Shambolic transfer process – Broken website portal and broken promises

This transfer process officially started all the way back on June 9th. It took NEST nine whole days just to provide me with the required transfer questionnaire on June 18th. I filled it out and uploaded it straight away using their online portal, and the website explicitly stated the upload was successful and received. However, my dashboard remained completely stuck on Step 1.

I logged onto live chat on Friday, June 19th, to find out what was happening. The agent confirmed that despite the website telling me my files were received, absolutely nothing was showing up on their backend system. The portal is completely glitched. The agent instructed me to email the completed documents directly to their transfers inbox while we were chatting, which I did. He explicitly confirmed receipt of that email and assured me that everything would be processed and sorted within 24 to 48 hours.

It is now Thursday, June 25th. That 48-hour deadline has long passed, my money is still trapped, and my dashboard is still stuck on Step 1. When I contacted live chat today to ask why their own deadline was missed, the agent refused to escalate the issue to the transfer team (who were actively on shift) and instead tried to fob me off with a generic website link.

They have had my completed documents since June 19th and are refusing to manually link them to my file or release my funds. This is a massive financial institution holding up my money due to their own broken digital infrastructure and broken customer service promises. Absolutely pathetic service.

I made an additional payment last…

I made an additional payment last financial year in plenty of time. However. You delayed applying it to my account until this financial year, so I have lost out on the tax advantage that I needed tot utilise. Not happy

So after receiving the reply below, I have been on the phone to customer services now for some time. It is a case where the "team" who are responsible for processing my payment do not speak to anyone on the phone, so I have had to communicate via a CS rep.

The facts are: I made a request on Monday 23rd March for an additional payment to go into my Nest Pension.
On the NEST dashboard, a letter has been added dated 2nd April (11 days later) which states they intend to take the money on 8th April.
That is a full 17 days after my request.
I already have a direct debit set up into my NEST account.
There is no notice to tell you how long it will take for a payment to be processed, or if there is a quicker way to do this.
The "team" now say that they process requests within 6 days. Not in my case they don't!
I am now out of pocket because they did not process my request before the end of the financial year.
I have asked for that to be rectified and there is a cool response from the "team" who do not think they have done anything wrong.

So much for the "concerned reply" to my initial review!

this is now being escalated as a complaint. Let's see how that is managed. It will take them about 14 working days in total to look at this situation.
