Sliding Sash Solutions Reviews

We had our windows refurbished by Dermot from SSS.
The service that we received from the quotation to the completion of the works was nothing short of excellent.
The detailed quotation was completed and sent to us quickly after Dermot had completed a site inspection.
Shortly after Dermot telephoned to ask if we were happy with the quote and to book a date for the works to be completed.
We had 6 slide and sash windows to refurbish of which only 1 opened. Due to the age and poor state of our windows, I had doubts that all of the windows could be refurbished and work as they should, but I need not have worried. We now have 6 fully functional, easy opening windows that open from both the top and bottom. Dermot is a true professional, he turns up on time, works all day, cleans up after himself every day and fully informs you of the works he is completing.
Look no further for any works you need completing on your slide and sash window.
We cannot praise Dermot enough.

Really pleased with the work. Andy was especially helpful, talked through the options and kept us informed on progress. The cost was exactly as quoted and I think the room was tidier when he left than when he started.

Andy and the team were fantastic from start to finish. The work was completed quickly and professionally, making a huge difference to the efficiency of our windows. We really appreciated how tidy and considerate they were too!

Excellent all round from initial quote, quality of products, to final installation. Original wooden sash windows installed 120 years ago removed and replaced with wooden double glazed sash windows with all the same period features and fittings. Value, friendly and accommodating service - would highly recommend

Andy was so helpful in finding a solution that worked for us, and patient with his explanation. The work itself was excellent, and done quicker than estimated. Our new windows look great!

Very efficient, very good job

We are very pleased with the replacement windows. Excellent service, communication, top quality product and fantastic workmanship. We would highly recommend Sliding Sash Solutions.

The whole experience from the quote to the works was excellent. Care and attention was taken whilst doing the works. The quality of the work was excellent. To understand the skill level, work was done on our warped front door which now has no drafts and shuts properly. I have already recommended them to a friend.

The installers were really friendly and they kept everything as clean as possible. The quality of the product is exemplary and we are delighted. We have no hesitation at all in recommending Sliding Sash Solutions.

Professional, friendly, affordable- highly recommended.

Andy replaced 2 windows and a balcony door, together with the frames. The work was excellent with great attention to detail. The quality of the materials used and the fittings were very good. He worked quickly and was very personable. Very happy customer, thank you.

Great service, our stuck sash window represented a bit of an emergency for us. Sam from Sliding Sash Solutions fitted us in around his booked work, came over to take a look, fixed it in thirty minutes and provided us with advice avoiding it in the future.

Really pleased with the service and end product. We had 11 sash windows replaced and they all look great. Sam was very accommodating from start to finish and paid a lot of attention to detail and kept me updated daily. He was also very considerate and was very diligent in clearing up at the end of each day. I had considered completely replacing the windows, including the frames originally, and researched into many options in great detail. Sam didn’t do the hard sales push, which I appreciated. He simply responded to my many questions and the quote was competitive based on similar materials used. I am certain I made the right decision to choose this company for the works. We were recommended them by neighbours on the same street and would highly recommend to others.

Very good service all round from beginning to end. Needed to replace a pair of sash window where parts had gone rotten. Very good professional experience discussing replacement options with Sam - opted for double glazed solution with Sam offering extra drip bar to help keep rain water off. Installation service also very positive: Kyle and Dave very experienced fitters and very helpful. Very good experience all round.

Sad that nowadays when someone turns up to do a job on time, does it well and does not go over budget I am amazed! Excellent service and product. A pleasure to deal with, highly recommended!

Andy and his team restored and serviced 8 sash windows some 7 years ago (can't remember if I left them a review) but they did a great job then.

After 7 years they are all still working fine so that alone is a testament to their work!

Anyway, one window developed a fault as a corner joint had failed. Nothing to do with their previous work but they came to fix it and it was again a pleasure to have them in the house. Courteous, positive, efficient, knowledgeable and tidy.

I am really happy to recommend them as they clearly care for their customers and reputation.

Marvellous!

Excellent service and straightforward communication from start to finish - very competitive quote too. Thank you Andy and the team.

Great communication before and after the job, really good standard of work and exceptionally tidy!

Excellent work, puntucal, tidy, professional.
Sam and Aaron did a fantastic job with our sash windows. Happy to recommend and they are pleasant to have in the home.
