Far too long to receive payment for…

Far too long to receive payment for tickets sold and absolutely no response from customer service from three enquiries. This has been a terrible experience and I’m still not sure at all if I need to go to the police or Fair Trading to get the 300+ dollars I’m owed. Quite frankly I feel like a victim of crime right now.

Update I finally got paid, but there was no transparency in the fee structure, no way to track the sale transparently on line…so I got back way less than I expected. Will never use this service again. Can’t understand how they can continue to provide this terrible customer experience and think it’s ok.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could.
I sold a Coldplay ticket in May and 3 months later I still haven't received my money. 3 of us went to the show in Lyon France and the gentleman in 4th seat had bought our ticket through resale.
I have been emailing Ticketmaster for months with no resolution. They use MangoPay to transfer the money and I have been emailed a copy of this transaction. All my banking details were correct but I have never received my money. I sent them a letter from my bank and my bank statement both of which confirm a payment has never been received from MangoPay. I have requested that Ticketmaster get MangoPay to do a trace but I don't believe this has been done. I continue to email regularly but I feel each time that nobody gives a damn and I'm being fobbed off. The amount outstanding is around $400 AUD and I cannot let it go as they are clearly hoping I will. I am so frustrated and just need one person at Ticketmaster to do the right thing by confirming that I have never been paid and to amend this.

Terrible Service

I bought 2 tickets to Blink 182's concert in Sydney in February 2024. Unfortunately I was unable to attend so resold the tickets through Ticketek Marketplace in 2023. I received confirmation from Ticketek that the tickets had been sold and I would receive a refund, at least 10 business days after the event.

The Concert was held on 24 February 2024, it is now the 19 June 2024 and I haven't received a refund. This is totally inappropriate.

I was informed by customer care that the refund was processed on 5 March 2024, but I have not received any funds yet. It should not take this long to receive a refund for tickets which I sold through "legitimate means".

impossible refund system

I purchased refundable tickets for Van Gogh alive, then attempted to obtain a refund to change to a different time slot. This turned out to be impossible using their on line system including several attempts by my tech savvy son. Tried ringing the head office but all I got was a recorded message advising me to do everythign on line. Eventually a very helpful lady from their agency in Newcastle arranged the refund, but even she could not explain how their on line system worked. It's obviously set up to discourage refunds.

Appalling experience

Appalling experience. Had 4 tickets for the Sean Paul / Shaggy concert in Sydney which unfortunately was not able to attend so tried to resell on Ticketmaster. After a month, had only sold 1 out of 4 tickets , tickets had a very high listing fee % applied to each ticket compared to alternate providers and charged $100 penalty fee (more than the cost of the ticket listed) after it turned out my ticket upload failed to be accepted by the website (I had already spent an hour the night before trying to make the upload and had thought it had gone through).

Avoid this website at all costs - other service providers are NOT ONLY CHEAPER, they sell more tickets and are easier to use.

Positive experience - would definately use again

Unfortunately was unable to attend Paul Kelly concert on 12/12 and despite some negative reviews, I entrusted Ticketmaster Resale to sell my tickets. Tickets were sold immediately and payment followed 10 days later. Thank you for a positive experience and would definately use again if needed.

Had purchased tickets for the Metallica concert in Brisbane and Sydney which is worldwide known as cancelled.
Updated my details online and via paper trial as requested.
Have been refunded for the sydney show but called a few days ago to be advised that my funds for brisbane show was refunded on the 13th of November, now the 21st of November and still nothing in the account confirmed by my bank back dating before the 13th.
Now Ticketmaster automated system says they can't take calls

Stay away!!

This company has deliberately been set up to scam people and then use fine print to try and justify their behaviour.
I recently sold tickets to a concert that I would not be able to attend. It was confirmed to me that the tickets had sold and that I would be receiving my payment for them in due course.
The day after the concert I received a rather rude email saying that I had failed to provide the tickets (which is not true) and therefore I would not be paid for them. + I had to pay listing fees + I had to pay a $100 administration fee. Garbage!!!
I happen to know for a fact that the people who purchased my tickets had successfully entered the venue and enjoyed the concert!!

What this company did is the following;
* They charged me for the price of the tickets by lying and saying they had refunded the price of them to the buyer because they couldn't gain entry to the concert.
* Then they charged me listing fees for the sale of the the tickets (even though according to them the sale didn't happen)
* They also charged me $100 administration fee (for what?!)
* In total they unlawfully took all this money from my credit card and pocketed the money as well from the ticket buyer.

I'm currently taking the matter further with the ACCC.
Stay away from this company!!

Purchased U2 Tickets.

Purchased U2 tickets through the site. I received my tickets exactly as purchased 2 days before the event. I was initially concerned however I called & spoke to Adam who was terrific & explained in a calm & articulate manner reason for delay. I will definitely use this site again.

This was the worst ticket experience I…

This was the worst ticket experience I have had in my life. DO NOT waste your time. The company is a complete scam. Here is a brief timeline of my experience:
- Purchased tickets $814
- Did not receive tickets & told I wouldn't until 3 days before the event. Also told there is no guarantee that they are legitimate
- Requested refund. Told "no"
-Listed tickets for sale $314 to obtain some form of reimbursement (already at a $500 loss)
- Received an email stating tickets were sold and threatened another $100 fee plus cost of replacing tickets if I don't upload by 9am the next day
- Uploaded tickets. Told not to expect payment until 10 days after the event.
- No payment received. No possible way of getting through via phone and no email replies. Steer clear!!!

WITHHOLDING YOUR MONEY

Why the hell does it take 10 working days to receive payment? Concert was last weekend and I’m still waiting. I don’t understand how it’s “ protecting me” like you say by you guys keeping my money. I’ll never use you guys again. Better off just selling them yourself. Stay away !

Where's my $$???

I listed a ticket for sale and someone purchased it over a month ago.
Ticketmaster resale sent me an email basically saying "upload the ticket within 48hrs or we will charge you a fee".

So I uploaded it within the time frame, no issues. The concert was 5 days ago and I'm still waiting for my money?? Cough it up Ticketmaster resale!

This Website is incredible misleading

This Website is incredible misleading! They are basically ticking scalpers. The price of a ticket I purchased was inflated by 250% including fees & charges, to make matters worse the ticket are almost in the back row. The website gives you the impression that concerts are sold out, when they haven’t even been released yet. The consumer protection laws in most states don’t allow a price increase of more than 110% of the original price.

Dodgy Seller Experience

Had an experience with a dodgy seller, did not realise this until after I had purchased the tickets and had them sent to me. Resale Coordinator, Tom, was straight onto the problem for me and had it all fixed within the space of hours. Full refund was received and I am super happy with the customer service I received. Thank you again to Tom.

Completely ridiculous experience!

Completely ridiculous experience!
Purchased tickets for my dad who was very excited to go, and when the tickets had yet to materialise on the morning of the 8pm event.
Called to enquire what was going on.
Was told that the seller hadn’t yet uploaded the ticket.
Fail 1. How did Ticketmaster not already have the ticket???
We then ask what the process is and Ticketmaster explain that we have to wait until the start time of the event. 8pm. Before they will penalise the seller and offer a refund.
Fail 2. We then ask for a refund, yet they tell us they can’t offer one.
Fail 3. We are left with the options of either go to the event and trust they come through on time. Buying new tickets and risking the paid ones come through. Double payment.
3. Cancel altogether.

What a complete farce of a seller focussed policy.
No protection for the buyer at all.

Dodgy

Dodgy. Tickets are not guaranteed to be delivered or promised to be legitimate. Staff are fully aware of this issue and are well rehearsed in the "no refund" spiel. Maria was very rude when I made an enquiry. Do not waste your time and money. The excellent reviews on the website are staff. Incredibly untrustworthy.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE! Bought tickets that were advertised in a misleading way to suggest standing tickets (which were sold out), but were in fact seats (which weren't). Even though their seller had very clearly breached their terms and conditions in the manner it was advertised they refused to cancel the sale. I note the good reviews for this site are from sellers
