Tax Reclaim PPI 

I have to admit that after reading the reviews I didn’t think I would receive my refund, initial form filled in December 22, notification from HMRC in middle February, like many others could not get through on phone, sent them an email asking for update, then sent another email stating that I had been in contact with HMRC, with a breakdown of the refund less there expenses, low and behold a week later the cheque arrived, it has been banked and funds added to my account, I hope all you other guys are successful, just poor communication on there behalf.

I have tried to contact this company and sent emails as my tax rebate was sent to them on the 6th March 2023, the telephone number goes to an automated message that doesn't have an answerphone and the emails remain unanswered, I am now in touch with HMRC and the police as I believe this company to be a scam... avoid with all cost....

* Update- I have now had an email confirming that I will receive payment within 3-5 days* If this happens I will update my comment to a positive*

Received a letter from HMRC stating I was owed money (not a lot) and a cheque would be sent to tax reclaim ppi within 14 days of the date on the letter (26th Feb 2023). Guess what? Received nothing. Have tried ringing 01617680820, recorded message comes on saying the number has been closed down due to fraudulent activity. Guess I'll have to ring the tax office, but what can they do? They ahve been in touch and now want my bank details? Do I send them? I don't think they deserve any of my claim as I have emailed umpteen times with no reply. The only reason I have received a reply is because I posted on here.

Received letter from HMRC ref refund to be advised that it will paid by this company which now makes me think I am not going to receive. Following advice from the HMRC an email has been issued. Now gonna wait to see if this is a scam and need to report

Omg the more and more I read about this scam of a company it gets worse. Not only do they have my money they also have my husbands. Same old thing I’m reading with everyone else. Said there is a back log with cheques to give bank details. Do I look that stupid. Reporters to action fraud. Reported to hmrc. Going beyond now to get on media and reporting to police. Disgusting. Will be making a visit to offices. Don’t hold any hopes of finding that but I’ll try my best

This company have confirmed they have had my money from HMRC I have provided all information they have requested and I am still waiting to find out when and how much money I can expect! Emails and calls ignored!
Not holding out any hope of getting my money and will now be reporting to action fraud and the police as I’m already sick of Chasing them!

Emailed tax reclaim ppi .co. Uk . Poppy the account manager dealt with my refund. She asked me to send bank account numbers and photo I’d . And she would speak to the accounts dept . I would like to say I was aware of the charges when I signed up . Thanks to poppy and team my refund was paid into my account today 👍

AVOID THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY (also trading as Nationwide PPI Advice). Initial sales call last year, no contact after that. Just received letter from HMRC saying my cheque of £2250 was sent to them two months ago. They have recently changed their phone number and when you call it goes straight through to pre recorded message. No voicemail facility and they do not respond to emails. Companies House info shows only one employee and the owner of this firm also has a waste management and online pharmaceutical company so not really financially minded. Reported to Action Fraud and will be contacting Trading Standards.

This company is a scam, my partner gave all his details for his tax rebate, received a letter from HMRC advising he was owed £900, the company is supposed to send a cheque but they have failed to do this and have the cheek to ask for his bank details! Disgusting people should be ashamed of themselves!

This company rang in October last year I have been informed that the amount owed was paid on the first of march this year, so I have been informed after talking to HMRC that I should receive my cheque at the latest the end of April. I will let you know how I get on, as the reviews are very concerning.

Contacted these regarding ppi they have unlawfuly claimed my tax rebate when I have not asked them to do this and taken half of the money I am reporting them for fraud, just tried contacting them of FB messenger message will not send so obv I have been blocked, no way am I letting them get away with this I am putting a report in to HMRC and the police for fraudulently taking my money.I am going to keep putting a review on here to keep this at the forefront so people can see what this firm are all about. Action fraud have also been informed and are investigating this firm.

I was sent a P800 form by HMRC I called them as I didn’t understand the form and the savings interest I was told that I had apparently received over £2000 per year for the last 4 years from tax reclaim ppi ltd I have never received anything from this company I emailed them straight away but got a generic reply asking for bank details I replied asking how much I would receive? They sent another generic email asking for bank details again. I am yet to hear anything from them I will give them 72 hrs then I will be going back to tax and to action fraud !!

This company did as they said claimed £1,900 back just one main thing they didn’t make any repayments to me so I contacted the tax office and we’re informed they had sent the check in November so I should have heard from them by now and should have received my money sadly it seems to me they are scamming people who can not afford it I didn’t do this to line their pockets I did it to pay bills I feel like a complete idiot the tax office has told me to contact the police.

Tax Reclaim PPI are the worst.! I spoke to them regarding Tax PPI after they had spoke to my husband, but after discussing further both the advisor and myself agreed it would not be taken any further. A few months later I get letters from HMRC regarding a rebate and guess where they've sent the cheque to? Seems this diabolical organisation went ahead anyway and have pocketed my money. Sent them an email, but no response from them at all. Emailed the FCA about them 2 weeks ago and haven't had a response from them either. Total scam artists, give them a wide berth.!
To update on this, I've received the paperwork from HMRC that they were sent. Not sure if the 2 letter signature is mind or not, but I doubt it is, but funny how they've copied and pasted it 8 times on the forms (each signatureis 100% identical), plus they got my date of birth wrong and made a wild guess at my yearly income - which is way off what I'm paid.! Still no response from my email and I spoken to Action Fraud today.

Got a call from this firm today out of the blue, woman with a Liverpool accent. Don't know how they got my number. They told me they had a tax rebate for me. I knew this to be untrue. I told them don't call me again and take my number off their call list and put the phone down. Next thing I get a nasty text calling me names and telling me how I should behave and threatening to withhold the tax rebate. Who do they think they are. She text then said they were nationwide Tax Reclaim PPI, refused me her name and the company reg number. I told her I was going to the police as she should not be harassing me or defaming me. Looked them up on internet and they have so many reviews as a scam company. Then went to Companies House seems they are registered as a dormant company since 30 June 2021. This means they are not filing their returns. I then called HMRC and they told me I had no tax rebate due. I knew this. So all round lies, nasty texts and harassment and there was never a tax rebate. Company owned by one Fahim Patel. Closed another company on 22 May 2020 opened this one on 5 June 2020 same address which is month by month office on industrial estate. I have now registered a complaint with Companies House as company is not dormant, Trading Standards, police and action fraud. Nuisance calls, fake claims of tax rebate, threatening to withhold money all nasty scam high pressure rouge trader techniques. AVOID not an honest company.

I have sent 3 emails in the past week to which i have had no reply. I was informed by hmrc they had sent the cheque on the 3rd Feb to tbis company. I phoned last Thursday and was told my money would be transferred by BACS into my account within 24 hours, it hasn't.. I am a Military Veteran of 24 years who suffers with Ptsd becuase of the conflicts i have been in during my career. I have and still do live in a caravan in a friends field for over 10 years as i cant afford to live in a house as i live on my War Disability Pension my only company being my 2 German Shepherd dogs. This money would be a godsend.its only £500 ish and they will take a huge percentage plus the £50 admin fee ( dont know what that is for) but any money would be gratefully received. I explained all the avove in my last email to them and still no reply i guess they treat war veterans just like the government do!!!!!!!

Still waiting for my refund despite getting my letter from hmrc saying they have sent a cheque to you I have emailed and called several times with nobody responding just want what is rightfully mine , will not use again ! Update** I have recieved my payment but ppl please read the charges 33.3% + vat and 50 pound admin charges I got a good payout despite the charges taken off .

I received a call in November 2022. I have tried myself to claim from HMRC but the form is so complicated. I thought, nothing to lose even a couple of hundred quid is better than nothing. 12 weeks later I got a letter from HMRC, my rebate had been sent to reclaim. I emailed and was told the money would be in my account within 72 hours, and it was. Happy days, I rcvd just over £400 from an £800 refund. I knew what the fees would be as I asked and read the contract before signing. Yes the fees are high but I wouldn’t have got a penny if I hadn’t gone through this company. Very happy with the result

I received a called before Christmas as I had used these Afew years back. On 07/02/23 HMRC emailed my explaining I was due two payments and they had sent the cheques to Tax Claim PPI i then found out they take 33.3% which was ok but then it’s plus VAT (another 20%) and to top it off another £50 administration fee (which they still haven’t explained what that’s for) so nearly £300 of my money to send a letter to HMRC. still no money in my bank 72hrs later.
Nicola has been very helpful via email but avoid this company as there fees are day light robbery and refer you back to there terms and conditions which they have never sent me?
