Blair was bought out by a sham company called Applebee’s
I read a lot of reviews about Blair, I use to buy from them about 5 years ago and never had any problems with them, it is a shame they are now unreliable but I saw where a company that was really bad bought them out. Maybe that is why They aren’t reliable any more, they should have to change there name because I use to buy all my blouses from them and was always pleased!
Overnight order - didn't ship
Ordered a gift to be overnighted. An email was received immediately: Your order is being processed. Inside the email it said: Your purchase is confirmed. So, when I didn't receive a tracking number the following business day - I called. They had problems with my billing address. We fixed it over the phone. It was too late to ship that day (after 12 EST), so it would go out next day. Still no tracking number. I called back. They said it may go out tomorrow. So 3 business days to process an overnight order. That was supposed to go out after 1 business day. I asked to cancel, since it was a gift and it would arrive too late. Sorry we can't cancel it, it's too late. It hadn't been shipped, they charged my card, and I could not get a refund. They are rude on the phone, don't know anything about customer service, and can't deliver as promised. Never shopping here again.
Took three weeks to get the order
Took three weeks to get the order. the sweater i ordered was listed as 3/4 sleeves, the sweater i received was long sleeved. i called rep and they were yawning the whole time. this is chinese merchandise and the customer service is nonexistent.
Misleading Clearance Countdown Sale
The Clearance Countdown banner is misleading to those who are not familiar with the site. If you don't click/open the details (fine print) then you will never know that all clearance is NOT included in the sale. I spent a lot of time loading my cart with mostly items for an orphanage of which I have to shop very conservatively, only to find out at midnight that the items were not 50% off. This was very disappointing. Again, I say the banner is misleading and I believe it is meant to be.

It says PayPal on website but they don't use it and it won't go through so they ask for alternative payment
Customer service...none.
Customer service...none.
I have been trying to get a credit for an item not recd for over 6 weeks.
All I get is pre typed email responses from Kay Blair.????
2 items where suppose to be in the pkg, but only one. How difficult is this to understand.
I wished I had found out about this place sooner
Have bought casual cotton 3/4 sleeve tops in an array of colors. I bought just one to see if I’d like it, and I did. Therefore I ordered 4 more and they did not deviate in size they were all the same just different colors. I also bought a beautiful cream lace top for my daughter’s BMT graduation—absolutely loved it with my black jeans! I’ve never had an issue with this place. I’ve been 100% satisfied. I also had an issue finding wide dress shoes around town here. I not only found wide dress shoes and were 3/4 inch heels—right up my alley! Yayy!!!

I have bought dozens of clothes from Blair. All have come on time and are good quality. They have very reasonable prices.
CROOKS
If you return an item you got to pay $9.99 to return. Don't ask for an exchange, they'll charge you over double the cost for what you paid for the item. How's that? Ask for a refund not an exchange. You'll only be out the $9.99. Which if you get the item on sale, it's not a sale if you return it and then get charged over double the price of what it would cost you reg. price. I will never buy from this company again. Crooks, Crooks, Crooks!
My order was delivered 6 days late
My order was delivered 6 days late ! The slippers I be ordered are junk. The Sherpa lining is sticking through the stitching !! Never buy anything from Blair !!

I placed an online order 11/24 and when I went to check in on it on 12/9 it was canceled. When I called customer service to inquire why that happened or why I wasn’t informed I was just told “it happens sometimes “
They offered no apology or attempt to reconcile. When I attempted to speak more I was hung up on!

The BLAIR company is a scam that preys on the elderly, and should be run out of business.
My mother-in-law did not receive an invoice for goods ordered, by the time she provocatively sent a check, she received a statement for almost $30 in late fees. She paid the late fee via visa card but unbeknownst to her the payment did not go through and BLAIR did not inform her of this. After several phone calls and more statements the fees were over $100. She was called and threatened with legal action until I heard about the issue and contacted the company on her behalf. I urge everyone that has had similar issues to contact the consumer financial protection bureau and report this company: www consumerfinance (dot) gov
Blair scams senior citizens
Blair scams senior citizens. My elderly mother keeps getting bills with interest added on. She has copies of checks she had made from her orders. I called Blair to solve their issue. They couldn't do anything since I wasn't the customer. So I wrote them of their error. They wrote back saying I needed to send them power of attorney. I told mom to rip all their bills and throw in trash.
Shame on you, Blair!
Blair takes advantage of elderly shoppers by charging ridiculous shipping rates and charging shipping on returns, as well. They know their demographic and they know that elderly folk aren't savvy enough to know that almost every national brand does not charge to ship and allows free returns. My 94-year old mother shops at blair.com (I helped her process her order) and grumbles about the shipping costs while paying for them. Shame on you, Blair!
Blair poor quality cloths
My Mother before me, and now I have been ordering from Blair for years. I USED to never be disappointed, but the past couple of years or less their cloths are so TERRIBLY wrinkled & NOT true to size because they get then from different countries. I just received six items from Blair, all six were SUPPOSED to be the same size, but each item was from a different country AND a different size, I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED in Blair cloths. I’ve come to expect TERRIBLY wrinkled and different sizes 😡
I have ordered once before but will not…
I have ordered once before but will not order again. I washed following directions on tag. Cold gentle cycle. When it came out of the washer one sleeve was unraveled at the shoulder and a hole about 2x3 inches was unraveled near the front placket. Very poor quality. Now I am out this money.
Beware, do not use this business.
I ordered a sweatsuit for $28.47 at the beginning of August. When it arrived it did not fit. I returned it for another size, and they did not have that either, so I asked for a refund. They will only refund $11.07. When I asked why, I was told they charge that much for using their return label.
First time I ordered. What a scam.
First time I ordered. I don't know how this company stays in business. Ordered 6/22/20 and I wanted to return the item. I could not access my online account. After 5 phone calls to India and 15 emails, IT still has not fixed the problem. I returned the item 8/01 enclosing the Blair return/refund forms using their return label which cost me $9.99. It is now 8/10 and they say they have not received the item but when they do it will take 4-5 weeks to process my refund. A total of 6-7 months of hassle with this company.
NEVER AGAIN
I ordered slacks for my mother, who lives in a nursing home in Illinois. Eleven days later the package was tracked to the post office in that city. The next day it was in Memphis, TN. Why? Very poor customer service.
Great with a few caveats
I just received my latest order from Blair, and everything was fine. I have a few comments and suggestions for customers who have had problems with them. First, use your bank credit card, not theirs. Another company I've dealt with charged me late fees and interest when the bill for their credit card was paid on the exact day it was received. I complained to the state Attorney General about this some years ago, and the problem was remedied. It seems to be a common practice if customers tolerate this. I don't. Second, Blair's return policy is admittedly poor, so order carefully. Their clothes are inexpensive, so in the very rare instance that I receive something I don't like, I just give it to Goodwill. Returning things is expensive, so don't do it. Third, Blair isn't the House of Dior. Most of their fashions are cut for comfort and practicality, and that's what I'm looking for. Their clothes have the waistline where I want it and the neckline modestly cut. If I'm looking for designer clothes, which I am occasionally, I shop elsewhere. Finally, order only when a discount is offered or the shipping is free. There is nearly always some sort of promotion.
I grew up ordering everything from the Sears or Montgomery Ward catalog. I learned early that their clothes did not always look the same on me as they did on the model. You simply have to learn how to order by mail or on line.
