Aylings Garden Centre and Tearoom is a friendly family business situated on the A272 between Midhurst and Trotton. Our charming tearooms have proven to be a delightful place to enjoy an afternoon tea. Geroge Ayling founded Aylings in 1934, he bought 3-acres of land for £300. It took him 4 years to pay off the loan. George, his brother Wilfred and son Anthony ran the business until 1999, when it was sold. It has changed hands a couple times since but since 2017 it was sold to us. With the excellent support of our hard-working employees Aylings has continued to grow. We are able to explore a wider range of quality products such as garden furniture, gifts and cards, we even have locally sourced products from independent creators.

Great service as usual!
I regularly buy multiple boxes of fat balls for wild birds that visit our garden. Delivery is always as stated.
What really sets Aylings apart from other firms is that every box of fat balls has been opened, and the top packed with brown paper to reduce damage to the fat balls which is so often caused in transit from other providers. I have minimal damage when ordered from Aylings.

Good price but not delivered on time
Good price but not delivered on time. Delivery promised but never happened. Not available when I had labour ready to do the job. Not great :-(
Thanks for your reply - but not sure which system you are using to track delivery - nothing has been delivered as of today (5/4). No part delivery, not anything. Your reply does not tie up with my reality :-(. But fair point on 3-7 days, I thought I had seen 3-5 when ordered, BUT I did get notification that all was being delivered by courier yesterday and nothing turned up. Tracking shows that it is still at their depot.
UPDATE 9/4. Delivered (business day 8) - much chasing and liaison with delivery company - I think I make this day 8. Order was too bulky for the delivery drivers to want to deliver it apparently :-( Anyway - can get on with the job now.

Hi Adrian, firstly apologies for the delay in part of your order, the couriers have only delivered part of your order and will follow up with the rest of the order on Monday… we give 3-7 “working” days delivery lead time… you received majority of your order on the 5th working day and will receive the rest on the 6th. 1 star is extremely unfair for a delay order which is still within stated terms. Also the courier was who delayed the shipment not ourselves but I take onboard your comments and will pass it on to the couriers.
