I'm not sure why I was asked to rate. I have had my cooler for 5+years and I love the concept, the water, but the service and the community boils down to billing. I have asked if it is time for service but I never hear back. I wish they could figure that out. Do I still recommend it? Yes.

On 09/15/2025 around 1 PM in Washington, DC (between 19th & K St NW and 18th & K St NW), I had an alarming encounter with one of Culligan Quench’s drivers. The vehicle had Maryland license plate 6GL9361. The driver, a Black male wearing a blue shirt, yelled at me, called me offensive names, shouted insults, and told me to “go back where I’m from.” He also threatened to pull over and physically harm me.
I captured part of this on video and have reported it directly to Culligan Quench customer service. This behavior was aggressive, threatening, and completely unacceptable from someone representing the company.
I am posting this review so others are aware, and to urge the company to take immediate action. Once the issue is properly resolved, I am willing to update this review to 5 stars.

They were so easy to get a quote from- quick in responding to my emails. Went over the products with me to make sure what I needed for our business was appropriate. They scheduled with us and came on time, and took less than 20 minutes to install. They also helped with hooking up a filtered system to our commercial Keurig- which I wasn't sure they could do, but did!!!! Amazing company. We are very happy with the service and product.

Noone showed up on the 19th, I got an email stating that they wouldn't be coming, never got an update on a new date or anything. I'm very disappointed in the service we've received. The water cooler trays are backed up with water and our janitor has to empty them at least every 3 hours.

Update: Quench's technician came the day after I posted this to replace the unit's pump, which had failed. Management reached out to apologize for the miscommunication and issue a credit. I appreciate the follow-up, and have increased my rating to 4 stars based on these responses. We leased a Culligan Quench water and ice machine for about a year, and it worked well—until the pump broke and flooded our store over a couple of days while we were closed. We reported it as an emergency, but service wasn’t scheduled for four days, and we were told not to use the machine in the meantime, forcing us to buy bottled water. Then, the scheduled repair was cancelled without any notice; I only found out by texting our rep. Now, neither the company nor our technician is responding, and we’ve received only an automated message saying our service has been rescheduled for another week. No fee waiver, no urgency, and poor communication. For the high monthly cost, I expected far better. In hindsight, buying our own unit and using a local plumber would have been faster, more reliable, and more professional.

Patrice F. helped me with creating a work order for our leaking ice machine and she was very helpful, polite, and pleasant to talk to. She quickly created the work order, made sure all the details were correct, and told me how to safely turn off the machine until it can be serviced. I really appreciated her help!

OUR COMPANY HAS ALWAYS SERVICED WITH QUENCH, WHEN I REACHED OUT TO THEM ON 07/03/2025 THEY SET UP A TECH TO COME OUT , AFTER A WEEK THE TECH CAME OUT AND SAID WE NEEDED A NEW MACHINE AND WE WOULD BE CONTACTED. AFTER A FEW DAYS I RECEIVED AN EMAIL STATING SINCE WE OWNED OUR UNIT WE WOULD NEED TO PAY TO HAVE IT CLEANED, ONCE WE SUBMITTED AN INVOICE PROVING THE WORK WAS DONE A TECH WOULD THEN COME TO SERVICE OUR MACHINE. WE PAID A COMPANY TO COME IN AND CLEAN THE MACHINE AND WE SUBMITTED THE INVOICE FOR PROOF AND THEN WERE GIVEN A DATE A TECH WOULD COME IN TO SERVICE IT. THE DAY THE TECH WAS TO ARRIVE TO SERVICE THE MACHINE I RECEIVE AN EMAIL AT 3:48PM STATING THEY WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO SERVICE OUR MACHINE. WHEN REACHING OUT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO FIND OUT WHY, I AM TOLD, "IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LEASE A NEW MACHINE WE WOULD BE HAPPY TO SERVICE THAT ONE." AFTER YEARS OF SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY AND THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT PEOPLE? I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND QUENCH AND WILL BE TAKING OUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!
