My Red magic 7s pro won't charge past…
My Red magic 7s pro won't charge past 76% and I've been back and forth with them and they try to tell me that it's not under warranty but I've been having issues for over a year and now the phone keeps turning on and then off so I received an email just right now and they wanted to charge me 299.00 to repair this phone that is still under warranty.
That is ridiculous.
2 weeks with no progress on support
i have been trying to get my red magic 7s pro repaired for about 2 weeks now and have gotten nothing back from support about how much, where to send it after giving them 3 numbers to try and call and have gotten nothing
Never buy any product of Redmagic as there is no magic, only disappointment
To be honest, you can't give Zero stars or give a negative value of stars but if we could most people would do that
Let be frank: don't buy any product of Redmagic !!! The phone I received was faulty on arrival and within 4 hours after unboxing already had multiple lockups, screen freezes and black screens.
Software updates were non existing. If any were available, these couldn't be downloaded because of the lockups.
The software was installed in such a way that you could not install an other launcher to get rid of the horrible Redmagic experience
Customer care is also non existing, refund policy as stated on their Redmagic website is not honoured. For a faulty piece of hardware they expect you to send the whole package to China out of your own pocket, without any guarantees you get back that money and without any guarantee if the package mysteriously goes "missing". According to the Law they should provide a new working phone or give a refund but requests for that remain unanswered.
Already working on it for more than 3 yrs and still no result. They hide behind another border, faking ignorance about the case every time you contact them
Independant checks in Singapore on the phone showed it was a faulty piece of hardware that never should have left the production line. It was advised never to buy any product of Redmagic as they have seen many Chinese brands and phone types and this brand never came out on top as far as they knew
Its absolutely true I did not check any customer satisfaction or experiences on the brand, and I wished I would have done that. Reading so many horror stories about Redmagic experiences should have been a major red flag, as big as the biggest red flag of China.
After this debacle I bought a Xiaomi Black Shark and that one did work without any hitches, with 14 days not happy return policy no question asked. And its still working.
Surprisingly poor support Red magic 7 pro
I purchased the Red magic 7 pro and not long afteards I damaged the screen. I reached out to nubia and expected the support to be polished and proud of their products. Mistake one. Then I expected the support staff to be truthful..they lied. Example: "We fix for 3 hundred." They haven't even looked at the phone but believe they can diagnose across the globe, with out the phone in their possession, and give me a quote. Mistake number two: "we tried to call you" ok. This one's hard to prove, but a detailed message will tell me who the messages is from. They never left a vm. Mistake number three: they care

One of the worst experience ive ever Had with a Return.
I got a Phone with Pixel Error and Had to send IT Back for refund.
After 3 weeks without any informations i got a New Phone instead of Money Back. After that i contact the Support about the 10 and Last Time.
They tould me i never Had sad i want my Money Back. Thats Not true.
There English Support ist pretty Bad and No other Language ist there for contact.

Received a faulty phone that took ages to turn on and when it turned on, the screen went black after couple of hours use with green colour glitches all over the place. It never came back on at all.
Wrote many times to customer service about refunds to which I'm told i can do it on the website, but clicking refund/returns icon on their website takes you to a page cannot be displayed...
As far as I'm concerned this is a scam company now and if the refund is not started today having asked them many times, I will be speaking to authorities and trading standards about Red Magic.
Since the returns button on their webpage is not allowing me to return the item after receiving for only 1 day I've been asking them to start the returns process and waiting for this to happen... Clocks ticking I want my money back!
Have now been in contact with Authorities and trading standards because Red Magic have asked me for my address 3 times!!! Each time I send it, they do not start the refund process and are pushing the date back more and more. You get 15 days to start the refund process and they are not initiating...
I will update this review if things changed, but like previously mentioned, the button to start a refund process does not work on their website, and they do not start it themselves. This is another on-going dispute and RedMagic will be facing serious legal action if they don't comply soon.
You do NOT sell people dead on arrival phones and then offer no method to refund other than broken methods...
UPDATE 12/06/2023
RedMagic have sent me a label after asking for my address confirmation again, and told me to arrange the collection through their website. You cannot arrange the collection through their website and they reply once a day briefly with little information.
Now the phone has been sent back/returned and I'm waiting for my refund... I had to send it manually as many shops did not accept DHL which were labelled as such.
If my money is returned I will update this review.
A truly stressful experience.
15/06/2023: Today I received a refund and they paid for the phones return.
The biggest takeaway from this is that the website must clearly state you're purchasing from Asia, so that all things service, products, and most importantly postage n waiting times will be from there. If it had stated that, then I wouldn't have purchased from Asia, specifically because I do not have the time to mess around receiving faulty goods.
Defective monitor and scummy business
Purchased a monitor from this company. The monitor was defective, support took long periods to respond every time and when I requested a return they stated that not only would I have to pay for the return shipping (which doesn't surprise me) but they want to charge an addition $50 to repackage their defective product. Horrible service.
Just garbage company from who I expected a lot
Having 2nd phone from them and it's just garbage, first one had some faults, which was red magic 4 or 5 , can't remember, correctly, but 7tg is even worse, sometimes disconnected from mobile network, so you just have to restart it, what takes ages to do so, with my first phone when I wrote to them , they told me to send it back to them , on a question what phone I'll use during that time, they don't give a shhiit. It's just unfinished product, so that's why you probably paying half a price.

Pissed off to the maximum level with this company. i ordered on 17th april. within my 15 day return period in the first 7 days i have attempted to return the phone and was told it can not be returned if accessories are not in their original packaging. I receive one reply a day from the stupid company and have no proper way of communication. their landline number is in the united states and it says its english number. After receiving a returns address i go to the post office to be told the item cannot be returned to hong kong as it has a lithium battery and they will not allow it in their country.. so now im stuck with this phone and the company have made 0 effort to respond to any of the 100 emails i have sent. If you have any sense DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. I MADE THE MISTAKE OF NOT RESEARCHING. DONT BE THAT GUY. i hope this helps some of you. Paypal wont even help either

I wanted to return my item under the 15 days return policy and was told to send it back to Hong Kong that took nearly a month to do so.
I believe if you sell something in the UK with a UK website, you should have a place you can return it back to in the UK!
Having taken nearly a month to return and going through the tracking and having the concern you've done it right seemed too much.
I'd not buy from them again as the support was lacking and the return process was not an easy one at all!

I Purchased a redmagic 8 pro The day of presentation. They were very fast to manage the order.. Too fast. I didnt have time enough to change the item (I wanted the Venue version but still no available). So I decided to return the smartphone with the box unopened. I did it and the provided me a full refund in more or less 15 days.
I would say so a "serious company" with standard times of Customer support managing. Sometimes too long time waiting answers

I ordered a redmagic 7 pro and the quality of the camera the Fan and Software we're not acceptable for the price. So I wanted to send the phone back to receive a refund. Then it startet to get worse because you have to contact the support to send the phone back. After sending the phone back I am waiting for the refund, but nothing happened so far. First they told me IT will Take 3-5 Business days. After 5 Business days they Tell me IT will Take another 3-15 Business days for a refund. This is by far the worst shop on the Internet.

I have ordered the Redmagic 7s pro .. the packaging came with no safety and the phone was bumping up and down in the package as it had a 5 cm gab between ends.. after opening the package the phone had a smal dot scratch on the screen ... Not only that the phone seems to be faulty and 6 out of 10 calls i speak there is a robot scrunbeling like old tv having unstable image sound in the other end of the conversation ( or you can say it like signal loss or lagging ) that the other person cant understand nothing of what i say ..i dont want to mention front camera is worthless and the screen is 120Hz MAX not 165 as they advertise..the worst is i have informed the customer service and they send me how to try and fix this problem on my own by becoming a technician in other words and do their job 😅 trying to fix a brand new phone 1000$ thats ridiculous.. after i did step by step what they said and restart the phone i wasnt able to use it again as it stack on password screen thst i cant type because of it entered pocket mode and the sensor started to go crazy saying i need to remove my hand from the upper screen when i dont have nothing covering the phone.. so after many many hours and trying i wasnt able to logg in and had to wait for the to give me further instructions how to fix it ( technicians lessons ) .. after all this i asked for refund and to take their garbage back and they responded to me that they only can refund me if the package is not opened or damaged and the phone is not used 🤣 .. and i had to pay shipping and if all the above where okay then ship the phone to them ( where i have to pay shipping ) and if they find it faulty only then they will refund me . That will take arround 1-2 months to have the phone back to me 🤣.. but the funniest thing is how i would know the phone is faulty if i didnt unwrapped the package and use the phone? Ahhaha 🤣 .. so in other words this is Scam and Fraud for me .and their customer support dosent support you at all in the end ..instead making you more anxious and frustrated.. stay away from this company and customer service.. i have no choice now than to sue them and go this case to court.. i also go proof videos and photos unwrapping the package and everything..

Where to start.
Bought a Redmagic 7 to replace my Razer I'd had for 4 years and thought that I'd go for another 'gaming' phone after the Razer due to my good experience with it.
Ordered the phone in early July and it took until August to arrive, and that was with me having to chase the delivery for almost two weeks then wait almost another two for it to actually turn up.
After it eventually came, I was provided with a charger that wasn't the correct type for my country and was given a cheap European to UK adapter which the charger itself would fall out of because of its own weight.
The OS was an absolute nightmare. Trying to even change the default launcher took Google searches and a number of YouTube videos to ensure I got to the right setting otherwise any and all changes were reset.
The loud speaker on calls would frequently swap between the top and bottom speakers, breaking up calls with interruptions and changes in audio quality and volume.
Apps would frequently crash and for a device boasting 12GB of memory, multi tasking was non existent.
The fingerprint sensor was buggy at best, sometimes never recognising my prints then having no issues multiple times in a row, only to again, not work
These are the standout errors.
After a couple of months, the touch screen started to have glitches that I initially thought were due to the screen protector that came with the phone out of the box, so I changed that to the official glass one that I bought with the device and when the glitches continued. I got in touch of Redmagic who asked for a screen recording of the touch screen not responding.
After explaining how that was not going to happen, and being dismissed by support, the touch screen completely failed rendering the device useless.
Under three months and I was left with an expensive paperweight.
RedMagic have now told me that because I'm past the 15 day returns policy, I can't have a refund on the faulty device and keep passing my ticket from department to department either saying nothing or asking for software info and screen recordings I literally can't provide.
Absolute waste of time and money. Avoid at all costs.

It was quite good value to performance, at least if you can look past the bloatware.
but this week it stopped charging , the phone is 2.5 years old.
I contacted service and they gave me basically no advice or reason for this issue.
All I got was you are out of warranty you have to pay for repair and shipping.
When I asked how much they told me to call some number in czech republic. I guess my fault trusting a cheaper company and expecting some kind of support, 6 months out of warranty and I might as well buy a new phone. Well for sure won't be from nubia.
The phone was never used outside has skin to protect it never even put in my pocket, its only been used for gaming inside at home. And then one day to the next just totally fails, very clearly fabrication fault but still I get the bill.
Shame on you Nubia

I love this phone.. But the crashes are consistent
This phone was great when I bought it back in March. Through the past British summer heatwaves it was working perfectly, better than my old phone which overheated in the car.
Sadly I then got an update and its now pure S**t. Crashes occur on every app, I'm also getting crashes when I'm not using the phone!! Thankfully Spotify is the one app which doesn't crash as much.
I'm going to continue to use this phone for 1 - 2 months and then upping to the S22 Ultra
