Treated very well by all the staff from reception to surgeon, all happy to answer any questions , made both my visits a pleasant experience .

Initial assessment and surgery went really well. Staff at the clinic were brilliant.
Unfortunately, the post surgery service has been a let down.
I phoned 5 days after my surgery for advice about some symptoms that I was experiencing, and was promised a call back within 24 hours.. 3 days on and I still haven't had the call.

I had my cataract surgery done at America Colchester last week. I can't praise the staff enough, at every stage the staff put me at ease and were wonderful. I had no pain whatsoever during the operation and none after. I would recommend America 100% and the difference in my right eye, to before is amazing, can't wait for my other eye to be done Thank you America 8/7/26 Stephanie clacton

Receptionist totally failed to send my medical feed back as they told me to the hospital. I called two times last me he disconnected the phone while iam online that was so rude. He didn't consider my age and iam moving without glasses for two months

Had my second cataract surgery six days ago, and just to say everything went perfectly, same as last time.
All the staff were very professional, and friendly. A big thank you to the team at SpaMedica Wokingham.

My proceedure was a raving success. Thanks to the fantastic staff at SpaMedica in Birmingham I went from near totally blind in my right eye to good as new in 15 minutes.

Took my mum to have first cataract surgery, she suffers with dementia and I was uncertain weither she would go ahead with the procedure.
From walking in the entrance and being greeted by two lovely gentlemen on reception, who escorted us upstairs. From there on all the staff were most helpful and caring explaining everything throughly and helping put my mums mind at ease. Couldn’t fault any one or anything at all, a truly positive experience.

I had a cataract removed on 14 July at spa medica on tickhill rd Balby. I was very nervous but the staff were lovely, from reception to the surgeon. Explained everything and gave me chance to ask questions. Made sure I was comfortable and reassured me all the way. I will not be frightened of having my other eye done and will request i go there again.

Very nice staff, efficient service

Had my cataract op 2 years ago at SpaMedica. Was seen within a few weeks of referral and had first eye op a week later. 2 years later I have PCO in both eyes and am almost blind in one eye. The post operation service for this has been well short of the previous service. 2 months waiting list for an assessment then they cancelled the appointment with 2 days notice …… a disaster. A few days later I was able to get an assessment appointment at another branch 30 miles away and the laser treatment was carried out as an “exception” at my local branch a few days later.

Wonderfully friendly caring and informative staff and professionals
As a NHS patient I received a ‘basic’ lens which was explained to me would hopefully restore my distance vision
Can you imagine my delight when the following morning after the cloudy lens had cleared and I could see details in the distance I had not seen for years
To my amazement I could read text perfectly down to 10 point
A size previous to the procedure I could not read with my reading glasses
I can’t wait to get my other eye done
I can highly recommend SpaMedica to anyone looking for professional painless surgery

Great result, I don’t have to rely on my golf buddies to spot my ball since my cataract operation. Seamless process at SpaMedica, great staff throughout the process and a fabulous result, driving after 3 days as reading a numberplate at 25 yards is a breeze now. Can’t wait to get the other eye done

Pleasant experience today at SpaMedica, who performed cataract surgery on my right eye. The whole experience from the initial visit / assessment to surgery today has been first class. I attended Derby Spamedica for my 2nd cataract operation, I can honestly say from being greeted at reception to meeting the surgeon the staff were kind, helpful and reassuring. Everything was explained about the procedure, the surgeon was excellent, he said I had been a good boy and gave me a sticker haha! Would definitely recommend Spamedica Derby

Excellent treatment and care from this close knit team in Birmingham. Went through quickly for this second cataract op, without feeling rushed. Highly recommended.

I was amazed at how quickly I was seen after my referral for cataract surgery. I was given a full explanation of what to expect during the surgery and afterwards.
The surgery itself was painless. I didn't think I would be able to lie still or keep my eye focused but they made it simple and comfortable. Staff were all very helpful and took all my queries seriously. Nobody can believe, least of all me, that there has been no pain and only minimal discomfort ( some more related to the heatwave than the surgery I think).
I had a small issue with my drops but collected a replacement bottle in an hour from calling them.
I cannot believe how clear my vision is in that eye.
Now, although my other eye is judged to be only slightly affected, I can really see how clouded my vision has been.

Referred to SpaMedica by my optometrist. Just back from a cataract operation. Brilliant service & staff at the Blackpool branch. Everyone so helpful & kind. A painless procedure. Looking forward to having my other eye done soon!

Just had my first cataract done today.I was very nervous but the staff were very informative and professional and friendly.The procedure was unbelievably quick so will have no fear when going for my other eye.

Bolton Spa Medica is in a lovely area of Bolton easy to get to. Everyone was so efficient and helpful, I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to anything like this but I felt totally comfortable and well looked after. Looking forward to the other eye being done.😎🌞😎

From the time I arrived at SpaMedica, I was helped to settle in and feel at ease in every way, checks to see if I felt ok, with the option of tea and coffee, should I wish. When the main procedure started all the staff were attentive and kind, at no point did I feel the slightest pain or worry. The end result is amazing I can barely describe just how wonderfull it is.
