I am giving a 2-star review because TransUnion’s standard dispute process is completely broken, inaccessible, and lazy. It literally took a phone call and a formal complaint from me to force them to look at my emails and paperwork properly.
When I submitted my dispute via email, everything was laid out perfectly—my name, address, and all required proof. Despite having all the facts on day one, it took a ridiculous 3 to 4 days just to get an initial email response, followed by another 5 days of being dragged through a repetitive email loop. As someone with dyslexia, being forced into an endless maze of written emails because staff were too lazy to look at the evidence was incredibly stressful and entirely unnecessary. They just sit on information and reply with standard email templates.
The Failure: All evidence was provided upfront via email, yet it was ignored for nearly 10 days while I was passed around in back-and-forth email loops.
The Turning Point: Nothing moved until I stepped up the pressure, called them, and filed a formal complaint. Only then did they finally initiate a proper investigation.
The Only Saving Grace: Once the formal complaint forced a real human being to actually look at the records, the dispute was settled correctly.
I am glad the matter is finally resolved, but no customer should have to lodge a formal grievance just to get basic service. TransUnion needs to stop hiding behind slow, automated email loops and fix their broken system.

Raised a dispute on my credit file. Emailed directly as could not find any missed payments on the file. Quick replying advising who had reported this. Emailed back advising it was not accurate. They raised a dispute and I got a reply within about 10 days saying it had been successful and would come off my credit file. Really pleased with the quick response and resolve to my issues.

Transunion are useless, any thing that changes in owing more is quickly added, anything which as been paid off or vastly reduced what you owe take these useless numb nuts months to sort out. Making peoples credit rating look far worse that it actually is.
