Extremely Disappointing Experience – Broken Promises and No Shipment
I placed an order with REDMAGIC on July 28, 2025, as part of their Early Bird campaign. Since then, I have received multiple promises from customer support stating that the product would be shipped — first within 5 business days, then within 1–3 business days.
As of today (August 12, 2025), I have received neither a tracking number nor confirmation of shipment.
Worse yet, every response from support has been a copy-paste template with vague reassurances and no actual follow-up or resolution.
I’ve waited over two weeks, sent multiple emails, and even received conflicting information (such as a shipping date of August 30th, then back to 1–3 days). This is completely unacceptable from a brand that markets itself as premium and gamer-focused.
What REDMAGIC needs to improve:
Provide real, timely updates — not just scripted responses
Respect shipping deadlines they commit to
Deliver promised gifts and campaign benefits (such as Early Bird bonuses)
Empower customer service teams to give actual solutions

Stop buying they're products. The phones are faulty and they're support will not help you. I waste 3 weeks explain to them my Bluetooth is not working. And I got 15 email's with apologies we do our best. Yea they doing they best to avoid customers. The phone's are faulty and they know that. They don't take return or replace the phone. Scammers.

I ordered a Red Magic Astra tablet on July 15th (order number RMGEU70454).
Due to a small mistake in the shipping address (missing postal code), the package could not be delivered and was returned to sender around July 20th (tracking number: 00340434799845002606).
Since then, I have contacted Red Magic support almost daily. Each time I receive the same response: "Your case has been escalated, please wait."
It has been more than two weeks, and still no real update, solution, or action.
I paid for the product in full and do not want a refund — I want the product I ordered to be resent to the correct address.
If I do not receive a clear response within 48 hours, I will open a dispute through my payment provider and make this case public.
Extremely disappointed with the level of service.
Big NO to RedMagic
Whatever you do don't waste your money in those phones, I bought a RedMagic 10S Pro and sux.
Battery drain way to fast and I don't use it in gaming almost not at all. Maybe 30 minutes maximum per day. When charging it heats up, burns literally can't hold it in hand. I feel like this phone was used before because it's not giving a new quality phone.
Performance is fine but definitely not worth the money!

I sent my RedMagic 8 Pro to their official repair center under case number ZTE0003067 in early June 2025.
After weeks of silence, unclear communication, and conflicting responses, they finally admitted the device was out of warranty and said they would return it unrepaired.
That was days ago.
Still no shipment, no tracking number, and no clear deadline.
I informed them I am traveling on July 15th, yet no urgency from their side.
I will escalate this legally if my phone is not returned in time.

I bought a Phone last month on the 29th of May. The phone returned to the sender due wrong delivery address.
Since then I kept asking for an update and I keep receiving the same useless and annoying message that they understand my frustration but no one take any actions.

Brilliant bit of kit for the money. The 9s Pro which I sold recently, was very smart and well designed. The camera performance was certainly good enough for my needs and I would say very good indeed. The gaming area allows tweaks to performance etc.
Overall phone performance again was very good.
The main criticism is the fact that Redmagic do not seem to update the software very often if at all. If you are using the phone for banking etc., then I would expect at least the security patches to be updated. I'd had zero updates since the phone was new so I decided to sell. I'd definitely have another one if Redmagic decide to keep the software updated for at least a couple of years.

I want to warn everyone—don’t buy RedMagic phones. I had a terrible experience with their support. I reached out multiple times for warranty help on my RedMagic 8 Pro (with all the proof—IMEI, registered warranty, etc.), and they just ignored me. No solution. It’s sad to see a company with such good hardware care so little about customers. Save yourself the stress and choose a brand that respects buyers.

I bought a REDMAGIC 10 phone on the official website with the protective shell and screen.
The reception was very fast and the phone is of good quality.
On the other hand, after 4 days of use, all it took was a small shock from the front (let go a bit roughly on the screen side) to break the protective shell and the device's screen.
I went back to the sales department, who told me there was nothing they could do for me, that the screen protector wasn't designed to protect the screen, but simply to prevent scratches.
In short, it's a quality phone as long as it's safe.
The glass is quite expensive for a layer of plastic, and so is the protective shell with cooling system. (The most expensive).
So I'm getting away with a 300 euro repair, excluding tax, to change the screen, i.e. half the price of the screen.

Their refund policy is illegal
Their refund policy goes against German law which is in use when buying from Germany. They won't take back headphones a few days after arrival. According to German law I don't even need a reason to send it back in the first 14 days, but they demand one. I told them that the app is not good also the battery life is pretty bad. They refuse to take them back even than I pay the shipping fee. Won't buy anything from Redmagic again. Stay away.

Avoid buying from them. Their customer service team does not even speak english and they are using pre-written scripts or just simply ignore you and you won't hear back from them.
They are not helping you with any issue you have.
Sadly as they are a Chinese company there's not much we can do against this thief, liar company.

Terrible costumer service, missing package
I ordered a RedMagic 10 Pro before Christmas and hasn't been delivered. I never received the smartphone, on the tracking is just a photo with a box in front of a door, I've sent numerous emails to RedMagic customer service and I always get the same reply, that is under investigation, it's been more than 3 weeks, I haven't received my phone and no refund either, if something goes wrong be prepared to get support equal to 0. Please stay away from them if you don't want to lose your money.

There devices would actually be…
There devices would actually be perfection if only for one thing. I am not sure why they throttle or decrease the antenna power for there devices. There thing is gaming devices and for a good gaming device you need a very fast connection. I know putting the antenna setting on high can drain the battery and create heat. The thing is they should let the customer choose the setting they want. Just like they have diablo setting in red magic 9 and 10. Let the customer choose and give them a warning before they activate. Throttling the antenna power for a device makes it pretty much useless.

I bought 2 phones from Redmagic and one has issues with the glass screen not being completely flat and having bubbles in the same spots with every glass screen protector installed, and even at phone service the guy there had the same issue!
Redmagic customer service doesn't want to check the phone and said I am not professional enough to install a glass protector correctly although I installed more than 100 glass screen protectors until now and even the guy from the local phone service couldn't fix this unless he uses some liquid to fill the gaps!
Keep away from their products unless you want to buy another phone after a while because they do not have an actual warranty!
