DISGUSTED!

I purchased 2 eminem tickets from this DODGY website thinking they would be authentic and certified tickets cause it’s “Ticketmaster resale” however their guarantee is a joke! I never even received my tickets after also speaking to 3 different service assistants! I would not recommend this website to my worst enemy unless you want to be ripped off, also I received appalling customer service from ADAM who absolutely ignored me over the phone and told me that he couldn’t do anything about the transaction and that he can’t “hold a gun to the sellers head” even though my tickets had never come through even on the day of the concert, he offered absolutely no help and cut me off on the phone telling me “I have other customers to actually help now”, seriously this guy is insane and a complete psychopath who should learn how to speak like a human and do his job! Whoever hired this guy shouldn’t even have to think twice to fire him! Dear Ticketmaster resale I have disputed this with the bank who were also appalled by my horror story of purchasing from this site and to adam screw you because I am getting my refund after all! Thankyou and goodnight Ticketmaster resale xxx

APPALLING

APPALLING, RUDE, IMMORAL, BAD CONDUCT, UNREASONABLE and the AUST GOVT should shut them down!!
BUYER BEWARE...

If you are looking to purchase tickets - don't. I tried printing out my ticket to the concert on the day - no ticket - yes no ticket uploaded.. printed out the order history and details and went to concert at Ticketek. They refused entry - Ticketmaster Resale are unauthorised resellers of Ticketek tickets. Could not get hold of Ticketmaster Resale on the phone. Had to pay for another whole ticket at the event - total cost of ticket now nearly $400.

Immediately after the concert used the email provided by Ticketmaster Resale for disputes and got a smarmy women who just keep on hoping I would go away but I didn't. By the way - yes the other man is correct in the other review - there is a countdown clock also on your login so you have to logon multiple times to even view your status. I was with a witness that also agreed there was no ticket uploaded... Ticketmaster Resale said it was uploaded and hey presto a copy of the ticket was presented to me - but alas... conveniently because the concert was over I could not view it on my account - how deceptive and cunning!!! How can you argue it wasn't there, then they produce a ticket, to you not be able to still see it to this day!!! Their word against mine!!

Refused me a refund saying I had not printed out the ticket... what could I do??? they can manufacture anything they want..

If enough people don't sell, don't buy - then they are out of business - spread the word, far and wide I certainly am... it's amazing these people can sleep at night...

Contact Consumer Affairs Victoria or ACCC as I have. Strength in numbers people :-)

DISGUSTED - AUS GOV NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE CRIMINALS

Overall very disappointing with the deceiving brand Ticketmaster has become.

I made a purchase online for my husbands birthday, he has never been to a concert before and we never splurge on anything due to income limitations.

I came across Ticketmaster resale and purchased 2 tickets for Eminem's concert. Little did I know that this platform is a marketing genius created to thrive on the weak. I looked at the price tag and to understand what the inital price was I analysed the webpage. There was no claim of what the inital ticket price was.

I made the purchase...

$800 for 2 tickets which would have cost $376.

I immediately called Ticketmaster who have created a dozen options which lead to hang up and have a look on our website sort of behaviour... I was determined.

I finally spoke with ADAM from ticketmaster resale. Adam was rude, arrogant, blunt and honestly did not want to give me his time of day. I asked Adam for his employee number and he said I'm the only adam so number 1 adam...

Adam told me the situation was my problem, I asked to speak to his manager he said he is the manager, I asked for an ombudsman he said no such thing exists.

They basically ripped me off by $400, I paid an additional $100 for ticketmaster commission.

This website hides behind the brand and makes it seem as though it is trustable, reliable and pricing is fair. However the website only mentions the price might be higher than the initial purchase in the tiniest font where people do not ever look. VERY SMART!!! Genius method to rip off your customers.

Again.. Appalling customer service and very shady layout.

Ticketmaster Resale, I am going to get my money back from you if it is the last thing I do.

I am going to post on every platform.I am going to tell everyone.

I am going to inform my friend who is a journalist at the age to report on your disgusting behaviour.

KEEP IN MIND, TICKETMASTER RESELL MAKE $100 ADDITIONAL TO EACH TICKET SOLD ON THEIR PLATFORM. THIS INFORMATION IS NOT OBVIOUS ON THEIR WEBSITE.

Very Disappointing! Buyer beware

Very Disappointing!
Bought 2 tickets through Ticketmaster Resale under the premise this was a reputable site and I would be protected from any scams. Unfyafter purchasing 2 tickets and dropping 2 excited teenagers to the 21 pilots concert perth last night we were told the tickets were fraudulent and invalid. Whoever this criminal was selling these tickets on this so called reputable platform they had done this to other unsuspecting victims according to staff at RAC Arena. Clearly measures need to be put in place by this platform if they are charging fees to protect consumers otherwise they to are culpable of profiting from the proceeds of crime. Waiting now for a reply and a refund......

THEY LITERALLY SOLD ME AN INVALID TICKET AND WON’T REFUND ME

After purchasing a ticket through Ticketmaster Resale I had to contact the festival provider to request the name on the ticket to be changed, the festival provider discovered the ticket I was sold was INVALID...
I called Ticketmaster Resale and they said they would look into it for me.
I waited and waited until it was obvious that even if I got a new ticket I would not have enough time to change the name.
I then tried to call their customer support line but it was DOWN. I rang multiple times during the day but nothing...
Eventually, I was sent a new ticket and told the original seller had “accidentally uploaded the wrong ticket” by this point I was unable to change the name on the ticket. I contacted customer service to get a refund but was told It was not an option because they eventually provided a ticket. I tried to explain that I could not change the name because they sent the ticket too late but they don't care.
So I literally bought an invalid ticket from them for a $100...a invalid ticket! let me say it one more time, I went online and THEY SOLD ME AN INVALID TICKET FOR $100 AND THEY DON’T CARE THAT IT HAPPENED!

Scalpers haven

Scalpers haven . Ripped off badly with this off shoot site connected to ticketmaster. Resale site is on the ticketmaster web page (Collusion ?) , which deceives the buyer in believing all is fair and ethical ,but be aware you will be paying 2 to 3 times the true value of the ticket ,which also has a countdown timer clouding ones judgement. Can the Australian govt please investigate this dodgy practice. Stay clear unless you are a scalper and you will triple your money.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you are unhappy with your purchase.

We do everything we can to ensure that you’re aware that you’re purchasing through a resale site, and can make an informed decision. We note on the event landing page that prices may exceed face value, and additionally on each page of the confirmation process we state that prices are set by the seller and may exceed face value. Sellers disclose the face value so you can make an informed decision prior to purchase. I'd like to clarify that we don't have a countdown clock on the Ticketmaster Resale website.

Hope this clarifies.

Kind regards,
Ticketmaster Resale

Illegitimate and disappointing

Multiple breaches of their own terms and conditions
1. No contact from seller within 24 hours
2. No ticket available 5 days after payment confirmation
3. Tickets for sale did not accurately display information of seating row etc
Following their own procedure I lodged a complaint to which I was fobbed off and sent other explanations such as tickets aren’t available
For print until such and such date (at least a month after my purchase)- cool so you’re allowing people to sell things they don’t even have. Waited til print date - 2 weeks later still no contact from seller and no tickets- After much patience Ticketmaster you are still in breach of YOUR OWN terms and conditions- on those terms and conditions waiting until 5 days? Or was it 10? before the concert..Or was it 5 days after print date? (All of your excuses but still not your stated clauses as above) I’m appalled with your site and yes you are dodgy as hell And very rude to deal with to boot.
Tickets were still available on official website for 150 less per ticket, that was bad enough but able to be handled. Do the right thing and stick with your own terms that you put out there for OUR SAFETY!
Will never deal with resale again or Ticketmaster for that matter!!!! I don’t care for your response Ticketmaster your excuses and emails are lip service lies, still all that interest money off buyers and sellers alike must be worth your time to respond rubbish rhetoric huh?!

-It’s how you deal with mistakes that matter not the mistakes themselves-

Hi Amanda,

Thank you for your feedback. Ticketmaster Resale prides itself on exemplary customer service, so we’re really sorry to hear we’ve fallen short of your expectations and that you are unhappy with the tickets you selected.

I’d like to clarify that TM Resale operates as a marketplace; we do not own or sell any of the tickets on our website. We are a platform for individuals to buy and sell tickets to live events, so we rely on your seller to provide any tickets sold, and the delivery timeframe can often be impacted by the print delay in place by the original ticket agency. We operate similarly to Ebay/Gumtree/Trade Me, however, stand out with our Buyer’s Guarantee. This protects you as a buyer on the rare occasion a seller is unable to fulfil the order prior to the event date, or if you experience issues at the event.

As noted by the Contact Centre staff members that you spoke with over the phone and via email, you were provided with an escalations procedure which you could utilize if you wished, however, we have not heard from you. We would be happy to address your concerns in more detail, via the process advised.

Kind regards,
Ticketmaster Resale

Wow, appalling

Wow. Most impressive. Impressively bad, that is. I am a highly educated and competent professional person, and have had wide experience in purchasing many different goods/services using the internet. NEVER have I had an issue such as this. I purchased two tickets from Ticketmaster Resale in June of this year, on the morning that the tickets came out. When I didn't get an email with the tickets attached, I tried to logon to the website, and was told that my password had expired, when I tried to ring I was told that they don't open until 11.00am. Once I had manage to get hold of them they sent me a single ticket. The charge that had been made on my credit card was for two tickets, but I was told that I had purchased only one and that they couldn't do anything about this. I understand that people can get confused, and that we need to be careful when purchasing things off the net. However, after over a hundred such transactions, and being extremely careful because these were tickets for my daughter and myself as a present for her 16th birthday, I don't believe that I was incorrect. Appalling, but unprovable. Never, ever again.

Hi Lisa

Thanks for your feedback. As per your communication with our Fulfillment Team, we can confirm that your purchase and the charge incurred is for a single ticket to the event. This can be seen in your confirmation email, invoice attachment and under your order history in your Resale account. We're sorry to hear of the confusion involved however it appears that the selection and confirmation were for just one ticket rather than two.

Hope this clarifies.

Wait for funds too long

Once you sell your ticket on Resale, you shouldn't have to wait until after the event to get your money into bank account. Ticketmaster Resale should pay the seller within 48 hours of the tickets being resold. You should also be able to re-sell your tickets at the standard ticket price, but you can't because Ticketmaster Resale want to obtain more money from you for their profits

Hi Jayne

Thanks for your feedback.

Ticketmaster Resale withold payment to sellers until after the event to ensure the buyer is able to attend and enjoy on a valid ticket. We safeguard your sale and payment and we also have to ensure buyers are protected and are receiving a legitimate ticket. I can confirm an outgoing payment was made to the bank account nominated by you on the 16th of July 2018, within 8 business days of the P!nk concert.

There are no fees charged to you as a seller to use our platform. Any fees are charged to the buyer on top of the amount you want to receive as a seller. This is to maintain the upkeep of the platform and service and manage the accounts of both buyers and sellers.

Hope this clarifies your concerns. If you have any other enquiries about your payment, please contact us directly.

Kind regards,
TM Resale

Hi Jo

Thanks for your review.

Ticketmaster Resale provides a secure platform for fans to buy and sell tickets- we don’t own or sell any of the tickets sold through our webpage. The prices of tickets are set by their seller and are reflective of the supply and demand for the event at the time of purchase. This means prices can be higher or lower than the face value printed on the ticket.

We do everything we can to ensure that you’re aware that you’re purchasing through a resale site, and can make an informed decision. We note on the event landing page that prices may exceed face value, and additionally on each page of the confirmation process we state that prices are set by the seller and may exceed face value. Sellers are also required to disclose the face value so you can make an informed decision about your purchase. This is presented both prior to purchase and in your account under “Order Details”.

Hope this clarifies.

**FUTURE TICKET PURCHASERS PLEASE…

**FUTURE TICKET PURCHASERS PLEASE READ**

I'll start this review by giving a long story short of what happened. At a concert where tickets were on sale for $180 and were sold out, I managed to see that I can buy resale tickets off TM resale for more than twice the price (funny, scalping is illegal but TM resale has found a way to get around this and promote it. Keep in mind, they charge a 'booking fee' for buying a ticket which adds on another stupid amount - in my case it was another $40). There were two types of GA (general admission) available, front and rear. I specifically purchased a GA-Rear ticket off TM Resale but received a GA-Front ticket. Now, while it was still GA, it was not the ticket I wanted as it was in a different zone, away from my friends that were going. I ended up having to source another GA-Rear ticket 1 day before the event. TM Resale offered a measly $100 refund first for the $340 I paid for the wrong ticket I received but that is just pathetic. They then offered a full refund as long as I sent back the unused incorrect ticket, which I did (I have evidence as per AusPost info). Ever since, I have NOT got a response back from them after numerous emails to them asking for the progress of my refund. They have just left me in the dark and I am now $340 short because TM Resale sent the wrong ticket to me.

Anyways, I find it appalling that a company of this size treats their customers this way. They obviously sided with the seller because they seem to make profit off scalpers selling tickets on their platform. Future ticket buyers, keep in mind that if you receive a wrong ticket, have fun trying to get your money back. This review will remain this way until I get a fair treatment from TM Resale. Just pathetic.

Hi Saif,

Thanks for your feedback.

We established that your seller sent you the Front GA ticket as a complimentary upgrade from your original purchase, however, we understand this was not suitable for your circumstances. As the issue only surfaced on the day of the concert, this leaves us a smaller window and timeframe to rectify the error. Due to the late notice, the seller offered you the partial discount for the higher valued front GA ticket so you could still attend the event, but as this was not suitable we have to exercise our policies for a refund request. As per our email to you, this includes sending the unused ticket back to us and other required documentation.

As the instructions in our email to you have not been completed to assist with your refund request, we have not been able to take the next step and process the refund. Please be assured that there has been no preferential treatment on either party. We deal with the seller in line with their agreements, and have to ensure a fair and reasonable outcome for both parties.

We are glad that you were able to source a rear GA ticket and attend the event. We have reached out to you via email to clarify as we have not received any further emails or contact from you aside from this review. Hope to hear from you shortly so we can resolve the matter.

Kind regards,
TM Resale

Hi Jan

Thanks for your feedback.

If you have sold your tickets on TM Resale, you are no longer eligible for a refund or exchange from the Ticketmaster directly. Our inbuilt verification system prevents this from occurring to avoid any issues for your buyer.

We calculate and present the price of the ticket that will display on the website to potential buyers when you enter the amount you want to be paid. This is showed to you prior to you confirming your listing. Payment is processed 7-10 business days after the event to ensure your buyers are able to attend and enjoy the event with no issues. This is standard across all orders and this is outlined in the Seller Agreement to which you read and agree to prior to confirming your listing.

Hope this clears up your concerns. if you need further clarification, please get in touch.

Kind regards,
Ticketmaster Resale
