Wrong payouts made on multiple…
Wrong payouts made on multiple occasions. I had to chase and they realised and amended. If I hadn't had checked and calculated, emailed them - they would get away with it. How is this possible? In this day and age to get payouts so wrong.

I have barely claimed my insurance with…
I have barely claimed my insurance with this company over the years and in the last 2 years my senior dog has had some health issues and my insurance for the month went from £38.99 to over £85 a month.
I can’t afford this so if anything else happens with my dog then I will need to get her put down.
This company has no loyalty to long term customers and as expected you are supposed to pay for something but they don’t want you to use it.
Avoid avoid avoid them if you care for your pet

Our Underwriters take a number of factors into consideration when annually reviewing our premiums, which include, but are not limited to: a pet’s age and breed, any health conditions associated with the breed, where the pet is living and vet fees in that area, as well as any claims history.

Read the small print. Very little help with old age animals
We have held this insurance for a number of years and fortunately have never had to use it. Recently our dog had gotten a bad infection in her mouth and her health has got worse quite quickly. We have looked up our policy to see how to get some help with upcoming bills only to read nearly a quarter of the bill is to be covered by ourselves due to the age of the animal and upon death or being put to sleep we can't claim for anything! Insurance is supposed to be peace of mind now its possible we get stung with some big bills on top of the potential of losing the dog as well! Not happy at all wouldnt recommended at all seeing as basically they've done nothing for us except hike the policy price up every year ( nearly 50 quid a month ). For a £300 quid bill with the excess on the policy we would be paying more than half of said bill £165 pound! Unacceptable

We are sorry to hear this.
For all of our policies for dogs over the age of 8, and cats over the age of 10, a co-payment is applied. This means that we would look to pay 80% of the claimable costs, less your excess, and you would be responsible for the remaining 20%.
To confirm, we can look to provide cover for Euthanasia however, this is a capped fee. The document regarding capped fees is sent alongside your policy documents at point of purchase, and at every renewal after.
Cremation is something that we can look to provide cover for however, this is only covered on our Lifetime £10,000 and Lifetime £18,000 policies.
Details of your excess and how this is deducted can also be found within your policy documents.
Unfortunately, as no details have been left in your review, I have been unable to look into this in detail.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
they’ll find out any reason to get more money out of you.
Our dog was very unwell and we had to put him down in the end. Because his treatment crossed over renewal period
They charged us two excess fee.
We’re in the middle of trying to move home so this has put a serious financial burden on us at such an upsetting time. I asked for to just treat us as human beings but no. Our insurance was £202 per month. Go with PETPLAN. They don’t hike up their prices.

Good insurance for younger dogs but…
Good insurance for younger dogs but get's very pricey and lot's of restrictions as your dog ages, which is annoying as you receive no credit for the previous years loyalty.

My dog has had an expensive issue for couple months now and every time vets send them the bill they approved payment within a day minus the 20% that I have to pay so cannot fault them.

Overall good caring service
Only a short wait in the cat only waiting room. Then the vet gently gave my 18year old cat his check up. And discussed with me his on going treatment . They have also sorted it out with my insurers. All very efficient.
