Outrageous £25 shipping charge

Outrageous £25 shipping charge! From UK warehouse to UK! For a 30g stylus pen that was £70 to start with.
No way were they going to waive it.
I reluctantly paid the charge as my son had specifically asked for it as an Xmas present. However, there's no way I'd ever do business with these sharks again. From reading the other reviews on here, it seems I'm not alone. This company is one to avoid, no matter how seductive their products might look.

Lower declared value on shipping

Puchased from their global online site and they shipped the item with Fedex with lower declared value so ofcourse customs will hold it until their estimated tax is paid. I refused their delivery because it does not match what I paid for in value. They won't even reply to my refund request. Save yourself from trouble and avoid this company.

Don't buy a red magic

Where to start, the phone isn't too bad, the customer service is absolutely gash, had this phone 16months and now the Google pay has stopped working, I can't even buy anything off Google even tho it was working and there's been no problems. it says devise doesn't meet security requirements now am not the brightest but if it says devise doesn't meet security requirements surely its something to do with the phone, not Google who have looked into it and were very helpful and not me bank which works everywhere, so why red magic do you keep asking me stupid questions, so yeah literally got to buy a new phone and bin this 1 whos gonna buy a second hand phone that doesn't fully work. The phones faulty red magic and you don't want to hold your hands up discussing behaviour if you ask me

Ps I have all the emails from RM if you would like to see the conversations we've had

Even basic customer service would suffice!

Purchased the newly released Redmagic Nova tablet direct from it's UK website. It's been a painful process so far and although there is a way to get through to "customer service" they sure don't make it easy.

Firstly Redmagic.gg had an "early bird offer": for £1 you could receive a £30 voucher to be used a day prior to the official release date. Of course they failed to email me the voucher until I got through to customer service. When I did receive it, I couldn't apply the voucher because the tablet was still showing "out of stock". With only a couple hours remaining to take advantage of the early bird offer the tablet suddenly came in "limited stock". I thought that would be the end of my trouble, little did I know....

I promptly received the tablet and within a day realised there was a fault with the display (a blue halo/smearing in the centre and left side). Now I'm going through the unpleasant process of live chat and emails trying to return the tablet for a replacement. They have sent me a link via email to complete a repair form fulfilled by a 3rd party based in Czech Republic. The form has jargon in it that suggests it should be completed by Redmagic themselves. All I wanted was an RMA and a UK return address.

I am totally at a loss how this company can treat customers this way and expect to build it's customer base. Whilst I like the performance and UI experience of the tablet itself, the fact that it came with a manufacturing defect straight out of the box and the difficulty I’ve experienced in dealing with Redmagic’s customer service for what should be a simple process of return and replacement, I can not recommend this company.

I will update this review once I’ve heard back from Redmagic. I just don't see any effort in customer service so far.

Avoid like the plague. They may never refund you.

Ordered a Nubia Z60 ultra leading version on September 26th and had to cancel due to wrong payment method.

Klarna never received notification of refund even though Nubia customer service stated that the order had been cancelled and a refund had been issued.

Usually klarna will receive notification of a refund that has been implemented but no result.

I have been left with no refund and no phone has arrived.

Don’t order from this website as you might not get a refund if you change your mind.

I had three Redmagic gaming phones

I had three Redmagic gaming phones (5S Pro, 6S Pro, and 7S Pro), so let me tell you my story on why you should not be buying any of the Redmagic phones, that are in my opinion is just poorly designed phones with junky internal components and external accessories. My first gaming phone was Redmagic 5S Pro that after year of use just suddenly died on me with black screen of death (not repairable), something either shorted inside or my battery just crashed that killed my phone. I thought oh well, so I've got Redmagic 6S Pro Ghost Edition gaming phone, and after exactly one year my phone was just sitting on my table and charging overnight. When I got up in the morning my phone's back cover for some reason got unglued exposing internals of the phone (not repairable) due to cheap battery inside that got swollen for some reason. Same story with Redmagic 7s Pro, woke up in the morning and my power button was broken, I mean it is stuck and was no longer clickable, and the following day my phone got same black screen of death and died. Redmagic phones are not designed to be used with US phone providers, you can download app called Kimovil and see it for yourself. The internal cooling fan is small DUST COLLECTOR that in a year of collecting all of the dust from surface will cause your phone to die, because dust actually can short your board inside and that is exactly what I think happened to all of my three phones. This phone has many flaws and very cheap components inside. One of the flaws is the build in dust collecting fan, it makes no sense to expose internal board of your phone to heavy dust. Second flaw is position of the power button that besides having cheap built it is also gets on the way of the external fan accessory that literally is pressing on the power button to turn your phone off, in other words phone is not playable when you have that an external fan. Third flaw is external fan accessory has to be plugged in into something to get some power and you can't use phone's USB C port, because you also want to use gaming controller with your phone that goes you guessed it right on both sides of the phone. In other words, you can't use gaming controller and fan at the same time, unless you want to connect your phone to your computer or laptop and be literally chained to it while playing your favorite game. Forth flaw like I mentioned earlier you can't really use it as your primary phone in US, because it only supports only few bands, and I think it is also not compatible with the Verizon service provider. Last flaw is the build quality, these are very cheap gaming phones with very cheap components inside including battery that killed all of my three phones only after one year of use. Thanks God it didn't set of fire like those cheap Chinese batteries in the Samsung phones back in time, remember to buy fire blanket and ladder, so you can cover your burning phone with the fire blanket and escape through the window by using ladder 🙂. If you want decent gaming phone, get yourself a Rog Phone. It has high quality build, it doesn't have internal fan that sucks dust into your phone, and Rog Phones have two USB C ports, and you guessed it right one of the ports designed to power your external fan that also has unique design where power button has hollow button on the fan that becomes your clickable power button, and you can use your external fan while also using gaming controller. It also has 165 Hz refresh rate, where latest Redmagic phones only have 120 Hz refresh rate. External fan also has four additional programmable buttons on top of your gaming controller buttons that gives you some crazy advantage when you play your favorite first-person shooter game or Diablo Immortal mobile MMORPG game. Last Redmagic flaw is positioning of both speakers when you use gaming controller gets covered dumping the sound that feels mono and very weak. Rog Phone has both speakers position towards you when you have gaming controller creating very impressive stereo effect while being very loud. And forgot to mention that that audio port on Redmagic phones you won't be able to use if you are using gaming controller. It looks like Nubia has some kind of short-sighted designers with very narrow vision. Ditch those designers and get someone that can fix all of these flaws. STOP WASTING YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY AND BUY GAMING ROG PHONE INSTEAD AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS REDMAGIC JUNK!

My red magic went blank screen

My red magic went blank screen . Red magic sent it back to Hong Kong 3 months ago . Despite numerous tickets asking as to the progress of the repair they just fob me off with a standard reply . I have had to buy a new Phone . Their customer service is non existent . I would never deal with them again . I have now resigned myself to never recieving my phone back at all . Never mind fully repaired .
Despicable shocking company.

Never had a phone break on me so quickly

Never had a phone break on me so quickly. Only after a year and half of use the phone has bit the dust and refuses to charge entirely, I have tried every fix whether it be software or hardware and nothing worked. It first started off constantly telling me there was debris in the charger port, so I cleared it out. Then it stopped fast charging. Then it stopped charging unless the charger wire was in a specific way. And it has just randomly stopped charging an hour ago and nothing is working to fix it now. The irony being this review will be one of the last things this phone ever does

Avoid!

Every year I say to myself that this is my last Red Magic phone. This year I decided that it will be.
The OS is horrible, full of bugs. Playing even with the fan on overheats your device, forcing you to take ouside cooler, even you have one integrated.
Every OS upgrade feels like a downgrade.
Even they advertise, 9 pro e is not much better then 8s pro. It's just not worth of investing money in it.
So if you wish to buy a gaming phone you need to invest in a outside cooler, don't belive this false propaganda.
