Horrible to deal with
Taken over the bin service of our local Council. Very unreliable, staff do not respond to e-mails. Terrible attitude.

Dreadful Company
Took over 6 weeks to get anywhere with them
Customer Services are dreadful. Sales team are as bad. Don't deal with Chris...he will talk the talk and then do nothing, had to continually chase him up to be given multiple excuses.
Im so glad that I didnt get my bin from them as now reading all the reviews I can see it was a lucky escape!!
Please dont waste your time.
fccenvironment are an absolute joke, I tried to cancel my contract in July and they are desperately trying to stop be from leaving - avoid Gurps Gill, totally useless
If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service is shocking. The fail to collect then charge for collecting the things they failed to collect. Drivers say they have collected items when the business was actually closed - several times. I'm just sorry I haven't taken the time to get a quote from a reputable competitor before now.
Fcc lorry driver from Ipswich depot hit the back of wife's car at five ways roundabout the driver didn't see her car we through our insurance company saga are trying to claim fault of fcc however they don't answer or respond to requests for details this accident was July 7th 2003 ,
Clearly by not responding they can disregard the law and save money ,how many others have they hit and deny knowledge of doing so
Q
Having had an account for business collection with FCC I can only confirm that there customer service is dreadful .
1 week late and no collection of bins , 10 phone calls and numerous e mails and I am being ignored . Avoid like the plague
I have recently taken on a care home after the previous elderly owner retired, when reviewing invoices I noticed FCC is charging a completely excessive amount for waste collection, nearly 3x of our price at other sites. When trying to get information on what contracts/rates are in place they follow the textbook big company nonsense and took forever to respond. When I gave them notice they said it had to be done in a 14-day window when the contract is due to expire in November, and then we have to give them 3 months! So we are locked into horrific prices for 11 months.
I would recommend avoiding this company
A young man called Jamie Hill at the lowestoft branch he is alway so polite and very helpful never has this young man just been standing round doing nothing he is always busy whether it be helping someone or sweeping up to make sure all.arwas are clean and safe for people to be able recycle safely many thanks
It's been 2 weeks that I try to have answers about our contract with FCC, customer service takes notes on the phone and say it will pass the matter to the right department, but apart from one non constructive reply, nothing moves on.
We have 3 sites on contract, the collection price for 2 of them is different from the 3rd one, I need to properly understand why. I also would love to cancel a collection and return the bins, but the request has been ignored. The collections are always happening on time and credit control is very good to reach out, it appears that they are the only 2 efficient departments. We had no issues with FCC for years, until we started checking our accounts and understood we are hugely overcharged...
I recommend to be very careful with this company, there is unfortunately not much competition around, but it shouldn't be a reason to offer very poor service.
This is one of the worst companies we have EVER dealt with - wish you had an "0 star" review rating as that is what I would award this company. We changed our delivery from every week to every 4 weeks and stopped direct debit until we received invoice for amendment.
FCC credit control phoned and spoke to one of our staff and said our direct debit had "bounced" !!!
i phoned them and complained that.this had been said to a member of our staff who had nothing to do with finance, let alone our business financial matters. I felt it was a breach of data protection.
Customer services apologized and said it should not have happened however I was then contacted by by another manager and the response to my complaints were disgusting - the manager began the conversation by telling me how good his member of staff whom I was complaining about. His attitude was also disgusting. I then cancelled our contrast - and believe it or not have been charged for closing the account despite appalling service !!!!!!!
So if you want to contract with a company that is totally inefficient, unprofessional and charges you for closing the contract - then FCC is the company for you......
FCC Telford - They have changed our collection date, as apparently the week before they emptied it by mistake (only a bit of rubbish in there). Thus when we know our collection is due, we clear the warehouse out and fill it. Bin is now overflowing as they wont collect it till next week! Unacceptable.
Not able to speak to the local depot nor a manager. Breach of contract - i'll be cancelling with them. Avoid, use someone else!
