I ordered bedroom coordinates on the phone to insure that all coordinates were available. When I received e-mail confirmation, the coverlet and bedskirt were marked unavailable but they had shipped the coordinating shams and duvet cover. I immediately emailed them to cancel the order. I did not need rest of order if all items, especially two main items, were not available. They would not cancel the order -- afte many phone calls and emails. Blair took no responsibility for their inaccurate inventory. In fact, I could have ordered the coverlet three days later -- it was still showing in stock. Their option: pay the $19.99 shipping fee for an incomplete order then pay at least $9.99 to return the order after having . Lesson learned: order from Amazon where their shipping and return policies make sense. I gave Blair plenty of opportunity to do the right thing: phone calls, six e-mails. AND product quality was poor. Customer service reps I spoke with were useless and several discourteous.

I generally like shopping with Blair but find a wide range of quality. And it is not helpful that you do not get a break if you want to exchange something. So I have to pay 3 shipping costs to get a size right?

I have placed many orders with Wintersilks. Their products are very nice and their service is good. I have never had problems with returns or sizing or anything else for that matter.

I placed my order on 12/9, on the basis of its being "in stock," as confirmed by Blair's email the same day. Three days later, however, Blair sent me a "Back order" delivery date of 12/25. As of 12/29 I had neither the merchandise nor any word from Blair, and when I tried to call that day and the next, an automated voice said Blair was not accepting calls. I finally got through on 12/31, and was promised delivery the next week. Nothing yet however as of 1/5. At best Blair was not truthful when it said the merchandise was "in stock"
