As you have selected the RAC Online policy, this is why you are finding all of the processes are online only. However, you can still speak to our webchat team, which is ran by a team of customer service advisors for a more personal experience.

Hi I have just contacted the RAC as i have purchased a new car the current car has my wife's personal plate on it
and to change the policy to reflect this is £25 for typing in 7 digits then when the new car is ready for collection they want £25 plus the increase in premium ? to change the policy to add insult to injury when the V5 arrives from the DVLC and I want to place her number plate on the new car you got it another £25
£75 to type in 7 digits on a computer screen is a RIP OFF
to cap it all they had just renewed my breakdown membership without asking as it happens I would have renewed anyway as i have for the past 14 years
but I am afraid that will be getting cannceled
Probably the worst customer experiance I have ever suffered

After a bit of negotiating my premium…
After a bit of negotiating my premium remained in a satisfactory margin. With no claims for 9 years I expect loyalty and everything that goes with it. RAC did that job nicely and as long as the status quo continues they will have my custom. I refuse to pay for other driver's poor judgement, why should one? Thank you RAC!
