Great communication and advice from the start. It was tough finding a fire rated internal door that didn't come with a ridiculous price tag, but Isteel were my saviour! They sent through the spec and suggested I sent these to our planning officer, to ensure they were happy, before proceeding with the order.
During install, the team were respectful of our property, and kept disruption to a minimum. The finished result was stunning. The door looks amazing, and really finishes our hallway / kitchen perfectly. I would highly recommend using this company.

We had a double and a single internal fire doors fitted by iSteel. We cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, they have been excellent whether we have been dealing with the sales team or the fitting team. The quality of the doors is very good. We are more than delighted with the doors which make a real statement to our newly refurbished room.

My client had an internal door fitted by Andy and Craig. We had a few unforeseen technical issues when they arrived but they both were very proactive and helped sort out the issue out. The door was fitted successfully and looks really smart. I can highly recommend ISteel internal doors!

We had initial contact with iSteel online and then we visited them at the Home & Renovation exhibition. Design team offered ideas & installation team worked really hard. Doors look great. Fitters were excellent and very precise about the doors not having even the slightest “swing” to them when unattended. Magnetic close is a good feature. Really happy with these and will likely get more.

A beautiful slim line fire rated glazed steel partition, all fully certified! The drawings and communication was also very good.

I found iSteel at an Expo and was impressed with them from the very start. Their product, their service and their installation team. We had pocket doors installed and we are very happy with the result. I would highly recommend them. 5 star from me.

The product is OK (internal doors for a study) but the installation was less than ideal. The skirting board was cut and fixing holes drilled in the wall without a test hole being drilled to see if a good fixing could be obtained. The company tried to blame me for this and refused to take any responsibility for it. My feeling was that they are supposed to be the professional, not me. The result was that my skirting board now has an unsightly join in it. The fitters had to fill the holes that they erroneously drilled and then left them unsanded; they also left several pencil marks on the walls. I was left to repair the damage, paint the walls, fill the crack in the skirting board and paint over it. The company refused to compensate me for the cost and time of doing this (their terms and condition state that they are not liable for repairing any damage). I delayed the final payment while this was being discussed and then was on holiday for two weeks. I then got an email threatening legal action, despite the fact that the dispute was still underway and despite the fact that I had paid the three previous invoices promptly. Since installation the door seals have had to be properly fitted and reglued and a magnet that holds the doors shut has had to be glued back in place.

My experience with iSteel was not a pleasant one.

iSteel's reply was not unexpected. Throughout this whole process other than fixing the door magnet and glueing back the door seals they have not taken any responsibility for their mistakes and, as in the reply, have tried to blame me for what went wrong. I certainly don't agree with iSteel's version of events - at no time did I insist on installing the doors in the centre of the cavity. I was asked for my preference but if I had been told at the time of installation that this was unwise I would have deferred to their judgement. I reiterate that iSteel are supposed to be the professionals, not me.

With respect to the threat of legal action, I quote from iSteel's email: "It (the balance) is now well overdue and accounts are pushing to send out legal letters." Not exactly the 'reminder of terms and conditions' as stated in iSteel's reply. I'm not aware of any attempts to contact me on holiday - I had no phone calls and I had one reminder email (quoted above) after I got back from holiday. As I originally said, an unpleasant experience, and as far as I am concerned a poor customer experience and a poor attitude towards customers.

The whole process from start to end is done in a timely and professional way. Very respectful fitting and the doors look amazing.

iSteel is a high quality professional company. We had bespoke steel doors fitted and are very happy with them. They look amazing and the finish is top class. Not cheap, but great things aren't. Thanks

From the initial inquiry, the whole quoting process, making slight changes to the design, the invoicing to the installation was first class. Nothing seemed too much trouble, Ben was great to deal with.
Can highly recommend isteel and will gladly use them again on future projects.

The most engaged, helpful and professional company I have dealt with in many years. From initial contact and quote to design, survey and installation, the whole process has been fantastic.

Everything was completed in very good time and well within the promised timescales.

The survey was thorough and the guy was extremely knowledgeable, offering different suggestions for the installation that I hadn't even considered.

The quality of the product is amazing too. The fit and finish is really excellent and paintwork looks great.

To top it all off they designed, fabricated and fitted a "Doggie gate" that will resist my 9 stone Dogue De Bordeaux! Simply brilliant!
