This is honestly the worst credit card…

This is honestly the worst credit card I’ve ever had.

I currently have five credit cards, and this is the only one I barely use. I may have used it once in the entire year I’ve had it. Now, all of a sudden, they are charging a $12 monthly maintenance fee starting in May 2026.

I do not feel customers should be charged a maintenance fee on a card they are not using, especially when the credit limit is only $750. At that point, it feels like I’m being charged twice between the annual fee and this new monthly maintenance fee. It makes absolutely no sense and feels like a complete waste of money.

When I called customer service to complain, there was no customer retention effort at all. The only option given was basically to close the account. That tells me they do not care about keeping customers or providing decent service.

To make matters worse, I never received proper notice about this $12 maintenance fee. They claim I was notified, but I have no proof of that.

This is poor business practice, and I would not be surprised if other customers feel the same way. Honestly, this feels like the kind of issue that could lead to a class action lawsuit.

Verve

Verve, not a user friendly card when it comes to making payments. We have made payments with the same debit card numerous times. This time for a reason that didn’t make sense we couldn’t use the card we had used before. And the card account had plenty of money in it. Needless to say this did not make me happy.
