Alpha Heater

Referring to my earlier review; the product name may differ but the scam principle is amazingly allowed to persist. The same garbage is pedalled via saturation web sales. I cannot tell the extent of apparent interlinking but it appears international with persistent and evasive response to contact.
I can assure that useful heat will not come from trivial power input.
Check for a CE safety mark; look at the plug/connector; look for evidence that unit IS ceramic and not simple wire element.
ASK if you would trust it to keep children warm, or would leave it unattended.
QUESTION flimsiness and why customs declaration of such items gives me a value of about £3.
From my own stupid experience, better advice for localised warmth might be an oil filled radiator from reputable UK source, displaying appropriate genuine safety marking.

very little heat given out. I should have known better. All electrical heating systems effectively have the same efficiency. Low power means low heat. The ad appears to be complete fiction. DONT BUY.

My elderly mother sent for one and was charged and sent 6!!! from USA- we tried to recoup our money and send the heaters back but to no avail. I believe it was / is a scam with no sufficient customer service. I, personally would avoid purchasing this. This happened winter 2022

My alpha heater arrived tonight. I unpacked it, plugged it in and waited for the warmth! I waited and waited … now, if you sit directly next to it, you may feel the warmth. Anywhere else - you won’t feel a thing!
Worse still - I can’t find a returns policy!

I purchased three of these heaters. The earth pin has snapped in the electric socket on two of them. I have complained that this is obviously a weakness with the product. I was informed that my complaint would be dealt with. I have not had any response since. Avoid

Avoid at all costs .

Why did i not read the reviews before buying?!?!!!
Thought i'd try one before buying a second one.. at least thats something!!
The heaters not that great at all.. but does take the edge of. (big wow!!!)
The heater just makes the most irritating, continuous clicking noise..
Its really not a great buy!!
Avoid!!!!!!!!!!!

Never even recieved mine, they say on the tracking they are at customs ive tried contacting them they dont reply so spent money on a item i never recieved and they dont care Customer service is a joke so please dont both buying you wont get them and fron what i read they are crap

Recently purchased alpha heater after 1hour it started to melt, likely I noticed, could have resulted in house fire, this lethal product should be removed from sale, tried to get response from alpha heater about my concerns, still no response, public DO NOT PURCHASE.

I bought 2 Alpha Heaters in November 2022, read good reviews and persuaded not to buy copies or knock offs so at the cost of £90 went ahead. At first I was pleased with them, not as efficient as I had hoped but good for a quick warm up rather than putting the heating on however, a couple of weeks ago the top plug pin broke off and stayed in the socket, (I did remove it with a pair of pliers) have tried emailing but comes bag undeliverable, I am not in a position to ring them in the states. I am furious to have been duped and just want my money back!!

Absolute rubbish waste of money prong broken when opened
No reply or even acknowledge to emails which other reviews seem to show as the norm
Hope anyone reading this saves their money

Don't waste your money.Mine blew out of the socket with such force thought it was a bomb going off.And this happened after just a few weeks. But we are not going to get a refund.

Do not buy!!! Nothing like advertised, didnt warm the small room up at all!! Have emailed to inform them that I will be returning so let’s see if I get a full refund!!

Absolute rip off, dupped into buying x3 with crafty check out process, Marketing is just lies, product is crap, not Uk customer service no reply to emails, one of three bought doesnt start, and even had to pay customs to release in this country, THE worst experience ever. They even make out that USA is safer buying than China products !!! Obviously a quick hit in the market until they get sussed, well thought out to capitalise, suprised they even send the product.

I purchased 3 heaters. 1 immediately stopped working, a second, prongs broke as soon as it was inserted into the socket. I do not know if the 3rd is working sufficiently as we have not tried it but am not hopeful. Each time I have emailed Alpha heater I have had the same generic reply 7 times (I emailed once initially) informing me the 30 day guarantee had expired. One would expect their heaters to last for more than 30 days. They were not cheap at £45 each plus postage and have proved a total waste of money. Their response to my emails is either the generic one, or asking why it took so long to report it (only 3 months) or that it has been referred to Management. Going around in circles. Don't bother buying these heaters, they are rubbish and their customer service is appalling.

With the cost of electricity being so high I found this lovely heater advertised and recommended showing 9.9 ratings.

What a complete let down

My bathroom which is approx 8 feet by 4 feet temperature was 12°c at 7:30am. I plugged in my Alpha Heater for 1hour 30 and the temperature raised to 12.8°c

Very disappointing after spending £52.

I should have known it was too good to be true.

Absolutely rubbish. Nothing like what they are made out to be! All on heating up a very small box room. Do not buy!

If I could give zero stars I would. I’m waiting for a refund which they say they have given me but guess what they haven’t. Avoid like the plague.

These heaters are a waste of time and money only one worked there Customer support is useless DO NOT PURCHASE

This item is a scam; the marketing is a scam, don’t buy it. I bought two and one only blows cold air, the other is very inefficient at heating up even the smallest space, and more frustrating then anything, it won’t stay stable in any outlet and it shuts off often. Garbage product and garbage company.
