Ordered my wallet in June 2018 and to date have received nothing more than assurances that “thousands” of people have received their wallets. There is no evidence that tens, let alone thousands of people have received their wallets. Additionally, when I backed the project, it stated the wallet was in production phase which it clearly was not. Lastly, I attempted to get a refund, also in 2018, and was denied. There is no actual evidence this company produces anything more than fancy social media content and marketing. If thousands of people had received their wallets, there would be more posts about the product. I just wish they would admit they are a scam and have done a really good job of marketing and generating content.

It is a scam
Do not trust this company. I contributed to their fundraising 2 years and 5 months ago and they still didn't deliver my wallet.
They are good in keeping fake updates and they also, somehow managed to produce a few wallets that are being reviewed by famous YouTube channels to even promote their fake campaign and scam.

97% of all users here confirm this. Not being able to deliver such a product for over 3 years is inability and a lie.
I also only receive irrelevant emails from these chatbots. The system works like this: everyone who invested early has financed the current business, the buyer is shown the imaginary investment amount on the homepage.
These customers do not receive any purchased products. People who buy now may get something inferior. In the wake of the pandemic, the company will be liquidated and the million dollar fraud is perfect.

Shocker - 3 years on and still no reward
Well, what a shock? Volterman still failing to honour their pledges to backers from Indiegogo. I "invested" my money back in October 2017 - that's over 3 years. And still nothing but empty assurances and pleas for patience and belief.
I could be polite and call it vapourware but in all honesty, I think it's a scam at best.

when I received the bifold wallet from wolterman I checked to see if any of the features were Working on the wallet ,to my disbelief none of features had no functionality and couldn't get no refund because my order wasn't registered with wolterman after I already the wallet bought from them .This is complete and utter scam

Regretably i am still waiting for my wallets to be delivered and have been sending monthly chasers to the Volterman team. It does appear that the messages are automated coming from Bella, Martha, Ana, Lara, John, Lia and Carly. Unfortunately none of them are able to give a date as to when i can expect to receive the wallets. They keep saying to be patient and i think i have been for the last 3 years. I have backed many Kickstarter and Indigogo projects, but this is by far the worst exerience to date.

I would have given 0 stars, but that's not an option. This company is ONE BIG SCAM. They will take your money, but not ship anything. And if you try to contact them, there is very little chance of getting an answer.
And IF they answer, it will be some polite mambojambo that does not answer your question. It would make more sense to throw a penny in a wishing well, than to contact the scammers on wow@ volterman.com. Because with the wishing well, you still have a tiny little hope.
But if you write a public negative review, they will answer. Just look at all the answers for the 1-star reviews on this page. And please also notice, that all the answers tell how sorry they are, and that you should contact their costumer service (wow@ volterman.com). And guess what that will get you, if you do so.....NOTHING!!!
The many answers to the 1-star review tells me, that they have more IT-people than workers who actually produce their fantasy product.
In short: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY; OR THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!!

Ordered July of 2017, still have not received the product or a refund. Horrible customer service. When I explained why I was frustrated they responded telling me they "feel so sorry you have that opinion". I ordered the "Package 365 gift box" for $375 USD

The biggest scam period. Everything they say is a lie. Ordered in 2018, 2018!!!! Just that is a scam! Never received anything! The bigger scam is that they reply with empty words and promises to fix things! They’ve gotten rich stealing peoples money with the backing of Indiegogo! Would love to know how many people paid for a product they have never received! This is fraud and they should be prosecuted!

Must be a scam
I placed my order through Indiegogo in November of 2017, with an estimated delivery of February 2018. Over three years later and I have not received anything other than absurd, high-level and generic apology emails, much like the responses you see here on Trustpilot. I too was told repeatedly my order was in the "third batch", whatever that meant, and would ship soon. Now they say their policy is not to provide an estimate on shipping or where you are in the line, only that they will let you know the "exact timeline" a week out from shipping. You can apparently order the wallets on their website still, with a supposed 45 day delivery window. The only logical conclusion is that this "company" is indeed a scam. I can't believe there isn't a class action lawsuit yet, or how Indiegogo can continue to keep them on their platform.

I don't think it's actually a company just a scam
Not sure how long ago I contributed but I believe I was supposed to receive my perk in march of 2019. I followed up multiple times only to receive a generic response telling me my perk was in production that was well over a year ago but we have a group on facebook and there are people there that have been waiting even longer. Unfortunately all of these people myself included saw a product we believed in and then got swayed into backing it on the promise of receiving one of the first products. We held up our end unfortunately this company appears to just be a scam. Before this experience I really enjoyed backing companies on different platforms. My experience with this fake company has turned me off from doing any backing on indiegogo.

This is a scam. I never hit the wallet I paid for 4 years ago. We should start a class action against them and against Indiegogo who let them get our money knowing this was a fraud.
