The mechanic was on time and was also very polite.
He done a diagnostic test and provided me with results straight away.

Where to start? My car was first attended over a full week ago for rear brake change .mechanic arrived at 9.30 and left at 5 .30 ! Various reasons for this .i must stress the mechanic was polite and curteous throughout the visit .however after completing one side the second proved to be more challenging culminating in the caliper being replaced which i understand .however after paying on line for this to be done also .the part was ordered and he picked it up locally .we are now at around 3pm !.i was then informed he had lost the locking wheel nut key and was struggling to remove the wheel .he consulted a colleague and eventually managed to remove it .however after fitting the new caliper and test driving it he discovered it was leaking fluid and so could not complete the work !.he informed me he would return the faulty caliper and also order new set of locking wheel nut keys and follow up the next day if poss to complete the work .the following day smartcare gave me a follow up appointment for today the 19th oct 🫣 in the meantime my car was undriveable !2 emails and various unsuccefull phone calls later still no response .as you can tell from the experience not in anyway acceptable !.oh and finally today he could not remove the 2 front bolts to top it off ! So i now have to pay a garage to remove and fit the remaining 2 lockbolts . The comms throughout this whole fiasco has bee appalling .my question to you is how can you treat a customer in this manner and what do you propse to do to make amends ??

And instead of the car been in the garage all day! You are back on the road in 2hrs or less.

Convenience of having a service done at home. The man was very good at his job, plus I feel ready to tackle the roads now winter is around the corner and safer.
Also like to add it was nice to get a check list of all the parts checked which I have never had from a garage. Good price for a full service. Although I had trouble booking online I got sorted by ringing them to book.

I found the price to be competitive for the work I asked to be quoted for online. Website was easy to use and was easy to specify what I needed doing. On the day the man who arrived to carry out the work was punctual, friendly and professional. He looks too have done a good job and I appreciated that he didn't push to carry out any further works. Very pleased and will use again for future works.

The mecanic turned up on time and very exeperinced. I took my car to national for its MOT in March and was given an advisor for my front discs and pads. They told me it would cost around £560 becuse of the make of car. As being a member of the AA they sent me an email about car servicing at your address. So with the advisory in mind i thought i will get my pads and discs replaced at a price of £318.00 bargain. When the mecanic turned up and started the job he came and told me that the pads and discs are fine why am i getting them changed. I told him because of the MOT advisory. He then showed me the pads and discs. I could not belive to see that there was still around 50 % 0f the pads life.A small lip on the discs but nothing to warrant a replacement. I still had them replaced as the mecanic was there with the new parts and would have proberly ended up with cancellation fee. It took him no time at all to do the job. I would recommend this service from the AA
With the AA you know what your getting great service and a reputation to match. Never going anywhere near National garages again
