upon.
We eventually got the tiles on site 16 days late.
The impact on our renovation project was costly- particularly the fact that we had planned a large team of people around the incorrect information from Östersjösten.
Österjöstens have not apologised nor compensated us for the impact of the 16 day delay.
Hugely disappointed.
